30/04/2025: 5 Stars – Trust Paolo, Even Without the Wine My dad always told me, “You can always trust the bartender.” Tonight at Ristorante Cortefreda, that truth came to life through Paolo — even though we didn’t order a single drop of alcohol. Paolo, who happens to have a background in chemical engineering, was both our server and the restaurant’s bartender — and yet, he welcomed our choice to stick with black Americanos without even a hint of judgment. His grace, warmth, and professionalism were a masterclass in hospitality. What stood out most was his passion for the food. Every culinary recommendation he made was exceptional — thoughtful, balanced, and clearly rooted in deep knowledge and love for the cuisine. Paolo made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely cared for. If you’re visiting Ristorante Cortefreda, trust Paolo. He’s proof that great service transcends the glass — and that sometimes, the best pairing for an unforgettable meal is simply kindness and good coffee.

16/02/2025: Come da titolo, ottimo ristorante. Come da tradizione, immancabile e in linea con la qualità tipica della regione, si apprezza soprattutto per i piatti e pietanze a base di carne. Buona anche la cantina. Assolutamente consigliato!

08/07/2025: Truly an excellent experience! The hotel is welcoming, clean, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful: they even went out to buy me a toothbrush I'd forgotten. The restaurant is excellent: I tried the pici with meat sauce, the chicken tagliata, and the beef tagliata, all delicious and beautifully presented. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

02/07/2025: ""When I was little I used to go get pizza from Vagabondo, both for the quality and the delivery, and I was always satisfied. Unfortunately, lately I have been very disappointed. In a previous order, after receiving a wrong pizza (a margherita instead of a marinara), I called back to report the mistake. They brought me a new pizza, but the anchovies and olives were still missing. I gave up But in the hope that it was just a Saturday mistake, I reordered, hoping for greater punctuality, through Glovo (and I must say that the punctuality was excellent), but I was not satisfied with the pizza: the cooking was not good, the olives and anchovies were missing again, and I did not even receive the Coca-Cola I had ordered. Be careful with your orders, it is better not to take the order than to deliver it like this. I am very sorry, but after all these negative experiences, I do not think I will place orders again."
