12/01/2026: I found this restaurant by chance and had a wonderful meal. The manager, Marcello, was incredibly friendly, and his sons were also very kind and friendly. The food was excellent, the service was fast and impeccable. If it were close to home, it would be my favorite restaurant!

15/02/2026: Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Il Grillo Moro for Valentine's Day, and it was truly an excellent experience in every way. The staff immediately proved to be extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, making every guest feel welcomed with great care. The food was simply excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor. A special mention goes to the tortelli al peposo, offered off-menu, which were simply out of this world. The restaurant is well-kept, elegant, and very welcoming, perfect for both a quiet dinner and special occasions. A restaurant that undoubtedly deserves its 5 stars: I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.

03/08/2025: Booked 2 nights at Relais Le Macine di Stigliano with very short notice. It is only 20 minutes drive away from Siena, in a pretty and quiet location. The rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and quiet. The pool area is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied (not always the case with Italian places). Staff was great, was super helpful when asking for tips and recommendations about restaurants and what to see. Very recommended!

29/11/2025: Wow, what amazing home style Italian food. This was everything we had hoped for in a restaurant here. The pasta was top notch, the tomato sauce was simple but unlike any sauce we’ve tasted before, and the meats were very good. Their wines were also amazing, so definitely do the wine tasting option. We cannot recommend this place enough.

20/11/2025: I visited this place after being recommended to me by my Airbnb host, and they did not disappoint! Service was excellent and friendly especially towards a tourist like myself. The vibes were great and the food was phenomenal. Worth a visit if you’re ever in Siena!

02/11/2025: The food was all really delicious, and the portions were good. The house wine was also very good. The price was fair for the quality.

08/01/2026: We stayed at the hotel next door and had dinner here. The place was very beautiful and well-appointed, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I broke a glass as soon as I arrived, but they were very kind in fixing it right away. My son's pasta with ragù was excellent, the tagliolini alla Pescatoria was very good, as were the cold cuts. Perhaps only the liver pâté was a bit "no." I had fried lamb chops, perhaps a little too breaded, but good! My cuttlefish and artichoke salad was excellent, and the tiramisu was perhaps one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended restaurant, everything was really good. The bill was also reasonable.

06/01/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, thanks in particular to the lovely Klerjan, who handled my requests with great care. I had the buffalo mozzarella pizza, which was truly exceptional!

07/03/2026: A family-run restaurant characterized by simplicity and authenticity, located in a quiet area with a beautiful view. Well-prepared dishes: try both the fried meat and vegetables and the spaghetti al colono. Reasonable prices.

15/01/2026: What an excellent place for a wonderful local dinner. Plenty of locals so you know it's trusted. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. The menu is very interesting, they do plenty of amazing dishes as well as great pizza. Fair prices, nice restaurant, a good place to eat!

08/02/2026: Very nice and welcoming place!! Despite the late hour, they welcomed us with their excellent products. We had a varied mixed platter and a good glass of wine served in a tiny room with a countryside view, which is a real treat!!! Everything was excellent, including the welcome!!

30/12/2025: The unexpected cafeteria and snack bar. We arrived by chance during a walk in the Tuscan countryside and were immediately welcomed with our boxer shorts. The dishes, including local ones, are expertly prepared with flavor and are certainly worthy of a restaurant, including the desserts at the end of the meal. The service is punctual and friendly. The vacation day was already beautiful; with La Pergola, we reached the top 🔝
