20/10/2025: We stayed here for one night while passing through and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are simple but clean. The food was perfect. The pizza was as you'd expect in Italy, and even better. The schnitzel and roast potatoes were perfect. The breakfast, for a 2-star hotel, should definitely be 5-star. Coffee was available in all varieties! The atmosphere in the evenings and in the mornings was friendly and very humorous. If you like a rustic and cozy place, this is the place for you. Thank you for the lovely stay, we'd love to come back!

We stayed at the Naturhotel Weiserhof and felt welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Renato contacted us before our arrival, sending us his location via WhatsApp—a simple but precious gesture—and greeted us with a sincere smile and lots of useful information about the area.
🍲 Dinner exceeded all expectations: an extraordinary goulash, rich in flavor and carefully prepared, and a rich, healthy, and authentic breakfast, with fresh, local products.
🛏️ The rooms are spotless and fragrant, some with spectacular mountain views that are enchanting in the morning.
🚗 Free parking, and for those traveling by motorbike, a covered gazebo with a small workshop.
🧘♀️ There's also a small, welcoming spa, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors, and in the summer, a hot tub with a mountain view—a true dream!
👧🐾 Ideal for families and pet-friendly: playrooms for children and pets welcome upon request.
A place where you can experience authenticity, attention, and human warmth.
We will definitely return, with hearts full of gratitude! 💚

14/10/2025: We arrived late but the welcome was warm. 2 waitresses were very friendly, smiling and patient because we don't speak their language. Perfect value for money, nothing to say. Honestly, if you pass by, stop by for a bite to eat.

31/10/2025: The ambiance was lovely. Some of the prices were absolutely exorbitant. A frittata soup, which wasn't on the menu, cost €9.50. A sandwich bag cost €2.50 per person, even for children, and there was only a small bread basket for six people. Was the tip included in the price?

02/11/2025: The reception lady was kind enough to prepare a seat for us even though we asked for the reservation in the last minutes. Anyway, there were no other customers, so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was season heading to the winter, the of October and leaves on the tree were beautiful.
Food was terrific, the interior was cozy atmosphere. It was one of my favorite restaurants.

12/07/2025: For years, we've been bringing home the bakery's wonderful Schüttelbrot and the incredibly delicious Vinschgauer pastries from our vacations. This year, we tried the apricot croissants for the first time. Absolutely heavenly.

08/09/2025: It's a small agriturismo run by very friendly owners. It was a great stop for my bike ride. Since I was alone, I had no problems, but reservations are required as it's very small.
31/08/2025: Despite there being no signs or other indications, the owner immediately barked at us through the window upon arrival, telling us we'd parked our bikes too far back in the long driveway.
When we then wanted to enter the dining room and asked for a table for 6, a woman rudely informed us that a reservation was required (hadn't we read that online?). To be honest, I didn't expect that at a farm tavern/snack bar, and it must be said that the weather was bad and therefore relatively quiet.
Everything was fine, but I didn't need to be spoken to twice, so we moved on.

13/09/2025: The loss of the Michelin star was well deserved.
While the food is good, it's nothing special.
None of the meals have a wow factor.
The service is disappointing: the waiter did not explain the dishes, and the head of service is arrogant and fake-friendly.
28/07/2025: The 1908 is a wonderful restaurant. Chef Stephan Zippl creates menus of the highest quality using the highest quality regional produce. There are also excellent alternatives to the tripe.
The excellent wine pairing, which perfectly complements the menu, is a must.
The visit is rounded off by impeccable service.

If you're looking for a refuge where the view meets good food, this place at 2,070 meters above sea level is a must-see. Located right next to the cable car, it's easily accessible even for those who don't want to tackle long hikes.
The food is excellent, as you'd expect from mountain huts and refuges: authentic, simple, and flavorful. I ordered a Milanese cutlet with fries—a classic served with care here. The cutlet was dry, not greasy, and perfectly crispy. The fries were excellent, accompanied by the inevitable sauces: ketchup and mayonnaise, always appreciated.
The seating area is spacious and well-organized, perfect for relaxing after a hike or simply enjoying the sun and fresh air. The staff is friendly and helpful, and if they're not too busy, it's pleasant to chat—a detail that makes the experience even more authentic.
05/08/2025: Good food with the most amazing views. Lots of options for vegetarians and for children. The prices are more than reasonable given the amazing views / being in the middle of the mountains.

15/11/2025: The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were really impressed by how seamless everything was. The courses arrived quickly, with almost no wait. Superbly organized! The only slight drawback was the portion sizes. They were adequate and filling, but you couldn't really eat your fill. The decor was fine. We'd gladly come back again 👍.
