20/04/2025: An Exceptional Experience: Excellent Food, Abundance and Familiar Warmth! We returned to this place after many years for Easter lunch with the family.... à la carte menu. You can hear it immediately like at home, in a familiar and relaxed environment, perfect for enjoying a beautiful day. Every dish they served us was simply delicious exquisite, prepared with care and with quality raw materials. The portions were one very pleasant surprise: incredibly abundant! And not only that, the staff is refreshed more times between the tables to offer further tastings or "encores" of the courses, a generosity that is rarely seen found elsewhere and that made us feel truly pampered. Special praise goes to all the staff. The service was impeccable: attentive, fast, extremely kind and always, always with a sincere smile on their lips. You can perceive it passion for their work and attention to the customer. Their courtesy helped enormously to make our lunch perfect. In summary, an experience absolutely to be recommended. If you are looking for excellent food e.g plentiful, attentive and friendly service and an atmosphere that makes you feel welcome at home, this is the perfect place. We will definitely be back very soon!

20/04/2025: Siamo tornati in questo locale dopo tanti anni per il pranzo di Pasqua e in famiglia .... menù alla carta. Ci si sente subito come a casa, in un ambiente familiare e rilassato, perfetto per godersi una bella giornata. Ogni piatto che ci hanno servito era semplicemente squisito, preparato con cura e con materie prime di qualità. Le porzioni sono state una piacevolissima sorpresa: incredibilmente abbondanti! E non solo, il personale è ripassato più volte tra i tavoli per offrire ulteriori assaggi o "bis" delle portate, una generosità che raramente si trova altrove e che ci ha fatto sentire davvero coccolati. Un plauso speciale va a tutto lo staff. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: attenti, veloci, estremamente gentili e sempre, sempre con un sorriso sincero sulle labbra. Si percepisce la passione per il loro lavoro e l'attenzione verso il cliente. La loro cortesia ha contribuito enormemente a rendere il nostro pranzo perfetto. In sintesi, un'esperienza assolutamente da consigliare. Se cercate cibo eccellente e abbondante, un servizio attento e cordiale e un'atmosfera che vi faccia sentire benvenuti come a casa, questo è il posto perfetto. Torneremo sicuramente prestissimo!

10/05/2025: Starter with Tuscan capocollo and two slices of anonymous salami, irrelevant pecorino. The "normal" Ragù is much tastier than the one made with game meat, now the taste is a personal matter and therefore questionable, but so is charging €5 for a small beer in a bottle, you don't realize that, if a customer who was less than satisfied wanted to give a second chance by trying other foods, with this type of behaviour, he or she would never come again! Much better to stop at the bakery 30 MT before, at least they cut the cured meats before your eyes and a small beer costs an acceptable price (€3), for a place that serves food...

11/05/2025: Tuscan dinner with friends from Pietrabuona, my recommendation: pappardelle with hare ragù, bruschetta with bacon and beans, rib eye steak.

05/05/2025: Égal et excellent depuis des années.spécialiste de pâtes fraîches aux cèpes , les meilleurs antipasti de la région, J ai pris un mix de viandes frits’, Nous avons rajouté des artichauts frits Pour finit ,vu le repas, nous nous sommes contentés de cantucci trempés dans du vino santo .

25/05/2025: Delicious food. Unexpectedly a man got up from the other table and did an opera piece. Bravo. Italy is full of good surprises.

26/05/2025: The place is not too big, it has a veranda that can be used in the summer. I have dined in this restaurant several times with several friends, we have always chosen the fish menu ... very good. Favorite dish: spaghetti allo scoglio

10/04/2025: Super voor lunch! Je wordt vriendelijk en snel geholpen. Je krijgt goed Italiaans eten voor een hele goede prijs. Ik raad iedereen aan die in de buurt is hier de lunch te gebruiken.

26/02/2025: At Zaira only breakfast and lunch, but you can eat until 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Very good and plentiful express dishes, quick service and very kind waitresses. We must return to taste the desserts, which are many and all homemade, which we are told are the house specialty.

24/04/2025: Personale gentilissimo e attento, ottima qualità delle materie prime utilizzate. Ottima opzione per chi si trova nei dintorni per visitare il Parco di Pinocchio a Collodi.

21/04/2025: Oggi a pranzo sono stato, con la mia signora, da Nerone. Ottimo pranzo. Ambiente accogliente. Da tantissimi anni conosco questa trattoria, di nome, perchè quando si va a visitare uno dei paesi della Svizzera Pesciatina, le passiamo sempre davanti. Però non c'ero mai stato. Ho fatto un'esperienza piacevole in tutti i sensi. Ci tornerò molti volentieri. Vittorio Barbieri da Lucca.

30/05/2025: Fantastic view and delicious meat at Manero! I always come here when I want to treat myself to a typical dinner, enjoying the breathtaking view of the valley that characterizes the place. Recommended for a special lunch or dinner! I obviously recommend booking and asking for a seat near the window!

04/05/2025: We had really difficult day, but going to Paolo’s place saved our evening. Everything there was fantastic. Simple and really traditional. We had a pleasure to eat and enjoy the whole time there. Kids ate everything! (Also got beautiful plates) We had great pizza on exceptional traditional thin dough and also super great dolci - small pizza like thing with Nutella, Tartuffo and Fondant. Coffee was amazing, grappa and limoncello as well. We could not imagine better evening. Really thank you Paolo and the whole Team! ❤️
