Restaurant that offers typical local cuisine, I wasn't very enthusiastic but overall we had a good time. Prices slightly above the norm

We went for dinner, a very nice place with a vaulted stone ceiling. Wooden furniture. A little cold, they turned on some heaters when we arrived but we were the only customers on a Saturday (it seemed strange to us, but we are in the very low season in Todi) and this didn't help to warm up the environment. I can't judge the service on time since it was just us being served, but the waiter was courteous. Three things didn't please me: the food, of tourist quality, the high price in relation to the quality and finally the fact that they only accepted cash when the POS was clearly displayed on the counter at the entrance.

We ate well, everything was delicious from the starters to the desserts. Served with courtesy and kindness by Mrs. Gabriella. I highly recommend it.

Small restaurant in the city center, very typical and welcoming. Run by two nice ladies, very approachable, excellent food!

Tra tutti i ristoranti provati a Todi questo è il migliore in assoluto . Cucina eccezionale e servizio impeccabile grazie alla gestione familiare dei fantastici proprietari . Lo consiglio e ci tornerò !

Nice little place right in the center. Three of us had two appetizers, three first courses and three desserts, paying 105 euros. Good dishes although a little expensive in my opinion. Normal portions.

Ho pranzato lunedí passato venendo da Cortona per una "gita" a Todi con la mia ragazza in questo ristorantino gestione moglie e marito persone semplici e molto piacevoli Ambiente tranquillo e rilassante cucina buona e generosa essendo del settore non mi sento di criticare nulla tutto ottimo e ottimo servizio se ripasso da Todi sicuramente ci torneremo

17/03/2024: A pleasant confirmation! I returned with a friend for dinner after some time. Everything lived up to expectations. Raw materials at 0 km, curated wine list for all tastes (congratulations host), simple and refined cuisine at the same time, top marks. What can I say, we will be back again! Well done
31/10/2023: I returned to Montone for the Festa del Bosco and also to my favorite restaurant: a typical Osteria. Despite there being a very limited menu due to the festival, I had delicious dishes: Chianina Carpaccio and lamb, in particular. The owner, who recognized us, also offered us a great glass of Umbrian prosecco. Thank you.

28/02/2024: Amazing typical Umbrian cuisine, friendly and kind owners. We had a really good time.
31/12/2023: ...Osteria del Tempo Lost is a really, really nice place. Found while wandering around Google and not at all obvious; a small but welcoming environment where it feels like being at home. Walls completely "frescoed" by customers who have stopped to eat here over time. We had a sliced ​​meat and a mixed grill and in the meantime we tasted their "appetizer" based on really good local cured meats and cheeses. As a side dish I took the cabbage and my husband the roasted potatoes: the cabbage as a side dish is quite unusual, but from my point of view it denotes attention to the seasonality of the products. The result is really positive, we left the restaurant satisfied with everything, from the food to the service. I recommend it!!!
