16/07/2026: I often find myself in this area as I had already posted and I returned to this beautiful place and by chance I always serve Sara but tonight I discovered that she is a young girl and this flatters her a lot because she is very professional. Excellent food highly recommended

It's the classic bar where you immediately feel at home, perfect for a well-deserved break. Highly recommended!

21/04/2026: It appears to be a five-star establishment, both for the ambiance and the truly well-stocked wine cellar.
Sit down and experience this place in more detail, and you'll appreciate a very extensive but somewhat overpriced wine list, a limited and not particularly high-quality culinary offering, and above all, a somewhat confusing communication style. I'd read about set menus on the website, but once we arrived at the restaurant, they turned out to be reserved only for large groups.
It's a shame, there's great potential that hasn't been fully exploited.
16/03/2026: The cheesecake was truly awful: a hard, flavorless base, a kilometer high, with a ton of berries on top and a millimeter of cream from the bags in the middle. Five euros thrown in the bin.

11/04/2026: We had dinner this evening for two. The service was good, but the price was definitely exorbitant. One pizza in particular cost €19 (it had broccoli rabe cream, stracciatella, sausage, and a tarallo). The pizza wasn't bad, but it was extremely overpriced. The price wasn't listed on the menu. It's absurd; we won't be back.

29/06/2026: Absolutely the best Italian meal we’ve ever had. As someone with coeliac disease, eating out can be stressful, but Fornaterro Pizzeria made it effortless. They have separate kitchens and almost everything can be made gluten free, which made us feel completely comfortable. They even gave us a new pizza box with a gluten free sticker on it to make sure there was no cross contamination.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was outstanding, hands down the best pizza and tiramisu we’ve ever had.
You can really feel the passion and hospitality here.
Highly recommend, whether you’re gluten free or not!

03/05/2026: Six stars for the kindness of Grandma and Daughter, for the atmosphere, and also for the traditional/authentic food.
We, two Finns, spent a week in Ponsacco cycling through the Tuscan hills (which were also beautiful...). We wanted to eat simple, typical dishes of the area, food like home-made. Da Chiara was the perfect place to do it! We haven't found another place like it. The pasta was really good... We wanted to bring Grandma with us to Finlandia, but we weren't able to. 😉

29/04/2026: Ended up here by chance during a rush visit to the optician. It feels like you're allowed to pull up a chair in their living room! Friendly, cozy, and above all: the best pizza of the entire Tuscany holiday! We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

31/05/2026: I came for an important conference, so only for one day, so I can only speak about the truly stunning location. Beautiful building, elegant, relaxing atmosphere, everything very well-kept. The pool is lovely, not very big, but has surrounding porticos that create pleasant shade, with loungers... I hope to return to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the beauty! 😍

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner in a casual setting. Everything was delicious and plentiful. We had a great time.
20/12/2025: Hi, before writing this review I waited until I went a second time... the menu isn't that great, there's no choice, the prices are quite high, and the food... I personally didn't like anything. They don't even open the wine for you at the table, they open it behind you, which isn't good. Management has changed, and it shows. I hope they change something for them.
