03/05/2026: A simple restaurant in Castagneto. We went here for lunch with our families and were greeted warmly and attentively. The food was divine, and the pappardelle with wild boar was excellent. We'll be back.
30/04/2026: If you are looking for a modern restaurant with beautifully plated food then this is not the place to come.This is a traditional Tuscan restaurant with old classic recipes by authentic nonnas in the kitchen.Cooked in the same way for years, and presented in a simple way.The pasta is all home made and delicious.There is a great wine list too featuring bolgheri wines.Give it a visit if you like traditional food

08/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch with friends and small children, and I have to say we were very satisfied overall. The food was good, the wine selection excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Eating by the sea on a beautiful day certainly made us feel good, especially since they assigned us a table on the sand and near the play area, so even the kids were practically self-catering.
I recommend it, and I'll definitely be back if I have the opportunity.

A fantastic location with a sea view, attentive and precise service, a menu featuring local products and interesting dishes, well-structured and cooked to perfection. The platter is worth a try: the slow-cooked pork belly and sliced beef are truly excellent. The wine they produce is also excellent, as is a taste of their single-variety olive oil, which will make you want to leave empty-handed. The desserts are a final surprise, as they are on par with the main courses. The tiramisu is excellent.
02/05/2026: Amazing... €35 menu with platter... tartare... first course... wine and water... everything plentiful and delicious. Place with a wonderful view... friendly staff... excellent wine and olive oil.

01/05/2026: Competence, courtesy, friendliness, quality!! Heartfelt compliments to this place in Bolgheri, everything was perfect, from the crostini, to the meat tartare, and the peposo in the terracotta pot, to the dessert!!! A wonderful evening, highly recommended place.

30/08/2025: A pleasant restaurant, with well-prepared dishes, although the portions are, in my opinion, modest. The service staff was helpful and friendly. The prices, however, are above average, and in my opinion not justified by either the location or the dishes.

06/04/2026: The atmosphere is small but very refined, with quick and efficient service.
The food is fantastic. The Zonzelle are truly something special, and the pizza, cecina, and polenta are delicious. In short, it's definitely worth stopping here for a meal.
Highly recommended!

The selection is significantly smaller compared to the gluten-containing pizzas, as the ingredients are strictly separated to avoid contamination, which is perfectly understandable.
And it doesn't affect the taste or the experience in any way!
Both the gluten-free and gluten-containing pizzas are highly recommended!
Especially for takeout with a sunset on the beach 🌅

20/09/2025: Nice view from the outdoor tables, the servers were friendly. The pizzas were average. Neither terrible nor excellent.
Update: The manager insults his customers at the slightest disagreement and has the nerve to offer a disgusting potato and sausage pizza. Buena serata

05/04/2026: A truly delightful experience! Despite the late hour, the restaurant was extremely accommodating, finding us a table without any problem. This was a gesture that was far from expected, especially at the end of the service.
The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. An excellent demonstration of professionalism and kindness that definitely deserves to be highlighted. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: I remember going there with my dad around 2009, when I lived in Bolgheri. What a time! I returned a year ago and it was like traveling back in time. The pizza was 10/10. Exceptional service!
The only thing missing is a good website with a menu and the ability to order online with integrated payment systems. If you want, I'm here to help!

24/08/2025: Had dinner with my daughter after a long day at Cavallino Matto. The service was fast and very friendly, the food was excellent and well-priced. The cecina, or chickpea cake, was truly excellent. We'll return every time we're in the area.
