08/11/2025: The real Florentine steak is here... the host and his staff are the best, 15 minutes from Siena, you can't miss it!!!! Spent the right amount too!! The fried rabbit is a must-try and the Torta della Nonna with cooked cream, raisins and pine nuts is amazing!! Highly recommended!!

03/08/2025: Booked 2 nights at Relais Le Macine di Stigliano with very short notice. It is only 20 minutes drive away from Siena, in a pretty and quiet location. The rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied (not always the case with Italian places). Staff was great, was super helpful when asking for tips and recommendations about restaurants and what to see. Very recommended!

12/10/2025: We had lunch by chance; we were in the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. All the dishes were truly delicious, and the staff were courteous and friendly.

18/08/2025: The restaurant is strategically located, close to the highway and easily accessible from many destinations. The pizza, quite thin and large, is very tasty and generously topped. Absolutely excellent value. I strongly advise against the appetizers, which are completely overpriced. Despite the high-quality ingredients, the portions are small.

09/11/2025: I've been a customer for over five years. I consider the family-run restaurant a guarantee. I tend to bring family, colleagues, and customers there, and each time, the owners receive compliments... in addition to increasing the number of customers. The food is excellent, and the service is a mix of kindness and friendliness. Dogs are welcome and welcome. I recommend the restaurant to those following a vegetarian or vegan diet because there are many options to suit all preferences.

19/10/2025: Terrible experience. We were turned away even though the restaurant was half empty. They only told us it was “fully booked” after realizing we spoke English — clearly they just didn’t want to deal with foreigners. The staff barely spoke English and couldn’t be bothered to even try. On top of that, the parking area is extremely steep and only suitable for small cars. Absolutely unwelcoming and disappointing. Avoid this place.

16/09/2025: We happened to pass by here and had a sandwich. The filling was freshly cut for us, and along with a delicious coffee, we had a wonderful lunch.

09/09/2025: I trusted the rumors, and I was right. I'd been hearing for a while that the pizza here was good, and I have to confirm it. The dough is the kind that makes you taste the difference: light, not sticky, but flavorful and crispy as it should be. The place is simple, without a lot of unnecessary frills, but it's clean and welcoming, and that's what matters. The food is good, the price is right. In a world full of smoke, here's the roast.

Solo e sempre pici, il dolce in misera porzione viene servito in una ciotolina di solito usata per gli assaggi delle confetture ,ma quello che mi ha innervosito e' stato quando al momento del conto, pur di non farmi uno sconto di 1.70 € mi hanno dato il resto a 90€ in monetineanche di 5 centesimi Il totale era 71.70 e io ho pagato con 90€. Il menù non corrisponde a quanto viene realmente offerto, alle ore 20,00 hanno già finito tutto o lo chef ha deciso di non preparare più quanto scritto nel menù!

Comparte platos para empezar, luego pasta tradicional y estofado de jabalí para la red. Terminamos con Helado para los niños y tiramisú - postre estilo adulto. Toda la experiencia fue encantadora, muy relajada y amable. Gracias por recibirnos! Tuvimos un paseo lento y completo de vuelta a nuestro lugar de estancia 🤭🫣 Mis fotos eran inútiles, pero el sabor de estos platos sencillos eran fabulosos!
