01/04/2024: Important restaurant of traditional Umbrian cuisine. Warm, welcoming and well-kept environment with a beautiful fireplace. The dishes expertly and joyfully satisfy both the palate and the eyes. A great experience.
31/03/2024: With particular enthusiasm, mindful of the satisfying experiences of the past, we returned to this restaurant in Todi. But, if you don't take into account that "nostalgia for the past" cannot help you find what you left behind, what you remember, the current experience was terrible! A whole different story!... You wouldn't believe it's the same place...but evidently not the same management criteria...Too many years ago..., evidently!, when there was a welcoming environment, good local food and friendly and impeccable service, excellent quality/price ratio! Today, none of this... the passage of the pandemic, unfortunately, has forced many businesses to close and those who have not closed, too frequently, risk losing customers if they charge €30 for a portion of polenta with sausage sauce ( €15 from the list), water and "cover charge" plus "two" cantuccini with vin santo (which were previously served, free...); that is, almost double what you should have paid!
Deleted! The Umbria restaurant of the good times no longer exists!

Cibo di qualità con proposte originali e gustose. preziosi i consigli della sommelier per la scelta del vino. Torneremo sicuramente molto presto! consigliatissimo per passare una serata all'insegna della qualità e del piacere

31/03/2024: Very happy to have followed the indication received from a known person, travelling... local and pleasant environment, good food and value for money. I will return to gradually try the menu items, all inviting to see... including the pizzas and focaccias; having been able to naturally taste "only", as much as possible and even more than possible, in one lunch! Also worth experiencing in the warmer season is the wonderful terrace with a spectacular view of Todi!

01/04/2024: The place was recommended to us by the owner of our farm and we were very satisfied. Typical place that enhances local products. The platter of game cured meats and the leg of lamb with black truffle are highly recommended.
31/03/2024: We ended up here on a pre-Easter Saturday attracted by the familiar and characteristic atmosphere of the place
The thing that immediately stands out is the quantity of wines, oils and typical products on display and for sale which shows attention to raw materials in the kitchen
And so it was, we ordered spaghetti with wild asparagus, raw artichoke salad, beef stew, mixed cheeses and an excellent Montefalco Sagrantini wine
All the dishes had a strong and distinctive flavour, which made the experience worth it
Compliments also to the friendliness of the owner and his homemade wild fennel distillate

The food is wonderful and good, the chef seems like a starred chef for his inventiveness and skill, I highly recommend him

01/04/2024: Excellent sandwiches, both for the bread / text, and for the ingredients, and for the way of flavoring everything. Above all, freshly prepared and cooked. Fair prices and very friendly family management. There's usually a bit of a wait but it's worth it! The only flaw is that you only pay in cash.

We came across this sandwich shop walking around the center of Todi late at night, with the real intention of trying it given the location and the reviews
The owner welcomed us well and the sandwiches with porchetta and pork sausage, turnip greens and smoked scamorza were very tasty!
All seasoned with freshly made chips from peeled and fried potatoes
An excellent street food dinner with the pleasure of quality ingredients

30/03/2024: Restaurant that offers typical local cuisine, I wasn't very enthusiastic but overall we had a good time. Prices slightly above the norm
17/02/2024: We went for dinner, a very nice place with a vaulted stone ceiling. Wooden furniture. A little cold, they turned on some heaters when we arrived but we were the only customers on a Saturday (it seemed strange to us, but we are in the very low season in Todi) and this didn't help to warm up the environment. I can't judge the service on time since it was just us being served, but the waiter was courteous. Three things didn't please me: the food, of tourist quality, the high price in relation to the quality and finally the fact that they only accepted cash when the POS was clearly displayed on the counter at the entrance.

14/03/2024: After years I returned to this typical restaurant in Todi. It is always a pleasure and above all a panacea for the palate. Clean, welcoming, warm environment... local dishes and local delicacies. Attentive and discreet service. Congratulations again!!!

23/03/2024: We stayed a couple of days in this hotel. Magnificent location for views and convenience to the centre. The hotel was once a former monastery and is truly beautiful. Those who like to dive into a bygone era. Very friendly, professional and pleasant staff. A greeting.
