25/07/2024: It is located in one of the most beautiful streets of Pietrasanta, in the historic center. We wanted to have breakfast under the sky covered with umbrellas and so we stopped in this bar for the first time. We loved it both for the location and for the breakfast. Every time we returned to Pietrasanta, since we liked it a lot and had a great time, we had breakfast here. We also brought other friends of ours, certain that we would make a good impression on them as they were our guests. I saw that they are also a pizzeria so we will definitely be sure to try the pizza. Despite being in a central street, the outdoor tables have the right amount of space to be comfortable: We even had a good time there with our dog and our friend's dog. There are also tables inside but we always prefer to sit outside under the sky covered by umbrellas. The outdoor tables are however covered by the restaurant's umbrellas, so they are always in the shade, creating a pleasant environment without being under the heat of the sun. The staff is always kind, welcoming, smiling and ready to satisfy customers' needs.

20/08/2024: The restaurant is very nice. Service is also very good. The cuisine is the same as in all other 50 restaurants in Pietrasanta. A touch of tradition meets what tourists love to eat. A bit of fish, porcini mushrooms, tordelli, wild boar etc., nothing wrong but nothing special either.

07/07/2024: It is a historic Lucca bar-restaurant hidden in a recess of Via Strettoia. The interior reflects the standard of out-of-town trattorias, while the outside, to be enjoyed especially in summer, is a corner of peace and tranquility set up in a rustic but not banal way. In the kitchen there is the one woman band Filomena known as Filù, who prepares her dishes from the kitchen to the wood oven. The menu is fixed at €30 and is made up of a series of typical appetizers (spelt, vegetable pies, anchovies, meatloaf, baked focaccia, tomato soup, etc.) which are overall good, from the homemade tordelli to the ragù ( fiscreti but in my opinion I have tasted better ones nearby, while the ragù is truly remarkable) and finally roast chicken and meat with potatoes (good quality of the raw materials). The portions are fair but not as generous as you would expect in a menu of this type. Modest house wine. A recommendation and applause that I sincerely feel like giving is for the two guys who took care of the service. It is difficult these days and especially in places of this type to find young staff as kind, thoughtful, prepared and attentive as these two guys who support Filù. Well done, keep it up.

13/06/2024: Stopped here on instinct to have something to eat and drink in the evening." Only pasta!" She the lady in the kitchen. Wine a la cava? Only red! What we got: A delicious faccacia and then a delicious local pasta and a bottle of wine. You can't get more authentic in Italy.

18/08/2024: Very pleasant environment and truly delicious food, I recommend the tagliatelle with potatoes. Furthermore, the desserts are really good (I tried the delicious tart)

17/08/2024: SIN As soon as you arrive you feel like you've discovered the classic rustic place where the quality/price ratio is excellent. The menu is intriguing but unfortunately the quality and preparations leave something to be desired. Service can sincerely be improved. The suggestion is to pay much more attention to the preparations and training of staff. The lady at the checkout reflects the place, disinterested and very unwelcoming. Really unfortunate

29/06/2024: Delicious food. We are vegetarian and the eggplant pasta was exceptional. Service was also exceptional. SO nice to have great dining experience with no attitude!! We have visited PietraSanta over 20 years. Not easy to find a very low key no attitude dining experience with deeeelicious food and service.

19/08/2024: Terrible! We called to kindly ask them to bring forward the dinner time and were told, in a very confusing manner, that they couldn't serve us because it was raining; and since we were at the bottom of their reservation list, we had no right to have a table. If we hadn't bothered to call, we would have arrived there without the possibility of being able to eat. In response to our amazement, they insisted that they did not have our number, which was not true as it was left during the booking. Rudeness is the worst business card!
