23/07/2025: What can I say? After several experiences in the area eating the iconic Florentine steak, we decided to "detox" ourselves and accidentally discovered this little corner of paradise. The photo says a lot, but not everything. It doesn't convey the culinary experience or the courtesy of the staff. Honorable mention for the bruschetta and the olive oil. If it were up to us, we'd still be there now. A little gem: their gin and tonic is worth trying.

28/07/2025: Siamo stati sistemati al tavolo più esposto alla spiaggia e abbiamo quindi avuto la possibilità di goderci lo spettacolo del tramonto. Servizio abbastanza confusionario, ma i piatti erano buoni e curati, anche se senza particolare carattere. Da tornare solo per la location, a patto che si abbia la fortuna di poter mangiare con vista: i tavoli dietro di noi erano sicuramente sacrificati.

11/07/2025: As an espresso lover, I visited the small shop of the Caffé King roastery yesterday. I'd noticed their coffee in the local bars and wanted to check out what they had to offer. There are six different bean blends, ranging from 80% Arabica/20% Robusta to 20% Arabica/80% Robusta. We were able to taste three different blends and then purchased our favorites. The prices are very reasonable, €17-24 per kg. Great atmosphere, patient staff, and top-notch coffee. I'd like to see them distributed in Austria! Keep it up! Please enter the opening hours on Google; they're open from 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon during the summer season.

Exceptional quality of the ingredients, very careful plating and attention to the customer as is rare to find nowadays. Very happy to have discovered this corner of taste. Of all the dishes on the menu we opted for - pici with black cabbage sauce, bacon and cashews - Tuscan cutting board - Pici with Tuscan ragù The photos speak for themselves. Congratulations! 07/05/2025: The location helps this little town tavern a lot which presents itself as a trendy grill restaurant, a little outside the box...forget the fundamental rules of welcoming good food and settle for burnt meats, lukewarm wines and an environment bordering on filthy.....ah, yes...the steak is not native...I usually eat Ori and I know the difference!!

On the fifth and last night of our stay in the area we returned to one of the four: Ristorante da Ugo in the center of Castagneto Carducci, which confirmed itself for the quality of the food, for the attention of the waiting staff, for the speed of service, at a fair cost. A necessary stop for those who come to these parts.

15/06/2025: Spectacular view of the Bolgheri plain, exquisite dishes of the best Maremma tradition (wild boar, rabbit, wood pigeon, but also baked fish, fried food and excellent linguine with cuttlefish ink!), a wide selection of wines and a warm and familiar atmosphere. For me, it has been the best for many years and it never disappoints!
