02/08/2026: We finally had dinner at this magnificent place, everything was perfect. The dishes are a perfect blend of flavors and ingredients. They're a surprise in every sense, given that they're chosen by the chef. Beautiful location, quiet and refined atmosphere, courteous and knowledgeable staff.

03/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal in a beautiful place. The two young men who served us were both very kind and hospitable. We waited a long time because over an hour had passed since we got to the appetizers, but they had warned us right away that we shouldn't rush. However, the beauty of the place and the holiday atmosphere made it easy on us. The price was a bit steep for what we ate, considering we didn't even order a bottle of wine, but two glasses. At the end, they offered us two liqueurs. Unfortunately, it's not affordable for frequent dining, but definitely worth a visit for a treat every now and then.

The wait was reasonable, and all our dishes arrived at the same time, even though we had ordered several dishes. Unfortunately, we weren't able to book a table outside, which would have enhanced the already very positive aspects of the place... Highly recommended!

12/08/2026: Truly beautiful atmosphere. The waiters were all very competent and kind, except for one young man who was probably just learning. He made several mistakes, such as continuing to refill a breastfeeding woman's glass even though we'd told him not to, so the contents had to be poured from her glass into mine. He brought my daughter the wrong dessert because he memorized the order, doubled the knives, etc., etc. However, we didn't complain because the other waiters were very good to us. The food was very good, perhaps a bit too linear in some dishes, but I would return.

19/07/2026: A real gem! 🌿 The setting is magnificent, surrounded by nature, with a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. The owners are very welcoming and we received a warm and friendly welcome. We ate very well, with high-quality products, all sourced from their farm (flour, meat, etc.). This is evident in the flavors and makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful place that we happily recommend!

15/07/2026: Anyone seeking authentic Italy will find it here. Agriturismo Il Palazzotto isn't your average restaurant; it's a place with heart and soul. It's run by a charming older couple – the husband attentively attends to the guests, while his wife passionately cooks in the kitchen. There are only a few tables, which gives the place an incredibly intimate and cozy atmosphere. You feel more like you're on the terrace of an Italian holiday apartment at a friend's house than in a restaurant. Add to that the beautiful hilltop location with its stunning views of the surrounding countryside – simply breathtaking. There's practically no menu. Instead, the daily specials are displayed on a chalkboard, depending on what's fresh and available. Many ingredients come from their own garden, and much is homemade: tomatoes, ham, wine, and much more. This is precisely what gives the place its special charm. The food was excellent – ​​honest, fresh, authentic, and prepared with so much love. This is what you imagine Italian home cooking to be like. Although the hosts only speak Italian, communication always works out somehow, and that's what makes the experience even more authentic. We were particularly impressed by the excellent value for money. For the quality, the freshness of the products, and the unique atmosphere, the prices are more than fair. An incredibly warm and welcoming couple, fantastic food, and an atmosphere that is rare to find these days. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back. 11/08/2026: The staff was very kind, helpful, and professional, helping to create a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't fully meet our expectations: the meat, considering the high standards of Tuscan cuisine, was below our expectations, while the pasta was slightly undercooked. Overall, excellent service, but the cuisine could be improved.

11/08/2026: Two-tier dining and the all-in-one toilet: The complete Tuscan trauma Attention, a safety warning in advance: Anyone who dares to even glance at the lower entrance door without any prior knowledge will be intercepted by the staff faster than a camper van in a nature reserve. This area seems to be the strictly guarded, sacred refuge for locals. For paying tourists: No entry! You will be immediately summoned back to the designated milking zone with a mixture of shock and indignation. The staff operates with the infectious enthusiasm of a law enforcement officer issuing fines. Completely emotionless, silent, and consistently devoid of hospitality. The food is technically okay, but just as soullessly and carelessly slapped onto the plate as the service. The preparation probably has the emotional depth of a microwave oven instruction manual. The real feat, however, is the billing: For this culinary vacuum, they charge prices that would at least allow you to enter through the main entrance. The absolute masterpiece of business management awaits you in the restroom. The toilet is clean, at least! – but a logistical kamikaze project: exactly one toilet for all the men, all the women, and a changing table at the same time. This isn't a bathroom, it's a Swiss Army knife of a room. While half the tour group outside is hopping from one foot to the other with their legs crossed, inside, diapers are being changed in perfect calm. Italian efficiency! In short: If you enjoy the VIP experience of being whistled back from forbidden doors by exasperated staff, only to then have to eat overpriced bland food and join a massive queue for the universal toilet, you'll love this place.

01/08/2026: Even after the appetizer, we can say – outstanding! The gnocchi with ricotta/tartufo and/or tagliatelle with mussels are highly recommended. The spigola sandwich for the main course was truly superb. We can also highly recommend the dessert.

10/08/2026: Very nice place, excellent food, and a cool atmosphere, which is not always a given in this heat (August 2026). We had an excellent bottle of local red (N'Etrusco) at a fair price. We'll be back :)

The standout feature has to be the staff—they were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a huge difference and added so much to the evening. ​The setting is absolutely brilliant and it has a lovely, lively atmosphere. On top of that, it offers fantastic value for money. The food was good, but it’s the wonderful hospitality and great vibe that really make this spot worth a visit. Highly recommended!

03/07/2026: We were looking for a restaurant with local food, somewhere less touristy, and reasonably priced. Torrione exceeded our expectations. Good-quality cuisine, fresh ingredients, and home-cooked dishes, without the pretence of overdoing it. We had the mussel soup, the tuna and sea bream fillet, and the fresh seafood spaghetti. The price is fair, with attentive and super-friendly service. Thanks to our waiter, who made us feel at home. The location is also very charming and peaceful. A beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the hills just outside the city walls. I have no hesitation in recommending this place!! Thank you!
