A real gem! 🌿 The setting is magnificent, surrounded by nature, with a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. The owners are very welcoming and we received a warm and friendly welcome. We ate very well, with high-quality products, all sourced from their farm (flour, meat, etc.). This is evident in the flavors and makes the experience even more enjoyable. We've been coming to this restaurant for three years now – and every visit is a truly exceptional culinary experience. From the moment you step inside, you feel as if Tuscany is opening its doors. You cross a culinary threshold and are never disappointed. This isn't some staged, Michelin-starred cuisine – and that's exactly what you want. Instead, you get honest, down-to-earth dishes that taste like good food should, every single day. A tomato here tastes like a tomato, a zucchini like a zucchini. The ingredients are allowed to retain their natural flavors and are prepared with great care. None of the dishes we ordered could have tasted better. The two elderly hosts embody an almost perfectionist approach to authenticity. Their cooking is genuine, unpretentious, and of a quality that is rarely found these days. Even our children are always thrilled and rave about the food long after we've left. It almost makes you hesitate to publish such a review because you'd prefer to keep this special place to yourself. At the same time, we naturally wish the two hosts the recognition they deserve for their wonderful work. We only hope that, despite their advanced age, they never feel pressured to do more or continue working longer than they themselves wish. Anyone seeking authentic Italy will find it here. Agriturismo Il Palazzotto isn't your average restaurant; it's a place with heart and soul. It's run by a charming older couple – the husband attentively attends to the guests, while his wife passionately cooks in the kitchen. There are only a few tables, which gives the place an incredibly intimate and cozy atmosphere. You feel more like you're on the terrace of an Italian holiday apartment at a friend's house than in a restaurant. Add to that the beautiful hilltop location with its stunning views of the surrounding countryside – simply breathtaking. There's practically no menu. Instead, the daily specials are displayed on a chalkboard, depending on what's fresh and available. Many ingredients come from their own garden, and much is homemade: tomatoes, ham, wine, and much more. This is precisely what gives the place its special charm. The food was excellent – ​​honest, fresh, authentic, and prepared with so much love. This is what you imagine Italian home cooking to be like. Although the hosts only speak Italian, communication always works out somehow, and that's what makes the experience even more authentic. We were particularly impressed by the excellent value for money. For the quality, the freshness of the products, and the unique atmosphere, the prices are more than fair. An incredibly warm and welcoming couple, fantastic food, and an atmosphere that is rare to find these days. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back. Genuine food, no-frills environment

A true, authentic agriturismo. They cook locally sourced vegetables and meats. The dishes are traditional Maremma dishes. The atmosphere is simple but authentic. The farmhouse dates back to the 1700s and sits on top of a hill. Recommended.
