26/10/2025: The ambiance and taste are simply outstanding. However, the portion sizes are very small, even for haute cuisine. The South Tyrolean down-to-earthness, which is emphasized throughout, might even give you hope that you'll be satisfied, even on a rather expensive evening.

05/12/2025: We dined at this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and decided to have the four-course menu. It was a truly unique experience. Everything was delicious. After the four courses, we were greeted by the chef, followed by pre-dessert and post-dessert. The service was impeccable, and everything was beautiful because there was a divider between the tables specifically to ensure a bit of privacy. The location was beautiful. The price was absolutely perfect for everything we ate and drank. The food and the presentation of the dishes were simply incredible!!! We will absolutely be back!!

09/11/2025: Our favorite inn for years - Unfortunately, recently with an unpleasant experience. We have been enthusiastic guests of this beautiful inn in South Tyrol for many years. The food is always excellent - fresh, regional, and prepared with great care. The ambiance and location are simply wonderful, and until now, the staff has always been exceptionally friendly and attentive. That's why we were so disappointed that, unfortunately, we have had repeated unpleasant experiences with a particular server over the last two years. While all the other staff members were always warm and welcoming, she treated us very condescendingly. This time, after a friendly server had shown us to a lovely dining room, we were asked to leave again by that same server – with the explanation that the room needed to be set for dinner (it was shortly after 2 p.m.). There were many other guests there who were staying much longer than we were. Instead, we had to sit in a small anteroom, which greatly detracted from what would otherwise have been a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, we got the impression that hikers or guests in casual clothing aren't quite as welcome here as more elegantly dressed visitors. That's a shame, because it's precisely the combination of coziness, warmth, and excellent cuisine that has always made this inn so special for us. We continue to value the establishment very much and hope that such situations won't occur again in the future – because we actually always enjoy coming back here precisely because of the otherwise so welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

10/12/2025: I go back as often as I can. The food is divine, the view is breathtaking, and the staff is courteous. An extra bonus for those who take a stroll and stop even just for a speck platter and a glass of wine. It's satisfying.

07/12/2025: Today was an outlier! Usually, the service and quality are top-notch. Today, the apple strudel I cut was hard and a challenge even for healthy teeth. This is unacceptable and has been better on other visits. I'll give it another try next year.

09/12/2025: I was in Lagundo for 4 days over the Immaculate Conception long weekend. I stayed in the Grazia Dei apartment right behind the pastry shop. I savored their magnificent cakes every morning for breakfast, a different one every morning for both my partner and I! They are all super delicious! The staff is super friendly and the place is very welcoming and well-kept! Thank you so much. A wonderful experience!

Unfortunately, the restaurant closed on October 15, 2025, with no mention of it on their website, Google, or Facebook. There was a sign outside stating they were closed. Disappointing, as we had driven half an hour to get there.

07/10/2025: The reception was very friendly, and even without a reservation, we managed to get a table for four people. (You have to be lucky sometimes.) The food (pizza) was super delicious and more than enough. Great hospitality and genuine hospitality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely be back. 30/08/2025: The Gapphof is simply unique! Dogs and their owners are absolutely welcome here. There's absolutely nothing missing (a few dog hooks for leashes or hooks for dog towels might be useful, but they're not absolutely necessary). I can largely agree with the previous reviews and refrain from publicly praising it too much, so I'll be able to spontaneously book a vacation apartment like this in the future. We'll definitely be back, and not just once. Thank you so much for the truly wonderful stay we were able to spend with you. We really appreciated that we were able to enjoy your wonderful breakfast on the balcony or veranda back in March.

08/07/2025: We stayed at the Granny Apartment for ten days at the end of June 2025. A cozy, well-equipped apartment, well-maintained grounds, and warm service are important to us on our vacation. It couldn't have been better!

From the main entrance, I immediately understood the importance of detail, cleanliness, and good food, including drinks. CONGRATULATIONS to the managers for what they've built and continued. The warm welcome immediately put us at ease and was the perfect start to our short break. The staff truly impressed us. Every single employee was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be there at just the right moment. Our wishes were often fulfilled before we even thought of them – this made our stay truly special. Although it's all-inclusive, the quality is simply exceptional. The food is Michelin-star quality, beautifully presented, and a real culinary highlight. The drinks are also high-quality and carefully selected. The hotel itself immediately captivated us: stylish, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and with spacious rooms where you simply feel at home. Because the hotel is small, it has a quiet, intimate, and incredibly cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to unwind and relax. And then there's the location! The view of Merano is priceless and thrilled us every single day. You just want to stop and soak in the view. In short: This hotel impressed us in every way. It feels like a place you'll want to return to again and again – and that's exactly what we'll do.

20/11/2025: Simply wow! Our stay at Hotel Avidea was absolutely perfect. Thank you again to everyone for making our stay so wonderful. Food: The food was a highlight throughout. Breakfast offered a large and high-quality selection, including a variety of freshly prepared egg dishes, and the coffee was excellent. Lunch was also very generous, featuring both hot and cold options, a combination of buffet and à la carte. Dinner was fantastic, easily comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. The luxury all-inclusive concept truly covers everything, allowing guests to enjoy a wide selection of exquisite cocktails and an extensive wine list. Service: The service was simply wonderful. The entire team was incredibly attentive, warm, and personable, making us feel instantly at ease. We would especially like to commend Christine and Serena, who made our dinners even more special each evening with their incredibly kind and friendly manner. Dinner was fantastic, easily comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Room: The room was very nice and spacious, and the view of the mountain panorama, over which the sun rises in the morning, was simply breathtaking. The large balcony is an additional highlight, offering plenty of space and perfect for relaxing. Spa: The spa area is surprisingly large for a relatively small hotel, featuring two wonderfully warm pools where you can truly unwind. In addition, there are three saunas and a steam room, all offering ample space. There are plenty of loungers in each area, so you never have to worry about finding a spot. The sauna infusions were also excellent and perfectly complemented the spa experience. In short: a hotel that excels in every aspect, one you'd want to book again immediately, and which we can wholeheartedly recommend. 🙌✨

27/10/2025: We spent a wonderful day at the hotel's day spa. The spa area with its infinity pool is stunningly beautiful, as are the stylish relaxation rooms. The entire hotel is very tastefully decorated, and the staff impresses with their friendliness and attentiveness. The two hosts are also extremely warm and accommodating. We felt completely at home and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. The location is also excellent – ​​the train station and shopping center are just a five-minute walk away.
