26/07/2025: A few years ago, we dined here for the first time. While the food was already delicious, the service was completely chaotic because they offered both à la carte and a set menu, leading to incredibly long wait times. We already considered that the food was of such a high standard that it would be better to focus on the set menu and cater to a smaller group. This year, after reading many positive reviews, we gave it another try, and we were absolutely not disappointed. Every dish was a flavor explosion, and the entire team clearly works with great passion. It's wonderful to see this evolution. A top-notch experience!

17/07/2025: Art! After my visit to the Blaue Traube, this noun remains as the conclusion, aptly reflecting all of my impressions. The entire evening is a culinary declaration of love for South Tyrol, which cannot be expressed any other way. It is an evening that promises everything and delivers everything. The artist is Christoph, who takes us into the passion of his life, and his personality creates space for enjoyment and forgetting time – being in the here and now. This is art at its finest! You can't do better than that!!! All that remains is to say thank you for a wonderful evening!

22/06/2025: We were looking for a café in Algund on Google Maps and found Café Steinach to be a great choice. A quiet side street, a lovely outdoor seating area, and friendly service. Good quality coffee and cake (a wide selection) at fair prices. If you don't like cake, a Hugo is also a great option. We definitely recommend Café Steinach!

27/07/2025: Whether you sit in the rustic parlor, the modern dining room, or the beautiful terrace with its magnificent views of Algund and Merano, the Leiter am Waal offers fine dining. The wine list is excellent, and the attentive staff is always on hand to refill your glass. Espresso Martini and Negroni are available as aperitifs. The Wiener Schnitzel with roasted potatoes is particularly recommended on the menu. We were delighted and would gladly return!

24/07/2025: What more can I say? Anyone in Merano has to go here. We visited this restaurant twice in July 2025, and it was fantastic. The ambiance, the view, and the service are all superb. The food, featuring local specialties, is of a high standard. Our children wanted to come back for the fried potatoes alone. They were the best we've ever tasted. The wine list is divine for wine lovers. It's not cheap, of course, but it's absolutely reasonable for what you get.

15/07/2025: A selection of excellent beers, and the food is equally impressive. It's worth stopping in both the lovely garden in the summer and the beautiful pub/restaurant inside in the winter.

15/07/2025: Great spot with good food, beer, and service. Consistently good. Only the beer prices could be a bit cheaper, considering they're a brewery beer garden.

08/07/2025: We stayed at the Granny Apartment for ten days at the end of June 2025. A cozy, well-equipped apartment, well-maintained grounds, and warm service are important to us on our vacation. It couldn't have been better!

31/05/2025: We had a wonderful week at the Gapphof. Our dog was just as warmly welcomed as we were. The trusting, family-friendly atmosphere is particularly noteworthy! There are many small details, such as fresh fruit and herbs daily, a delicious breakfast bag, and a great selection of leisure activities (yoga mats, board games, etc.). The location is perfect for great hikes around Merano. We will definitely be back.

20/07/2025: A beautiful restaurant in the heart of Algund with a unique atmosphere. The greenery and awnings immediately put you in a vacation mood. The food was very good and plentiful. The friendly waiter had everything under control.

05/06/2025: This was our first time at the Thalguter Hof and we opted for an apartment, immediately booking again for next year :) I think that says it all: we felt comfortable there. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked, the entire team was very friendly, and we were delighted to be able to vacation there with our dog. We'd love to come back.
