23/07/2025: We have now stayed at the Hotel "Der Waldhof2" several times and were once again absolutely thrilled. We had wonderful days at a hotel with a high feel-good factor. We really enjoyed the quiet and cozy atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for that! The rooms were very clean, spacious, and functionally furnished with a touch of luxury. Also worth mentioning is the spa area – with a top-notch sauna offering – that leaves nothing to be desired. The perfectly maintained outdoor area with an infinity pool and sunbathing lawn invites you to relax. The breakfast is fantastic with everything you need and more: vitamin-rich smoothies, prepared and produced in-house, egg dishes prepared live in front of the guests, a delicious selection of breads – all attractively arranged. The evening menu is varied and impresses with exciting compositions from the region and nature, all of a high standard. The wine list is convincing and expertly presented by the sommelier. A wonderful hotel, perfect for a mix of active and relaxing vacation. The lobby and bar areas unfortunately lack appeal, which is something to be overlooked. Overall, everything adds up to a simply wonderful stay, highly recommended.

04/05/2025: In unmittelbarer Nähe der für „Kurzwanderrer“ sehr empfehlenswerten Falschauer Biotops (Falschauerdelta, 32 ha. Als Biotop bietet es zahlreichen seltenen Pflanzen und gefährdeten Tierarten ein Refugium. Es ist Rückzugsort und unersetzlicher Lebensraum für über 200 Vogelarten, aber auch für Lurche und Amphibien, Nattern, Fische und Wasserinsekten.) liegt die große Gaststätte mit einer größeren Innenhof, der aber keinen besonderen Ausblick bietet, aber bei warmen Wetter doch sehr angenehm ist.. Der Gastraum ist ganz angenehm ausgestattet, eine große Bar. Das Essen war für Meraner Verhältnisse nicht zu teuer und schmackhaft. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Etwas unfreundlich die Chefin und der Kassierer.

04/05/2025: Great selection of everything you need for breakfast, snacks and drinks. The prices are sometimes out of this world... what bothers me enormously is that the staff talk quite a bit about colleagues and management in the presence of customers. This is unpleasant for customers and is no one's business; by the way, it wasn't the first time.

22/08/2025: Too expensive. The staff speaks terrible Italian and often you don't understand each other. You order something and something else arrives, even though you write down the number of the dish you chose on a piece of paper.

15/07/2025: Extremely disappointing food experience. The food tries to be sophisticated and unique, but unfortunately, the taste is so poor that it’s nearly inedible. It's really upsetting, especially considering that hotel guests don’t have other dining options on-site. To find alternative restaurants, you have to leave the property via funicular, which is inconvenient.
