08/11/2025: Very small space, and the owner should learn the meaning of kindness! After yelling at the employee, she then went on to yell at me, too, after pointing out that there wasn't enough room for me to sit at the table! Move on!
01/11/2025: I ordered a pizza to go and they told me it would be ready in less than 5 minutes, so I asked them to wait a little longer because I had to go get my car. When I returned, they made me wait at least 20 minutes. The pizza wasn't bad, nothing special. It's one of the few pizzerias in the area if you don't want to go to Florence for dinner, so it could be an option. Just remember that in Italy you always pay per person, so in the case of a pizzeria, it's not justified in my opinion.

12/05/2025: Sono stata a pranzo in questo ristorante con alcune amiche e devo dire che, a parte la vista panoramica straordinaria, l'esperienza è stata assolutamente positiva: personale gentile ed educato, cibo buonissimo e rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente.

03/01/2026: We dined at the Fiesolano restaurant on January 1, 2026. We ordered a Florentine steak for two and expected it to be served raw at the table, with the actual weight clearly displayed. This is a matter of fairness and transparency, as is the case in many Tuscan restaurants. Instead, the meat was served pre-cooked on a ceramic plate, with no indication of its actual weight. Furthermore, since it wasn't placed on a hot surface, it quickly cooled down. We weren't satisfied, but rather disappointed.
01/01/2026: First dinner of 2026, excellent! From the appetizer to the excellent dessert, including the perfectly cooked FLORENTINE STEAK with a respectable house wine. Kudos to the manager and his team!

19/10/2025: The opposite of what a restaurant should be. We witnessed scenes of ordinary madness, with the owner yelling and swearing. The pizza was excellent, the cuisine subpar... But the rudeness of the male waiter and the owner... I've never seen anything like it. A restaurant owner who mistreats customers. Like the waiter... I recommend changing jobs if you don't want to.

23/08/2025: We stopped for a quick coffee, but we left feeling disappointed. The price of a coffee (2.50), plus the cost of table service, should also reflect attentive and clean service. Instead, the bathroom was out of toilet paper and hand soap. If we had known this beforehand, we would have used the public restrooms instead of luring customers to a place that doesn't deserve it.

20/11/2025: We spent €32.50 each, including the 5 children: consider that the kids each had a half portion of pasta and THAT'S IT. The 7 of us adults had just one course each, a few appetizers to share, and a few desserts. A single bottle of cheap wine and the rest were water. All of this would have been fine if the quality and quantity had been decent, but they weren't. My ribollita tasted like nothing; it was basically wet bread. Plus, at this price, I imagine I wouldn't have to set the table and go to the cashier to order. We won't be back.
19/10/2025: Garbage Service. You have to draw a number to order. I drew number 28. It took 45 minutes to go from 21 to number 28. In which world does it take this long to record the order of 8 pairs? Cant say anything about the food. Was to fed up with waiting...

02/04/2025: From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance.What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa.
I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments.
I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality!
I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

03/06/2025: Desnudo - huesos (por ejemplo, platos de papel) estilo cafetería barato increíble pasta casera! La pasta rivaliza con algunas de las mejores caseras que tuvimos en Roma y Florencia. Las salsas también estaban bien. ¡Si estuviera en Fiesole, sin duda sería un habitual aquí! Y unas vistas estupendas desde lo alto de la colina.

10/11/2024: Siamo tornati all'India dopo oltre 20 anni e abbiamo trovato un ambiente diverso ma ugualmente caratteristico per assaporare i sapori dell'India.
Le porzioni sono abbondanti e per non sbagliare vi consiglio per due persone:
1x mix antipasto x2
1x murg tandoori da condividere
1x murg tikka masala da condividere
focacce a piacimento
2x birra cobra 66cl
Buona cena!
17/10/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena e devo dire che siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti, piatti buoni ed autentici, in una location tradizionale. Il punto forte però è la cordialità e gentilezza con cui ci hanno accolti, ci torneremo sicuramente!
