18/03/2026: A refined and welcoming atmosphere Frozen fish The chef tells us that fresh fish doesn't even exist in Livorno... I invite him to come with me and taste it for himself... I won't argue. I pay (expensively) down to the last 50 cents (whatever he wants). We won't be returning. Compliments to the waitresses, they're excellent. Anyone who says the food here is good must be very hungry.

Finally, a place where you can eat and chat in peace, thanks to the distance between the tables, which raises the bar. I'll definitely be back for dinner in the garden. Excellent service.

03/03/2026: Terrible experience and inappropriate behavior. We made a reservation request through TheFork that included a 20% discount for Sunday lunch. The platform, at the time of the request (Tuesday), showed full availability. However, the restaurant never confirmed the reservation, leaving it on hold for days. We called several times to investigate the issue and were always referred to the owner, the only one who apparently monitors and accepts reservations from The Fork. After several reminders and requests to speak with him directly, he simply canceled our reservation the day before, claiming that all the tables were already full. This is unlikely, given that the availability was there when we made the request. The result? We found ourselves with all the other restaurants already full, risking not finding a table elsewhere. The feeling is that the restaurant is leaving reservations with discounts pending to see if they can fill the restaurant without promotions, and then possibly canceling them at the last minute. If this were the case, it would be extremely unfair to customers. I advise everyone to be careful: booking with this restaurant carries the real risk of having your reservation canceled at the last minute.

21/11/2025: We stopped to refuel and stumbled upon this pleasant discovery. La Patty offers excellent burgers 😍 everything from the bread to the meat, vegetables, and sauces—the choice is yours! So if you're passing through and you're hungry... stop here!

07/03/2026: We went for dinner because it's close to the hotel where we were staying and I know the chain. The place was clean, the food was good, the service perhaps a little slow compared to other places in the chain (at least considering someone who might need a quick bite to eat to catch a train), but the experience was more than positive. I'll just leave a note for the manager, which is meant as a tip: if I order coffees and they give me a Ferrero Rocher, I think it's a free gift; but if I'm then charged €0.70 for the same thing, I'm honestly annoyed—not so much the price, but the fact that it was given to me without asking. Also, one person in the group was lactose intolerant and therefore paid for something they knew they couldn't eat. In short, a tip for anyone passing through the station, and if I'm in Turin again, I'll stop by, but I'll definitely specify only the coffee without the chocolate!

22/03/2026: We tried Pizzeria Origano in Calenzano, ordering two takeout pizzas—a Margherita with artichokes and a Quattro Formaggi—and were truly impressed! The dough is simply among the best we've ever tasted: light, well-leavened, and highly digestible. You can immediately taste the quality, and every bite confirms the attention to detail. The ingredients are also top-notch, perfectly enhancing the final result. Both pizzas were exceptional, tasty, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a pizzeria we'll return to often—highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Thank goodness this delightful little place exists in Calenzano! The round pizza is delicious, from the dough to the quality ingredients and the many flavors to choose from, along with many beautiful and delicious desserts. Plus, the girl at the cashier is incredibly kind, really nice and helpful—well done!!! I'll be back to try many more flavors of pizza, both round and sliced, and various desserts!
