A fantastic location with a sea view, attentive and precise service, a menu featuring local products and interesting dishes, well-structured and cooked to perfection. The platter is worth a try: the slow-cooked pork belly and sliced ​​beef are truly excellent. The wine they produce is also excellent, as is a taste of their single-variety olive oil, which will make you want to leave empty-handed. The desserts are a final surprise, as they are on par with the main courses. The tiramisu is excellent.

03/05/2026: A simple restaurant in Castagneto. We went here for lunch with our families and were greeted warmly and attentively. The food was divine, and the pappardelle with wild boar was excellent. We'll be back.

30/04/2026: If you are looking for a modern restaurant with beautifully plated food then this is not the place to come.This is a traditional Tuscan restaurant with old classic recipes by authentic nonnas in the kitchen.Cooked in the same way for years, and presented in a simple way.The pasta is all home made and delicious.There is a great wine list too featuring bolgheri wines.Give it a visit if you like traditional food

17/04/2026: Locanda Menabuoi is a restaurant located on the old Aurelia road, easy to reach. The location is very nice; we went for lunch, and since it wasn't crowded, we had a great time. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the menu was varied (meat and fish). The quality of the food was very good. I absolutely recommend this stop.

22/07/2026: Unfortunately, we only discovered the restaurant at the end of our vacation. Otherwise, we definitely would have come much more often. The food was delicious, the menu is really great, and there's a wide selection.

30/06/2026: Tried it last night for the first time. I went for a pizza and a dessert to take home. The atmosphere is very refined and well-maintained, and the friendly staff welcomed me right away, and I didn't even have to wait long for my pizza (despite there being several people at the tables). The pizza was good, with bold and pleasant flavors. The only reasons I didn't give it full marks are two: the pizza prices (actually not much different from most pizzerias these days, but a bit high in my opinion) and the dessert. I had a Nutella Cheesecake, which wasn't bad, but I struggled to finish it because there was something off about the dough that I couldn't quite identify; I think it was cinnamon. In any case, I recommend it if you want a quick pizza or if you want to dine out while staying in the area.

11/09/2025: Really excellent gluten-free pizza! The selection is significantly smaller compared to the gluten-containing pizzas, as the ingredients are strictly separated to avoid contamination, which is perfectly understandable. And it doesn't affect the taste or the experience in any way! Both the gluten-free and gluten-containing pizzas are highly recommended! Especially for takeout with a sunset on the beach 🌅

02/06/2026: We were there during opening hours and weren't the only ones who found the doors locked. A phone call only got us the recorded message with the opening hours. A real shame, we would have loved to try and buy some good coffee.

25/07/2026: We had pizzas yesterday and both were delicious. I especially loved the one with burrata. The service was very friendly and efficient. We were tempted to try the desserts, but we were completely stuffed by the end. We'll have to come back and try them again! 😋
