25/03/2026: A surreal and deeply irritating experience. Everything was going well until I asked for cheese to add to the risotto (which was already frozen). As soon as I added it, it gave off an extremely acidic smell and taste. I politely pointed out the problem to the waiter, hoping for a quick resolution. Instead of an apology, I received an irritated response: "It's just been opened." The worst, however, came with the owner. Instead of apologizing or checking the quality of the product, she approached the table visibly upset, verbally attacking me, accusing me of saying the cheese was "rotten" (a word she never used), arrogantly reiterating that the product was good and that the problem was my palate. Despite my attempts to calmly explain that even a freshly opened package can be tainted, the owner continued to yell at me, raising her voice in front of the other customers. An aggressive, rude, and totally unprofessional attitude. Final result: • No offer to remake the dish. • No discount or chargeback. • A gratuitous public humiliation for daring to report a poor service. If you're looking for a place where the customer is always wrong and treated with hostility, go ahead. As far as I'm concerned, harmony and respect for those who pay are something else entirely. Highly discouraged.

05/04/2026: Bagno Viareggio, next to the dock. Easter lunch with a dedicated menu featuring a single appetizer, a choice of three first courses, and two second courses. Small kitchen but a skilled chef. Two appetizers, one first course, one second course, two glasses of wine, and water. A children's menu of pasta with tomato sauce and French fries included €109, considering it was Easter. The food was honest and, above all, everything was delicious. The atmosphere was under construction but discreet, right on the beach. There were a few tables under the veranda, others outside, but overall, it was okay. The excellent food played a major role: the fish steak was truly excellent and a nice, generous plate (in the photo, I had already taken a couple of bites). I tried the red mullet paccheri, which were also delicious.

07/03/2026: The best ever experience, tastiest pizza with an extraordinary tomato sauce in the world and the most original chef. We stayed in Viareggio in August 2025 and still remember the unforgettable flavour!

01/11/2025: We went here for seafood. Once we arrived, the lady listed the various options without giving us a paper menu, so the price was completely surprising... The three of us spent €130 for three seafood appetizers and three seafood pasta dishes. The seafood was good, but the fried cod in the appetizer was still frozen.

07/09/2025: We were at Chiatona in the open air, the service was impeccable, with a simple trailer transformed into a mini pizzeria, fantastic, with the lady, the wife of Mr. Tagariello, really good, very friendly, and we will return, to Massafra

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!

10/08/2025: The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.

09/03/2026: Saturday night, Carnival night and Valentine's Day together, very courteous and available service to accommodate my requests, excellent music, especially 80's/90's

23/12/2025: I went for a drink that evening with my friends. There were 20 of us when we arrived, and 13 of us ordered drinks. The others were forced to have something (other than water) because the place (after accepting the reservation, given the large number of people) was open only for us. €6 for a Coke and €2.50 for a half-liter of water, with no platters or anything. Very disappointed; it was a place I really liked. I understand that staying open on a Monday in winter is difficult to recoup, but it can't be passed on to the customers, since the reservation had been confirmed.

23/12/2025: LEGALIZED THEFT. Paying €6 for a Coke in December seems excessive to me. A table of several people forced to order because they were the only ones in the cafeteria. Impossible to order just a bottle of water because it's too cheap for the shopkeeper. BUT €2.50 for 0.5L of water is theft.

07/03/2026: Disaster. Everything was frozen, including the cutlet.

28/03/2026: Let's start by saying that they put the rich ones backwards (3 boxes) without a fork and they were disgusting, the sandwich was almost edible but there wasn't even a handkerchief, I don't know what you Viareggio people clean themselves with, (Montecatini is much better)

22/03/2026: This is the second time I've ordered and I get things that are either wrong or different. I understand everything, but it seems abnormal to me. I hope you do something, a free gift, a small discount, but just to be honest and sincere.

19/02/2026: My girlfriend and I had lunch today and it was wonderful... Valentina was very kind and attentive to our every need... we took her advice, ate very well and really spent the right amount... everything was perfect...

10/02/2026: Unfortunately, I ended up with a group of tourists at this restaurant (!), which is as modest and patchy as its cuisine. The food was pre-cooked and/or frozen, and if not, it certainly tasted and had the right texture. The atmosphere was meant to be rustic, but it was simply shabby and unwelcoming. Unworthy of existing on Tuscan soil: even the bread was awful.

22/02/2026: Terrible experience. We waited in line for about half an hour to be seated, about 40 minutes for our order to be taken, and the same amount for the food to arrive. They were also out of fried food, so we ordered the super clam for two. The pasta was tasteless and the portions were small. The location definitely needs improvement. The price was also high for what we ate.

04/01/2026: 2 mixed fried foods + chips... I digested them after 10 hours and the quality of the fried food wasn't that great... I had high expectations which unfortunately were disappointed.

31/10/2025: Mamma Mia isn't just a club, it's "the club" where there's everything: music, fun, transgression, and lots and lots of people. It's quiet in the summer, but even off-season, fun is guaranteed. It's not for potheads, but for people who want to have fun without breaking the rules.

19/08/2025: After an afternoon at the beach, we stopped for dinner. It was a lovely surprise; we dined by the sea. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the seafood risotto was truly excellent. I'm giving it 5 stars and looking forward to another dinner to try other dishes.

15/08/2025: What a shame. The staff was kind, but the kitchen was out of order on August 15th. The menu had a choice of three appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses, and it was unbearable. Arriving at 12:30, we ate the last course at 3:00 PM. The ingredients were frozen. The staff, though very embarrassed, were kind. With those ingredients and that service (meaning the kitchen) it was expensive even at half the price. What do I know? I eat at restaurants for lunch and dinner every day and have even worked in the industry. 2 out of 3 diners reluctantly gave up their second course. I had to apologize to my guests. #SHAME
