12/08/2025: I've been to many restaurants, and I came to this one on the recommendation of a frequent colleague... He'd told me I'd eat well and that the quality was high, but I didn't expect it to reach THIS level. First and foremost, the owner's kindness; as soon as you walk in, you feel like you're "at home." But above all, the food... the pasta with mushrooms smelled amazing from 10 meters away... the gnocchi with white ragout were delicious (I didn't think white ragout could be this good). And the main courses, too: the lamb was incredibly tender and the pork was fabulous. I recommend the potatoes and chicory as side dishes. I forgot: we paid a much lower price than the quality of the dishes.

02/08/2025: What can I say? In such a sacred place, finding an excellent restaurant is simply fantastic. My wife and I, after visiting the places of worship of Saint Rita, where she was born and lived with her family, had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, where the staff is also highly professional and kind. First and foremost, I recommend Roccaporena for anyone who wants to experience a morning of peace and prayer immersed in the miraculous story of Saint Rita, and certainly continue by enjoying refreshments at this restaurant. Thank you, and if Saint Rita so wishes, with God's blessing, we will return.

10/08/2025: We chose this restaurant for lunch today, Sunday, August 10th. We opted for the outdoor seating! A very characteristic man wearing a hat told us to wait two minutes and went to the center of the terrace to speak with a waiter to arrange a table.
They did, but when we were about to sit down, two couples appeared. The waiter told us to wait. We asked to speak to the man who had served us, but he disappeared. Nothing!
They let us sit at the table but made us wait a long time to order. When we called to order, I clearly understood that we were to continue waiting!
Disgraceful! Based on the service, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant! I felt discriminated against!

Breakfast could be improved; the cakes are all made with the same shortcrust pastry, the fruit juices are watered down.
One small extra touch and it's perfect.

The restaurant is simply divine, everything can be reproduced in a gluten-free version, home-made and local products, they also have a small shop. Gluten-free breakfast with fresh homemade products, as well as the fresh pasta in the restaurant. Quiet and clean room, we were able to stay with the cat so it was perfect. I want to go back, so I can only recommend it!!

Hotel delle rose ristorante

03/08/2025: We stayed there for one night at the Hotel delle Rose, which is conveniently located next to the church of Santa Rita. But when we entered the hotel room, we were incredibly disappointed: dirty balconies, a sagging bed, a bathroom with a 1960s bathtub, a fan, no air conditioning, a broken shutter. I've never seen anything like it. They put the photos online and it's just a huge rip-off. To get to the room, you have to take three elevators. What can I say? A horrible experience... Never again. I absolutely do not recommend it.
02/08/2025: My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first time for three nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were adequate, although Room 1 seemed small. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant; if I really had to recommend something, I'd recommend it to the manager. He should have the chef change jobs, because he still hasn't fixed the tables that are too loose, unless it's the floor. With these adjustments, I might give it five stars next time. The hotel deserves three stars thanks to the staff, whom we bid them farewell and wish them all the best.

12/08/2025: We stayed just one night. The staff was helpful. They let us park our motorcycle under the window of the room. We had dinner at their restaurant, which I can't say enough: spectacular gnocchi and excellent grilled meat. Breakfast was super generous. I highly recommend it.
09/07/2025: We had a great time. Very close to the sanctuary of Santa Rita. Quiet location. You can also have dinner. Recommended.

30/07/2025: Almost an hour for a mixed grill and a Norcia sausage. The waitress, after we'd ordered, warned us about the wait for the grilled meat, offering us an appetizer. We didn't want one, so we declined. While we waited, grilled meat and sausages were brought to other tables that had already consumed a first course or appetizer. I'm sorry, but that's not how we work. There aren't first-class tables (those who order multiple courses) and second-class tables (those who order a single course). I decided to write this review primarily because the table next to us, who ordered a few minutes before us, consumed two first courses and the same grilled meat, before ours arrived. I pointed out this inaccuracy to the staff, and a few minutes later our meat arrived, unfortunately a bit overcooked. It's a shame, because the place is very nice.

17/08/2025: We only used the restaurant service because it's very close to the Sanctuary of Santa Rita. The food quality is terrible: reheated ready-made pasta, very hard sausage, watered-down limoncello, terrible fruit salad. It's an 80s-style place, everything stuck in time. The prices are medium/high. Money wasted. Not recommended.

27/07/2025: An absolutely top-class hotel. We stayed there for a week and felt completely at home. From the room to the service, the food, and the entire outdoor facilities, everything was top-notch. Perfect value for money. We'll be back, thank you so much for everything!
17/07/2025: The first cocktail ever ordered at the hotel bar was a Lucky Luke! It's a real treat! Hopefully, there will be many more to come!

08/08/2025: Every time I come back, I stop by her bakery, because it's a sure thing. Excellent products, biscuits, pizza, etc... But above all, her croissants. I travel a lot, but the croissant with Oriano's cream is out of this world... Super good!
