01/10/2025: I had lunch with my husband and on top of that the waiting times were very long, the food arrived all cold and a little inside the grill on top of the potatoes... we spent a fortune and we didn't even eat well... I will never go back again and I don't even recommend it!!!

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!

10/08/2025: The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.

18/11/2025: Finally, a classy place in Viareggio (and there aren't any others like it), with great music and a friendly atmosphere! Their drinks are excellent and the service is excellent! Yesterday, I ordered a "capri" (a drink they created), which I highly recommend and which they gave me a detailed explanation of! With my drink, they brought me a generous bowl of chips and a tray of delicious appetizers!

16/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to come here. The staff are all very kind and always attentive to providing excellent service. The aperitivo is a must. Excellent cocktails, and the pinsa and costoni are delicious. It's undoubtedly the best in the area. The breakfast pastries are also delicious.

08/06/2025: Really great restaurant. Spaghetti with clams and very good fried food. Really friendly staff.

31/07/2025: 4 excellent pizzas, the seafood one was superb. We really had a great time.

20/10/2025: Terrible lunch. There were two of us; we ordered a super clam (x2) and a mixed fried fish. More than 40 minutes after ordering, the spaghetti arrived. Most likely, the pasta water hadn't been salted, and the clams were 100% defrosted. Next came the mixed fried fish... among the worst I've ever eaten. It was soaked in oil.

19/10/2025: Two hours to eat a first course... pasta allo scogio full of sand and we found a piece of plastic inside... terrible service for sure the first and last time

19/08/2025: After an afternoon at the beach, we stopped for dinner. It was a lovely surprise; we dined by the sea. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the seafood risotto was truly excellent. I'm giving it 5 stars and looking forward to another dinner to try other dishes.

15/08/2025: What a shame. The staff was kind, but the kitchen was out of order on August 15th. The menu had a choice of three appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses, and it was unbearable. Arriving at 12:30, we ate the last course at 3:00 PM. The ingredients were frozen. The staff, though very embarrassed, were kind. With those ingredients and that service (meaning the kitchen) it was expensive even at half the price. What do I know? I eat at restaurants for lunch and dinner every day and have even worked in the industry. 2 out of 3 diners reluctantly gave up their second course. I had to apologize to my guests. #SHAME

08/11/2025: The Margherita pizza is delicious, their signature dish. The focaccia and cecina are also excellent. I'm not crazy about the other pizzas with different flavors. A few more smiles and words wouldn't hurt; it almost seems like you're making them feel bad about eating there...🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

05/10/2025: I ordered two triangles of pizza and two triangles of focaccia with two beers for €22. A disgrace. The receipt was for €2, so I had to go back and ask them to re-issue it.

Family-run, with experienced staff who are the custodians of the vibrant lifestyle, they speak European languages ​​and, with kind expertise and experience, guide guests through the spacious dining rooms to the most suitable location for lunch or dinner. Diners are also advised to sample the best of the two menus: the daily menu and the regular special. The two menus are interconnected by the wine list and pizza menu. Each dish can be accompanied by freshly baked schiacciata or fresh bread. The location is a bridge between the sea, the seaside promenade, and the construction site.

09/11/2025: We ate here the day before yesterday and we had a great time, the mixed fried fish was excellent, the service I would say was excellent, the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, number 1 on the Viareggio seafront, I highly recommend it, I will definitely be back

16/08/2025: Last night, August 15th, an evening to forget. The service was very poor and unskilled. We ordered three starters and two fried dishes. We waited 4 hours, constantly asking for faster service, but they didn't even bother. We ended up without dessert or coffee because the waiters had disappeared. Crazy stuff. We even glimpsed the owner at the back of the register. A very negative experience.

01/08/2025: Il peggior spaghetto allo scoglio mai mangiato. Pasta stracotta, insipida e pesce immangiabile. Abbiamo ordinato 4 spaghetti allo scoglio e gli spaghetti erano stracotti e le cozze vecchie. Abbiamo fatto rifare ( il titolare non ha battuto ciglio come lo sapesse) ed anche questo secondo piatto è risultato immangiabile, confermando che il cuoco dovrebbe cambiare lavoro. Sconsigliato.

20/09/2025: DIRTY, OLD, DISGUSTING We had a suite that was so dirty that we were offered a new one. This one, too, was DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. The pictures were falling off the wall, the shower was leaking so that after a shower, the entire room was wet!! Absolutely NOT 4 STARS!!! No goodwill from the hotel... they said someone would be right there with silicone for the shower... NEVER AGAIN!! The restaurant apparently closes at 10 PM... unfortunately, it also closed at 9 PM!!

20/09/2025: "Four stars? More like four nightmares." €600 for three nights, and I'm seriously wondering what it's for. Even at check-in: dirty towels, hair in the shower, half-empty minibar – thanks for nothing. Changing rooms? No good. In the "new" room, pictures are falling off the wall, the shower turns the bathroom into a paddling pool, the air conditioning is dead, and the curtains are broken. Breakfast? A gas station croissant has more charm. Dirty cutlery, staff with a permanently annoyed look, and room service shows up at 8 a.m. as if it were their own room. Conclusion: This "4-star hotel" is an expensive joke. Every youth hostel here is pure luxury.

28/10/2025: The owners and the place are fantastic. The food is amazing!!!! I highly recommend it!

27/09/2025: In the pine forest to the west of Viareggio. Away from the chaos of the main avenue. Nice, well-kept place, and friendly staff.

11/10/2025: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who described it as a simple yet authentic place, with generous portions and fair prices. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite. The place is modest, a bit old-fashioned from the '70s and '80s, and we entered with the best of intentions. I even joked with the waiter, asking if the portions were really large, and he assured me they were "generous." Too bad that wasn't true. The house appetizer consisted of three tiny samples, clearly prepared some time ago. The grilled fish didn't even weigh 150 grams—including the shrimp carcasses—and the sea bream all'isolana was perhaps 100 grams of real fish. The zucchini served on the side were sour, probably cooked in poor-quality white wine: I, who am usually not picky, couldn't eat them. Final bill: €60, without wine, just a bottle of still water. Overall, a disappointing experience in every way. A place to forget.

04/10/2025: Charming restaurant. Delicious antipasti. Delicious fish dishes. Pleasant white wine. Extremely friendly and efficient service. Everything was excellent.

09/11/2025: We have been going there for many years and I have to say, unfortunately, that lately the quality of the food has gotten much worse.

01/11/2025: Dining here is like listening to a smart student being tested, but only trying when he wants to. The meat is delicious, tender, juicy, and flavorful. The salad is plain and lacks salt and pepper. The onion rings are crispy. The fries are soft. The fried chicken is juicy. The burger is dry and lacks sauce, with a flimsy bun. The atmosphere is well-organized, but the tables aren't very clean, and neither are the chairs. Postponed until September, I don't think we'll be back.
