19/10/2025: This is a small, quaint restaurant in the center of town; there are only a few tables and a few dishes, but that's a good thing because you can enjoy good traditional Tuscan food away from the hustle and bustle. The dishes are well-prepared, the portions are moderate, the service is attentive, and the prices are quite high.

25/09/2025: The location and panoramic view are stunning, but the decor isn't the most refined—you could even find it at a local festival. The fish is very good, both the first courses, appetizers, and main courses... the desserts aren't up to par with the rest of the menu. Prices are slightly on the high side. The staff is young and very friendly.

16/12/2025: Been there three times, lovely cottage, beautiful location and surroundings, excellent food, friendly staff.
The only downside is that there isn't always space by the pool. What bothers me is that there are over 30 spots (parasol with two loungers) and everything is taken, even though there are only four people there. Perhaps implement a rule requiring you to take your belongings with you when you leave and not leave a towel to keep the spot occupied, or create more space.
28/09/2025: A really lovely campsite with a great pool. The bungalows have two air conditioners but are a bit sparsely equipped. A proper frying pan and a coffee maker were missing. Everything is very basic.
But it doesn't really matter, as you're rarely in the bungalow anyway.
However, the campsite owners can't be blamed for this: there are loads of mosquitoes and horseflies, which are quite aggressive. Spray yourself with insect repellent in the mornings and afternoons in August.
The beach is 5 km away, either sandy or natural with large stones, but there are fish.
Shopping facilities are also quite close, and there's a stall with fresh fruit even closer. 😀

26/12/2025: I had a great time. I had the gnocchi with a saffron sauce and the Chiusdino sausage. It was delicious. The atmosphere was calm and very friendly. I don't understand what people are complaining about. And the prices were fair. I'll be back for an aperitivo. 😉

A key ingredient for success.
Stefania is a winner and has a very capable manager.
What could be improved? The male staff lack empathy for the environment they work in: cold, never smiling, and lacking vivacity.
The baristas' attire needs attention.
The outside area is a bit cold, in my opinion.
I don't remember if it's there, but the door leading to the back of the lab should be closed.
I was distracted by Stefania's eyes and smile.

09/03/2026: I won't be going back.
Today we had lunch for two, and it was a truly awful experience. We had a salad with eggs and chicken (we later discovered they were nuggets), a burger with grilled vegetables, and a portion of fried artichokes.
Let's ignore the decidedly high price, but the quality of everything was absolutely terrible. I couldn't eat the burger; it had a bad texture and flavor. The salad was a mere handful, and the artichokes looked like they'd been fried in stale oil. As for the nuggets, I'll let you judge by the photo.
Hoping we don't feel sick, I strongly advise against them.

13/09/2025: Excellent quality meat, perfectly cooked, efficient, friendly, and attentive staff. The restaurant is well-kept and surrounded by lush greenery—kudos to the attention to detail! We had a lovely evening with friends and two small children; there's plenty of room for strollers.

02/11/2025: We had breakfast and dinner here every day during our stay. I can't understand the bad reviews from the complaining German tourists. I had the Florentine, tuna pizza, and wild boar ragout. Everything was excellent. The owners were incredibly friendly and chatted with us for a while. They even gave us a parting gift because we'd been there every day. You reap what you sow. If you behave well, you'll be treated accordingly.

01/09/2025: We ate there, although dining next to the road wasn't pleasant. The fish was fresh and good. Prices were a bit high considering it's a delicatessen and there's virtually no table service; you set and clear your own food with a tray.
