20/08/2025: Simply a horrible experience. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by rude and surly staff who seemed annoyed. The worst part was the terrible quality of the food in every way. A horrific experience. And I strongly advise against it. Avoid going or buying anything from this horrible place.

25/07/2025: A casual restaurant offering quality dishes, specializing in wood-fired, free-range, antibiotic-free chicken, served in generous, tasty portions. The rotisserie offers a wide range of options: not only whole or portioned chicken, but also pasta dishes like lasagna, gnocchi, chicken parcels, finger foods, and side dishes like roast potatoes, caponata, or grilled vegetables. Friendly staff and efficient service. Excellent value.

We chose the blind tasting and it was one surprise after another! What can I say, a perfect evening, a true culinary treat! 28/09/2025: The place is very beautiful and well-kept. The service is attentive, professional, and the timing is more than right. As for the food, unfortunately, after an excellent start, the quality gradually declined. The entrees, with homemade breads, butter, and three truly interesting tastings, were very welcome. The three standard dishes had two main problems: - the small portions. We left hungry despite having three courses plus a dessert, in addition to the initial freebies. The main course had no side dish (a potato slice). The appetizer was half a Portobello mushroom, with the stem removed. Too small. We also noticed unintentional portion differences (especially for the first course and dessert) between different diners. - the courses (first and second courses) arrived cold. The dish was cold, the sauce poured over it was barely warm, which meant that after two bites the dish was objectively cold. Too bad. We had high expectations, but unfortunately, it was a decline. We'll try it again.

09/10/2025: The interior showcases Mexican style in an interesting way. My personal suggestion for improvement is that the booths as you enter should be more decorated and not empty. The food overall reflects Mexico very well. The service was friendly but could perhaps be a little quicker. The bill was fair, as I expected. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience this culinary style.

09/10/2025: The location is a bit bare from the outside and overlooks the street; inside, it's nicely decorated, though it could be improved. The main course on the menu was very interesting. The service was clear and well-presented. The bill was reasonable.

06/11/2025: Excellent dough! Then there's plenty to choose from for vegan friends, too. I sometimes choose vegan, partly because I have lactose issues and partly to keep my vegetarian friends company, who until now could only get the marinara. The problem is the vastness of the menu 🤪 Anyway, tonight I had the vegan pioppini pizza. I honestly didn't expect it to be as smooth as the other pizzas, delicious! Plus, my friend was able to get dessert, which has never happened before. We'll be back, and next time I'll be able to skip the lactose pill 👍👍👍 Cute and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service.

24/09/2025: Excellent pizza! They also have a cheese menu for tastings or to customize your pizza. The only flaw is the coffee, which is poor.

22/09/2025: We had a great time at this roadside restaurant, which doesn't look like much at first glance. We were the only women there, along with the waitress (adorable and very helpful, who bent over backwards to find a dish that suited my intolerances), and we could tell the men there were amused to see us, tourists, a little "lost" in this small restaurant full of regulars. The food was delicious, plentiful, and fresh, the atmosphere very rustic and authentic, and the bill surprised us: €21 for two dishes, a huge mixed salad for two people, a beer, a bottle of water, and cutlery. I highly recommend it 🙌🏻

20/09/2025: Historic trattoria in Gello. Excellent for a quick business lunch. Good food, fast service, extensive menu on the legendary blackboard, fair prices, and... What can I say? A classic if you're in the area. A true trattoria. You can tell by the people who have been coming here forever. I've stopped there often over the years. They're always good.

05/11/2025: It's the best pizza in the area. I've only tried two types of dough, and I'm really curious to try them all. Amazing!

20/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we decided to stop for a quick dinner. The place was cozy, the pizza was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

12/08/2025: I recommend changing the air conditioning. With these abnormal temperatures, a place that's in the sun all day, with glass walls... small... I highly recommend it. A few more precautions. Also, it's a bit expensive. We're in Pontedera on the main street, not Viareggio!!!!

04/11/2025: This pizzeria serves "atomic" cecina, which is what they're famous for, but the wood-fired pizza (special) truly highlights Gino and his wife's expertise. Their kindness, empathy, helpfulness, and cleanliness make their pizzeria a "real" one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! CONGRATULATIONS!

31/10/2025: The pizza isn't bad, although I didn't really like it. I had the one they call "La Pisana," with capers, anchovies, and grated cheese. The place is small and has a lot of tables, perhaps too many, so it gets crowded. However, the three people who work there are really good, because when I was there, it was packed. You have to stop by, even if just out of curiosity, and then... it's up to you.

02/10/2025: The owner rejected us right at the entrance saying they were fully booked when the place was empty! We stopped by the restaurant one hour later and there was only one table taken. The owner rejected us because we had a dog and a baby. Disgusting attitude. Worst treatment in the whole Region of Tuscany. You’ll see the dumb and unashamedly response from the owner at the bottom. What a clown. Stay away
