The food is average, overpriced, and the service is terrible.
The desserts are good, and the dessert dueo is good.

Breakfast is very good and reasonably priced, but we were disappointed in the evening. The prices were high, the portions small, and while the food tasted good, it was nothing special. It was annoying that the waiter came by every two minutes and stared at the table, so we couldn't have any peace. I'd gladly come back for breakfast, but otherwise, Fappani isn't worth the money. The location and surroundings, however, are wonderful.

We went for breakfast; it offers a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The staff was very friendly. We ordered two cappuccinos, and they were really, really good! And for the price, I'd say it's about right, at €1.50 per cappuccino. That's normal. The croissants, which are from a bakery, are €2.20, but that's the same as at all the other cafes. So, it's not outrageously expensive. They don't serve outside tables until 11:00, but that certainly wasn't a problem. I'll definitely be back!

A beautiful pastry shop in a stunning location, on the promenade, close to the clock tower. But: totally disorganized, 5-6 people working there but only one serving at the counter, with endless lines. Quality: excellent cream puff pastry, but a cream croissant that was absolutely inadequate, hard and thinly filled. And for €2.20, it's not good, absolutely not!

Excellent for
breakfast, snacks, and aperitifs. Excellent vegan croissants. The rice pudding is delicious. We didn't eat dinner or lunch. Good value. Nice place, a terrace
with tables and sofas. My favorite bar on the Viareggio seafront.

T o be fair, we got there within 35 min of the kitchen closing and there was an effort to take care of us and close for the midday.
The antipasto of baby octopus, salt cod was very good. My grilled octopus secondi was so tender and the portion was very generous.
The wine offering was very good
The location along the beach was lovely.

Had a couple of drinks in the sunshine - location looking over the beach can't be beaten however the staff member we had was a little rude and the Margarita was not the best. Didn't eat here as we were there when kitchen was closed so can't comment on that. Drinks were reasonably priced but you get what you pay for.

It's one of the best pastry shops, and you can also find a wide selection of vegan pastries for breakfast. The coffee is good ☕️. The staff is friendly and fast.
The atmosphere is very elegant and refined. The prices are above average.
