The Easter Monday menu was carefully prepared in terms of both the dishes and the presentation, and as usual, the service and table settings were top-notch. Well done!

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening and I must say we had a great time. The menu offered a wide selection of traditional dishes and game. The staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location.

A family-run hotel nestled in the tranquility of Valmontey, welcoming guests with genuine warmth. The room was perhaps a little small, but cozy and had a small window with a delightful view of the surrounding mountains—that alone makes it worth a visit. The entire staff was distinguished by their kindness and helpfulness, contributing to a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Breakfast: The buffet is a bit limited during peak hours. If you want to find everything you need, arrive before 8:45 a.m.—after that time, some items start to run out, including their homemade yogurt, which is truly excellent and definitely worth trying. Dinner: The absolute highlight of the hotel. The cost of the stay alone is justified by dinner: traditional Aosta Valley dishes prepared with care and generosity. You'll hardly leave the table still hungry! Initiative by Cogne hoteliers: Special mention for the project that allows guests of Cogne hotels to participate in guided tours of the area. Since we have a 5-year-old daughter with us, we were only able to take part in the "White as Milk" excursion, but I highly recommend signing up: these are experiences that will allow you to discover the local excellence and beauty of the area in an authentic way. Please note: those staying at La Barme will need a car to reach the center of Cogne. That said, Valmontey also offers plenty of hiking—the trails along the cross-country ski trail are beautiful and allow you to fully immerse yourself in nature. We only had dinner, a full menu with a first course, second course, and dessert. Everything was excellent! Fast service and friendly, helpful staff. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Highly recommended.
