29/12/2025: Excellent breakfasts and good sweets at reception.

02/12/2025: Very nice and clean rooms. Wonderful location. Breakfast was top-notch. It's a shame that the pool is only indoor and not heated (as we were told over the phone) and therefore unusable in November. The hot tub and spa are very small but nice. The morning of check-out, the cleaning ladies knocked on our door and, upon our "who's there?", came in anyway, finding us changing, which was in terrible taste. Overall, a pleasant stay, but I wouldn't return.

07/12/2025: In a word: “no dogs”! While we were having dinner (so to speak), a rat as big as a cat ran over our heads!

05/12/2025: Welcoming and tidy place. Excellent aperitif, excellent quality seafood lunch.

20/10/2025: We stopped, drawn by the colorful tables and chairs. Then we entered the pastry shop and were greeted with that typical Sicilian welcome. The ricotta reminded us of the one from Palazzolo, but less sweet, just the way we like it. When we return, it'll be a regular stop! Thanks from the Romans!

07/10/2025: Love this shop. The apartment we were staying in didn't even have a coffee pot. This shop was just a block and a half away, and we ended up having coffee and pastries there every morning for a week. The ricotta filling was truly Sicilian. The owner and staff were friendly and fun.

29/09/2025: If you are from out of the country, make a detour to this place. They are wonderful, the food is delicious (and fast!), and they will make sure you have a great time.

11/10/2025: Well-executed traditional cuisine. The homemade tagliolini with truffles is excellent. The salt-baked fish is delicious. Interesting wine list. Efficient service.

08/12/2025: If you're not looking for style, you can eat well here and spend a fair amount. Nestled in the pine forest. One appetizer, two main courses, two beers, and one coffee: €40.

01/01/2026: We received a very unfriendly welcome. My husband was ready to leave. With a groan, as if it were only when necessary, we were shown to our table. The dark-skinned lady was quite sweet, but unfortunately, she didn't speak English. The other two waitresses were incredibly rude. Was it because we were foreigners? She could laugh with the locals, too. The menu was thrown onto the table. Unfortunately, we had already ordered drinks. We were looked at as if we were about to be murdered. The food wasn't great either. I had a pizza. It looked good, but it was watery, soggy, and tasted only of tomatoes. While we were still eating, the plates were simply cleared away. My husband would have liked to have the rest of the fish. I ended up leaving half the pizza. When we paid, we were given more hostile looks. Ah yes, the ambiance. It was just crammed in. We were allowed to sit down at first, but as soon as the drinks arrived, we had to get up and move to a different seat so that even more people could fit into the small space. And all this was done in a rude tone. Extreme xenophobia. Find somewhere else. The waitresses were completely unmotivated, and they were hostile and incredibly rude to foreigners. I can't believe I paid for this. Never again! We should have left right at the beginning.

08/12/2025: I'm leaving five stars, like the euros—five, to be precise—that a spritz (even a fairly good one) costs here! These days, it almost seems like a gift given the prices around!

07/11/2025: Sorry, but we had lunch yesterday for two. The spaghetti was precooked and overcooked with seafood... it tasted like it was in a hospital cafeteria... the second course was a poorly cooked mixed fry... it tasted too much like used oil... 6 euros for the cover charge... We had already been to this place months ago, but it wasn't that bad...

The most serious issue was hygiene: I noticed little attention to cleanliness and disinfection during food preparation, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. I strongly advise against this establishment due to its quality, service, and hygiene standards. I will not return, nor do I recommend it to anyone. Extremely negative experience. 02/12/2025: After fishing in Viareggio I often stop for fried chicken.

19/10/2025: I asked the waitress if it was possible to split the bill, and she said yes. At the counter, I reiterated my desire to split the bill (so the total divided by 2, very simple) and specified that I wanted to pay in cash. In a very pedantic and impolite manner, the cashier said, "If you could tell me how many of you there are..." when two minutes earlier he had personally said we could split, and there were only two of us in front of the counter, which didn't imply there were more than one of us. Perhaps a little politeness and kindness wouldn't hurt, since I expressed my request very politely. A smile doesn't cost much, and politeness even less. :)

29/09/2025: Excellent bar, wonderful food, especially the two chefs, Carmine and Angie, who were very kind. When I asked about the menu, the seafood carbonara was excellent. I will definitely be back.

04/01/2026: Tasty, quick, and atmospheric. I don't know why they have such low ratings. For me, it was perfect, the octopus was spot on and the pizza was perfect. I recommend it!!!

26/10/2025: I ordered the pizzas on Just Eat. I'd never had pizza from them before, but... IT WAS DELICIOUS! Obviously, it's a matter of taste, but I was very pleased. The pizza was tasty, cooked to perfection, and had a lot of toppings. The only problem was that the large pan pizza wasn't quite for three people, as advertised on Just Eat... we were just a little disappointed about that, but otherwise, it was great.

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!

10/08/2025: The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.
