13/02/2025: READ IT ALL PLEASE: ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE ZERO. August evening, we decide to try this restaurant made famous by Alessandro Borghese's series. BAD IDEA. Let's start from the beginning: to get there you have to cross a restricted traffic zone. The restaurant is located on a cliff, prepare your shoes... the restaurant geniuses ask you to communicate your license plate to avoid fines. SORRY THAT, EVEN DESPITE THE LICENSE PLATE WAS NOTICED, THE FINE ARRIVED anyway! Why? Simple: they forgot to record it…Scandalous… And here's the fun part: we write to the restaurant and they reply that they can't do anything. Are we kidding? Why do I have to pay for their mistake? Because their word is worth more than mine, on what logical basis? €150 wasted due to their incompetence. Obviously behind it there is a municipality run by incompetents who are not capable of doing their job, because instead of thanking a consumer who contributes to the economy (since if it wasn't for us they wouldn't even have money for the streets) they give random fines... And the food? Nothing special, very normal dishes that can be found everywhere on the island, but with EXAGGERATED prices Moral of the story? An anonymous dinner, poor service and a €150 fine. SHAMEFUL. AVOID IT.

05/12/2024: the place is located in an area that you have to pass through a restricted traffic zone to access. On 08/27/2024 I received a fine of €98.00 due to the owners of the place who forgot to bring the customers' license plates to the municipal police and like me all the customers of that day were fined. Fine arrived at the end of November so I couldn't even contact the restaurant which was closed.

09/02/2025: Good morning, I wanted to have information regarding the two-person tents. 1- shared bathroom right? 2- for the kitchen, is there a shared kitchen? Can you bring a stove from home? 3-fridge, do they have a shared fridge or do you bring your own? 4- is there entertainment? 5 - from the photos it looks very beautiful, anyone who has been there can tell you everything there is, diving, entertainment, theatre, disco...... Thanks to those who give me some pointers

07/11/2024: Wonderful family lunch!! I must say excellent food, good wine, clean and fresh place! The passion and enthusiasm of Massimo (owner) made lunch even more pleasant! We will definitely be back!!!

02/09/2024: Ristorante vista campi da tennis, non affollato, per una cena gustosa ed intima. Il menù viene scritto su una lavagna, cambia ogni giorno, i piatti sono buoni, le porzioni nella media e i prezzi un filo sotto a quello che trovate sull’isola. Il pesce è fresco e buono, il proprietario particolare ma assolutamente gradevole. Migliore cena della settimana a mani basse

27/02/2025: We had a very good time, Neapolitan pizza with very good ingredients, kind and nice staff, excellent price and simple but welcoming location. Surely in summer with the sea in the background it will be even better.

04/10/2024: Favorite restaurant on Elba! Franco the boss is fantastic, always listen to his recommendations. Finally, anchovies in tomato sauce. :) Inconspicuous restaurant, cheap and yet so good. Big recommendation!

28/10/2024: Inizio col dire che la posizione non gli rende merito perché qui si mangia benissimo meglio di tanti ristoranti in centro. Ero già stato in questo posto qualche anno fa, quindi per me è diventato una garanzia. Antipasto di mare ben assortito e molto buono, le penne in barca e i tortelli di pesce strepitosi, il tutto annaffiato da una ottima Falanghina. Ribadisco che per me fa "le scarpe" a tanti ristoranti del centro, oltretutto hanno prezzi più bassi

28/12/2024: The place is nice, the dishes are good and of good quality, shame about the service. Waitress of dubious friendliness. A very apathetic service, and I can still conceive it, but at dessert time a real disaster! The cheesecake looked like it was regurgitated, we asked for two warm hearts chocolate and we received two raw cakes, presumably with white chocolate. Normal price, à la carte not all you can eat. For the rest, a recommended place (except the dessert😂).

03/10/2024: Einer der günstigsten Sushi-Restaurants in dem ich je war. Dass es dabei noch eines der Besten war, ist kaum zu fassen. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, freundliches Personal und kurze Wartezeiten.

09/10/2024: Diffuse hotel, or mini apartment, I don't know how to define it but it is truly very beautiful and original. Here you don't find luxury but the essential, cleanliness and beauty of the nature in which it is located. The view you can enjoy while staying there is enchanting. Both from the room and from where you have breakfast you can admire the sea and the hills. The lady who runs it is very kind, courteous and a very good person. Compliments

18/09/2024: Excellent location for the beaches and nearby there are small supermarkets and trattorias. Furthermore there is a swimming pool with bar and restaurant.

03/12/2024: Pranzo in famiglia, nel ristorante molto conosciuto da noi portoferraiesi. Delle “ sirene” . Ottimo servizio , frutto di mare spaziale 🔝🔝🔝 e prezzi giusti per portata . Situato in una splendida cornice a 5 metri dalla spiaggia delle ghiaie . Consigliato . Consiglio la prenotazione .

20/09/2024: Wir waren dort, um einen Drink vor dem Essen zu uns zu nehmen. Der Aperol Spritz war schon mal im falschen Glas, nicht im Calice, angeboten. Zu wenig Aperol war drin, dazu etwas süßlicher Spumante. Ein schreckliches Getränk, das wir nach zwei Schlucken stehen ließen. Vermentino gab es nur auf der Speisekarte, so nahm ich einen Gewürztraminer, der dann zu warm war. Schade. Zu essen haben wir uns daraufhin nichts bestellt.

15/10/2024: Already in the falling darkness and the terrace ventilated by the sea wind, I was served a very tender and fine fish fillet with a butter sage sauce - delicious! Likewise the potato gratin and the mixed salad. Highly recommended 👏

14/10/2024: Nice place with a relaxed atmosphere, excellent view of the gulf of Portoferraio, good food and very friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

03/10/2024: La location sul molo di Portoferraio può piacere o meno ma il locale è carino ed arredato in stile vintage con molti oggetti di recupero. Si può mangiare all'esterno proprio sul molo. Malgrado il menù predefinito abbiamo mangiato bene ed il servizio è stato veloce ed efficiente. Unici nei, a mio avviso, il prezzo del coperto 3 €) ingiustificato ed i servizi esterni piuttosto imbarazzanti. Ci tornerei consapevole dei lati positivi superiori agli aspetti da migliorare

17/09/2024: The pizza was edible, but nothing special, then we took "octopus and potatoes" but in reality it was "potatoes and octopus", let's say 90% boiled potatoes, half raw, cut into cubes, and 10% octopus but then it was cut into such small pieces that you couldn't really tell what it was. Unfortunately the opinion is negative, I'm sorry but I would never go back. 11 euros of octopus and potatoes were all potatoes, but come on please...
