07/08/2024: A kitchen without ingredients. Real disappointment not to have been able to find on the palate a culinary proposal that on paper seems to be interesting. I ate the dish of the day, cheese and pear lasagne with ricotta and red wine reduction, unfortunately as I said at the beginning the ingredients were not present, no pear flavour, the ricotta was replaced by a tasteless primo sale curd and the reduction of wine was not such. Other dishes eaten by my guests such as the ravioli with cheese and figs and the cappellacci with baked potatoes turned out to be equally lacking in flavour. I regret having to advise against a restaurant that would like to offer a different culinary offering than that of the area.

07/08/2024: The food was not bad, Tuscan specialties, excellent pasta and fish. The service was rather slow and they did not do well with the wine. But in general I can recommend it and it's worth a visit. They have a tiny parking lot there, so there was no space.

30/07/2024: Ate here today with our family. You have a beautiful view from the terrace. The food was really delicious. Staff were friendly. Will definitely come back next year

03/09/2024: Beautiful location, excellent mixed Tuscan starter. I wasn't crazy about the Livorno-style cod, too much sauce which in my opinion covered the flavor of the fish. Kind and attentive staff. Notice that it has parking for guests, I discovered it after parking a kilometer away.

03/09/2024: Swung in for lunch after a wine tasting, nice that they have parking although tight down on a lower level. Wine list was nice and the maremma toscana cab we tried was delicious. View is the real star, but we should’ve tried the pizza side next door that was packed (doesn’t show up on google maps)! Service was decent but food was slow (only 2 tables in restaurant and took 20+ mins), not a ton of flavor and we had to ask for bread (no olive oil) which was bland and cold. Venison was cooked well, polenta cake too - just missing flavor. Risotto was more rice than Arborio risotto and almost bad flavor with the asparagus, didn’t blend well and not al dente. Fries looked amazing, nice salting but not quite crispy enough / got soggy fast.

11/08/2024: Incredibly delicious food, an absolute ten. Very good English speaking staff. Wonderful Tuscan atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are in Bolgheri.

11/08/2024: The Florentine PGI is good, perhaps for an Englishman!!!! certainly not for a Florentine! The steak is inedible! Place for tourists. High prices that do not reflect the quality.

23/08/2024: Nice area. Very cool to go on holiday with lots of people. Recommended for trips that are not too expensive. The rooms are pretty ok. But the food there isn't that good. So I always had to go somewhere else to eat. But im very very nice

22/08/2024: We stayed on holiday for 10 days in this wonderful village, the third year in a row that we have come, where the strong point in our opinion is the entertainment: ALE and its team are fantastic! Very good guys, prepared, always with a smile who made us have a lot of fun and also excite us! The village is surrounded by nature while still offering many services and places for leisure. Directly on the beach. The only sore points: supermarket prices that are sometimes embarrassing and in our opinion the refrigerators in the accommodation need to be reviewed or fixed. Our girls are already asking us to come back next year!

28/08/2024: Di solito spiego dettagliatamente le inadeguatezze. In questo caso non sto neppure a perdere tempo in quanto, a mio avviso, la situazione è irrecuperabile. Conto finale ingiustificato. Anche il caffè, secondo il mio giudizio, sapeva di bruciato.

25/08/2024: Da sconsigliare linguine all’astice completamente scotto praticamente pappa e astice gommoso sicuramente congelato della coop antipasto e dolce niente di che non ci tornerò sicuramente

08/08/2024: Food and service normal. I ate there in the evening with company so the view was not visible. The tables are arranged along a small street in the town next to a slightly sloping wall. For an evening it is recommended.

06/08/2024: Unfortunately we were poorly served, but in the final ticket they charge 12% more and this is not taken into account... The price quality is not right and it is without a doubt not a place for families with children. The food is not what it seems for what you pay. 29/08/2024: Ambiente tranquillo, una simpatica serata di coppia, una cena che ci ha soddisfatto abbastanza ma... il conto finale, al quale eravamo preparati quando ci hanno portato il menù, sensibilmente troppo alto per le quantità e la qualità. Quindi, niente di scandaloso ma neppure un ricordo tale che ci permetterà di tornare. Noi pensiamo che ci sia di meglio in zona e a un prezzo più ragionevole.

19/08/2024: I come here every summer and am always impressed. Simply a great restaurant with friendly service and delicious food! They put a lot of effort into the gluten-free diet that I have to stick to because of celiac disease and I have found a restaurant in our holiday resort that I can always rely on! :-)
