20/08/2025: WELCOME to ELBA 😊 What I like about Elba is the fact that it doesn't want to resemble something else and wants to remain just... Elba. This thing, in a world increasingly flattened by globalization, is increasingly important to me every year, which is why, when we get off the ferry with the motorbike, the first stop is here, for the first island snack, a moment that gives us the feeling of having arrived "home", in a land that is still human and real 😁 Here we always tasted the special of the day and whether it was a hot soup or a lasagna or a special schiacciata, we were always satisfied with the quality and tradition in the preparations, even the simplest ones. And after a chat with the owners over a good coffee and an apple and cinnamon dessert... here we are ready to leave for our new Elba holiday 😁 Alessandra and Francesca, stay like this forever and, if you can, I beg you, open on Sunday mornings too 😁🙏

24/05/2025: Really nice place with fair prices and nice people. Great for snacks but also with some tables if you want to sit and eat something from the buffet. They also sell pretty good bakery products.

25/08/2025: My first impression wasn't the best; the place looked more like a tobacconist's bar. But then the food changed my mind. The seafood spaghetti was really good, better than in other pretentious restaurants in the area.

01/07/2025: We had dinner here on the advice of acquaintances and we were absolutely happy. Tables overlooking the fields and delicious dishes but the plus of the place is certainly Massimo with his friendliness and availability that makes the evening even more enjoyable. Recommended place

30/04/2025: .....We are on Elba for the Rally which is already something exclusive and a pleasure to have the opportunity to be present in this Tuscan paradise!!! Impossible not to pass by the Tessis tavern in Portoferraio: Massimo n.1!! Indescribable as an experience and impossible not to pass by here.......

18/08/2025: The burger for €25 was an absolute disgrace: a half-raw patty, a tomato, and ketchup and mayo for a sandwich. I had to wait an hour for the food and was then disappointed. The food was generally served with very little love. The staff were nice, but the service was terrible. I'll never eat there again, even if the view is beautiful. It's absolutely not worth the money!

16/08/2025: Based on the reviews, our expectations weren't very high, but we were pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu is smaller than the dinner menu, but equally varied in flavor. We ordered mostly fresh, delicate fish. The fish gnocchi and mixed fried fish were the group's favorite dishes.

03/08/2025: L’ Agriturismo Monte Fabbrello è immerso nella tranquillità e nei profumi dell'Isola d'Elba. Il luogo è curato nei minimi dettagli, accogliente e circondato da vigneti e uliveti che rendono il panorama semplicemente incantevole. Un plauso speciale allo Chef Matteo, che ha saputo trasformare ogni pasto in un vero viaggio nei sapori. La sua cucina è genuina, creativa e profondamente legata alla tradizione toscana, Ogni piatto racconta una storia, preparato con ingredienti freschi e spesso di produzione propria, tutto impeccabile. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca relax, buona cucina e un'ospitalità autentica.

12/07/2025: Bella location, immersa nella natura. Cibo nella media, ci saremmo aspettati di più da un agriturismo che offre i propri prodotti. Niente che non avremmo potuto trovare altrove. Abbiamo preso una tartare di manzo, buona. Verdure dell’orto, purtroppo deludenti. Fiorentina nella media. Prezzo corretto. Servizio…magari era una serata storta.

04/08/2025: We happened upon this place today for lunch before boarding our flight home. We had a great time. The food was fresh and good. We were treated with kindness and friendliness (which isn't always a given these days). The location was excellent and the quality/price ratio was also excellent. We highly recommend it! 04/08/2025: The appearance of the pizzas and the reviews we'd read had convinced us to try it, but it's a shame that the experience didn't live up to expectations. The pizza was difficult to digest, and both my girlfriend and I had stomach aches all night and into the next morning. The ingredients used didn't seem particularly fresh, and this negatively impacted the overall quality. A real shame, because the pizzeria seemed promising.

30/05/2025: Excellent pizzas, thin and crispy crust. The only downside is the nearby road.

05/07/2025: Booked for 2.15pm, we arrive at 2.36pm. Closing time marked online and on the sign at the entrance 3pm. They didn't let us eat, telling us that they were already cleaning the kitchen. Neither at the time of booking, nor during the 20 minute delay did they inform us of the urgency and the need to close. Leaving aside the lack of understanding (during the summer, with the traffic in the Portoferraio area these things can happen) what is unacceptable is the lack of communication. Obviously at this time everything is closed. They must be really tired. We certainly won't bother them anymore.

29/08/2025: The restaurant is located right on the seafront. Steps lead down to the beach. The prices reflect the quality of the dishes. I tried the excellent lobster starter and the raw seafood, which was equally delicious. I'll be back as soon as possible.

28/08/2025: My boyfriend and I had a romantic dinner overlooking the sea with the colors of the sunset, absolutely beautiful. The food and service were fantastic. The only downside is that it's a long walk downhill to get there, so high heels are not recommended!

06/07/2025: Spectacular place with access to private beach, very friendly staff, great location. The only flaw is the very small accommodation.

14/06/2025: I can only positively evaluate the location and the friendliness of the owners for the rest unfortunately everything is neglected. Cleaning is non-existent and even the services are missing, there are not even the essential things such as telephone, TV, change of baancherua every 3 days!!!! Not to mention that there are problems with water for washing. I reluctantly advise against it because the location and the view are wonderful.

09/06/2025: Qui puoi cenare di fronte ad una delle più belle spiaggie dell’isola, e se si becca la giornata giusta, si può mangiare con un venticello molto piacevole. Potrebbe dare un pó fastidio il sole, ma è soggettivo. Personale simpatico, cordiale e molto disponibile. Hanni una buona fornitura di pesce fresco, e una distinta qualità dei prodotti. Si paga un pò troppo quello che si mangia, ma ci si alza da tavola contenti e piuttosto pieni. Molto veloci nell’ arrivo dei piatti. Fanno anche le pizze, che sono molto buone, ma ovviamente consiglio di optare per il pesce se si é seduti al ristorante, altrimenti una classica pizza da mangiare sulla spiaggia. Lo consiglio sia per uscite con amici, sia per una cena in famiglia. Assolutamente esperienza positiva!

05/06/2025: Abbiamo pranzato lunedì 2 giugno....qualità buona...ma porzioni piccole in paragone a cio che si paga...., direi per quantità adatte a un bambino. Ma decisamente non conforme alla quantità...(vedi foto) Posto sul mare, bella vista.....ma ripeto troppo caro per le scarse porzioni. Consiglio solo la pizza.
