14/10/2025: The pizza at Grano is so good! the dough is fluffy and the edges crispy! €2 gets you a large slice cut in half. I got a slice of mushroom and another of potato for only €4 and i was full! The owner, Antonio, is very friendly and speaks perfect english. Grano is a small establishment with a couple of tables to sit outside. I took mine to go and enjoy in my hotel. I feel compelled to say to all the complainers that their environment is nothing more than a reflection of their inner life condition. i’m glad I stopped at Grano!

07/11/2025: Dishes crafted and served with love! The best grilled meat in the area and a mixed antipasto that was a constant discovery of flavors. The atmosphere was attentive to every detail, friendly, and convivial. It's become our new favorite spot, perfect for an after-work dinner.

31/10/2025: We arrived very late, almost at the kitchen closing time, but Leonardo was kind enough to make us two fried fish dishes on the fly. A supersonic fried dish! Shrimp, vegetables, calamari, and fish! Everything was so fresh and delicious 😍 The atmosphere is truly charming, well-kept, and full of details, with a beautiful window overlooking the sea. ✨️ I highly recommend it 😊🌸

11/11/2025: I hate being someone that complains, but this really wasn’t a good experience. It was a struggle to even be acknowledged walking into the door, and then experienced lack luster service at the table. I eventually just walked in and ordered a sandwich to go, and paid. And then waited 15 minutes while I smelt it burning in the toaster oven. I’m pretty sure the girl that took my order put it in, and then got off her shift and left. Eventually I walked back up to the counter and was able grab someone’s attention who clearly was embarrassed that I had been forgotten. He handed me my burnt sandwich in a napkin, and I left and immediately just tossed it. Thankfully there’s a kebab spot about a 5 min walk around corner with a super sweet employee that made me something good to eat. *updated to add that while the owner implied that I left a bad review on the wrong restaurant, I did not. The place I ate a kebab at is called Istanbul Kebab & pizzeria, and it’s a 3 min walk from Bar Giulia.

06/11/2025: A place to linger, right by the sea; note that it's November and you can sit outside; extremely friendly staff; super delicious cornetti with pistachio cream; a cute three-legged tomcat kept us company – what more could life offer?

28/09/2025: 'I don't need your name, I can remember your face: Table 1, sette e mezzo': Funny and hardworking owner, a mix of pirate and rocker, friendly and attentive. You sit at the harbor pier, get wine between €20 and €600 (his brand of humor, the wine costs €20). They also serve beer, spaghetti vongole with bottarga for €18. We had a large salad for two (tomatoes, green salad, and mozzarella, €12). They also serve fish. It was a nice evening; we'll definitely go again.

07/10/2025: Santo Stefano's historic bakery. The pizza, schiacciata, and savory dishes are delicious. But the best here is the legendary ricotta and chocolate cake. It also features a soft ricotta and sour cherry crumble, varying in texture and shape, delicious and delicious.

23/10/2025: We happened to be passing through Porto Santo Stefano and wanted something quick to eat. Given the cool breeze, this place not only has outdoor seating but also an indoor area. Unfortunately, it's not connected to the kitchen, and the staff has to come from outside, but then again, I think it's worse to cross the street. The swordfish carpaccio and fish crostini were both good. Spaghetti with clams and Spaghetti allo scoglio were very good, with perfectly cooked pasta. Water, 1/4 cup wine, dessert, and a coffee totaled around €60. The price was fair, and the waitress was very friendly. Of course, the indoor dining area is a sidewalk, so it's not exceptionally decorated, but overall, it's a place I'd return to for its excellent value.

01/11/2025: I can't express my enthusiasm for clear and straightforward Tuscan cuisine in words, as I was so overwhelmed by this cooking and the food! Flavors and ingredients that seemingly don't go together are simply blended together, creating compositions of taste and flavor, as the Italians would say! From wild boar to duck, everything is very well composed! The desserts are also amazing!! Highly recommended, we always come back when we're in the area! Simply top-notch food in a great atmosphere!! Perfetto!!

11/10/2025: A wonderful evening at Ristorante Piropo! The food was fantastic – fresh fish, perfectly grilled seafood, and delicate flavors that are rarely found in such harmony. The tuna appetizer was particularly delicious! The Alìe rosé from Frescobaldi also went wonderfully with it. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm. The ambiance on the terrace overlooking the harbor is simply gorgeous – stylish, cozy, and romantic all at once. We were even a little surprised that it was so quiet at the beginning of the evening – by 9 p.m. the restaurant was packed! A place I highly recommend if you want to eat in Porto Santo Stefano. Highly recommended! 🌅🍷🐟

19/10/2025: From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome — the staff and surrounding atmosphere were warm and friendly. As a connoisseur of seafood, I approached this restaurant with high expectations. Unfortunately, the culinary experience did not meet them. Overall, the dishes lacked depth of flavor. Despite the many possibilities to enhance the natural taste of shellfish, the preparation fell short. The pasta was noticeably undercooked, resulting in an unpleasant texture. Conversely, the seafood accompanying the pasta was overcooked and dehydrated, disintegrating on the plate and leaving behind only the shells. The final dish, a fritura, was also disappointing. The calamari was soggy, the shrimp appeared insufficiently cleaned, and the fish was plain and lacked seasoning. In conclusion, the overall quality of the food was considerably below expectations, particularly given the price point. The restaurant would greatly benefit from greater attention to preparation, texture, and flavor balance to align the experience with its cost and presentation.

09/10/2025: It was our go-to spot during our days in Porto Santo Stefano. The food is excellent, with special attention to gluten-free options. The fish is always fresh, the atmosphere is elegant, and the staff is very knowledgeable. The hostess was extremely kind and gave us excellent advice on excursions in the area—always spot on! Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: We chose this restaurant because of its good Google rating. I'm writing this review only to share a less than positive experience that might be helpful to those with more similar tastes. Given the kindness of the staff, I would have gladly avoided writing it. The atmosphere, in our opinion, doesn't reflect the professionalism and quality evident on the (very well-designed) website and in most of the reviews we've read. The atmosphere is cold, and there's a slight odor upon entering; I don't know if it's due to a plumbing issue, but certainly not to a lack of cleanliness. The table setting doesn't match the price point the restaurant aims to set, due to the fake flower centerpieces and the slightly scratchy paper napkin covers (not even non-woven). The service is extremely polite and equally disorganized, with moments of inevitable tension between staff, due only to frustration at the lack of a system and not to any bitterness between them. The menu is far too extensive for a quality restaurant; in fact, almost all the fish is frozen, and some dishes feature out-of-season vegetables. The quality of the food is just passable, definitely not in line with the prices. The wait for the first course was very long. I saw so much goodwill in the dining room that it's truly a shame I can't give a better rating.
