30/10/2023: Nothing to add,utterly perfect. Situated on the hillside overlooking Firenze,the property has a great view and la loggia offer balcony seats facing the scenery. This is a total different experience compared to the hectic florence. We are lucky enough to visit before the season closing. But I advise if you plan a visit,please contact the hotel/restaurant to check if they are opening. We have chosen the tasting menu ‘contrasti’ with a well curated seafood menu. Afterall the florentine steak and tuscany traditional meal we think this is a refreshing break. The restaurant manager simone is very nice to have offered us some champagne for my pre-birthday. We open up the apetite with a set of beautiful ‘primavera’ garden like apetitizers. Simone pretty presents the stories of each dish behind and the local ingredient to make the beautiful crafted dishes. To higlight there js one sphere shape butter which is made from the milk on back of the hill of the restaurant. It is so creamy pairing up with the perfect crusted bread. The basic ‘bread and butter ‘ can simply shows how well a restaurant is. Other than that I love the mushroom crema antipasti, perfectly decorated. Afterall the chef alessandro cozzolino meet us,he is very friendly and also previously worked in Hong Kong from where I am originated. He told us all the beautiful ceramic plates are designed by him,such a detailed-minded display. I would like to remark on the wine pairing,highly recommended as you will taste wine from different region,they will pair it up based on your own needs and interests. and most of all you can enjoy the dinner without any hassles. Overall the restuarant and hotel has a great atmosphere. It is a enjoyable meal,great service from a passionate and detail-minded team. Highly recommended.

03/09/2023: Eating at La Loggia-the fine dining restaurant in the Villa San Michele, located in the hills above Florence in Fiesole, was an amazing experience. We arrived early, but one of the managers, Eleonora, was so gracious and gave us a tour of the hotel and then offered us a Prosecco while they readied our table. The wait staff was top-notch. You have a choice of one of the tasting menus—which range from €190-140. Another option is to choose 2 a la carte items, plus dessert. We chose to order a la carte. Everything is gorgeously presented on custom-made ceramics. My first dish was the Camelia floreale—a luscious combo of tiny shrimp, nectarines, and juniper. It was wonderful. My partner chose the Mugellani—ravioli with potatoes. But first they brought in an array of breads and grissini—scrumptious! My second dish was a kind of risotto-like dish made of spelt—and ancient grain grown locally. My husband chose the risotto. Both were scrumptious! In between each dish and after dessert we were presented with amuses bouche. Their tastes exploded in the mouth! The views were spectacular. Fiesole is cooler than Florence, so bring a wrap.

10/02/2024: Un locale accogliente con personale gentilissimo. Una Fiorentina stupenda,coccole e prosciutto e alla fine chiacchiere di produzione del locale eccezionali. È stata una esperienza magnifica ed è sicuramente un locale da non perdere! Prezzo giusto! Bravissimi

24/02/2024: Ambiente familiare dove la cortesia è davvero di casa, ci sono diverse sale dove poter stare ma conviene prenotare, il cibo è ottimo e personalmente consiglio alla fine una crostata alla frutta che è la fine del mondo .. da tornarci, per tutte le occasioni.

Rispetto ai prezzi visti in zona più centrale, qui la fiorentina è più economica con un'ottima qualità; ho avvertito un leggero calo nella proposta dei dolci. consigliato, alla prima occasione ci torneremo

05/10/2023: Cuisine raffinée, avec des gens qui aiment parler de ce qu'ils font, expliquer d'où viennent leurs produits, quelles sont leurs particularités, comment ils les cuisinent. Magnifique résultat (mention spéciale au gaspacho aux framboises et crème d'amandes !!! Mais pas que...) Nous avons adoré ce moment de grâce dans ce village magique. Et après le déjeuner, la vue magique sur Florence.

10/09/2023: Trovato per caso con poco tempo a disposizione prima di uno spettacolo a Teatro. Servizio veloce ed efficiente. Abbiamo preso due hamburger di Calvanina, veramente ottimi, ed un ciliegiolo bio. Abbiamo speso con piacere circa 70 euro. Nota di merito per l’hamburger corredato da maionese e ketchup fatti in casa e qualche patata arrosto. Dimenticavo la piccola entrèe di benvenuto: una piccolissima pallina fatta con pomodorini secchi. Siamo andati via soddisfatti anche se non ci sarebbe dispiaciuto che le porzioni fossero state più grandi( solo un po’)!

06/04/2024: We celebrated a birthday, when booking we requested a cake, there are no problems you just need to know in advance, well there was no pastry chef. Poor menu, poorly cooked and expensive dishes. The queen's dish 2 fried eggs with 3 potatoes and 2 salad leaves €15, small and burnt hamburger. Maybe they can fool tourists but certainly not the Florentines

24/10/2023: Fiesole è in una bella area verde vicino Firenze . Dopo una bella passeggiata siamo andati a pranzo . Il locale è frequentato ed il mangiare gradevole , le tagliatelle al ragù che ho preso erano buone ed abbondanti , non ho preso il secondo ma un dolcetto si. Buoni anche i tortellini e risotto presi dai colleghi. Crostini misti toscani molto gradevoli.

08/10/2023: Fuori città ma comodo. Abbiamo pranzato all' aperto, molto bello sotto gli alberi. C'erano diversi festeggiamenti, per cui molti ospiti, troppi. Potrebbe essere il motivo della tagliata fredda, che era cmq gustosissima. Primi ottimi, dolce superbo.

06/04/2024: Small Bar-Tobacconist with outdoor tables overlooking Piazza Mino in Fiesole. Here you can taste a coffee for 2 euros, a cappuccino for 3 euros and/or a stuffed croissant for 2 euros. Service normal. Costs a little high, food ok.

06/01/2024: Sono cliente abituale del locale e decido di far conoscere il ristorante anche ai miei colleghi. Il menù è sempre molto invitante e la qualità dei piatti decisamente alta, sia nella presentazione che nella loro esecuzione. Sicuramente consigliate le diverse specialità al tartufo e la bistecca, sempre ottima, ma in generale qualsiasi cosa scegliate cascate in piedi. Carta dei vini varia e ricercata con una particolare attenzione verso cantine e produttori di nicchia. Marco Masi, il titolare, guida un servizio attento e premuroso ma informale. Il recente restyling degli ambiente ne aggiunge ulteriore eleganza e stile. Ragazzi, continuate così!

28/12/2023: "La Trattoria Terrazza 45 è un autentico paradiso per gli amanti del pesce. Personalmente ho ordinato un carpaccio di pesce spada alla salsa di capperi, mentre la mia compagna ha optato per un salmone con zucchine marinate. Piatti con pesce fresco che deliziano il palato e ti fanno sentire come se fossi in riva al mare. L'ambiente è elegante ma non formale. È stata un'esperienza culinaria straordinaria che non vedo l'ora di ripetere." Ringrazio Rafat e tutto lo staff di Terrazza 45 per la magnifica serata.
