We've always had good food, but this time we felt they'd achieved excellence in every way: generous and consistently delicious dishes, but above all, obsessive customer service, exceptional staff, and the owner, despite it being a Saturday evening, provided incredibly fast service and everyone was eager to know if everything was to our liking. 03/05/2026: A very beautiful and welcoming place, the decor is meticulously maintained. The service was impeccable, and the staff were highly trained and meticulous. The open kitchen is beautiful, showing the care taken in preparing each dish. We had an excellent steak for two to share; it was cooked rare as requested, and the meat was of excellent quality. The only thing I would add would be flaked salt to further enhance the meat. Finally... the coffee menu is a great idea. For anyone in the area, I highly recommend a lovely dinner accompanied by a good wine.

10/05/2026: I had their stuffed schciataccia for lunch, which was widely advertised on social media. It was good, nothing to complain about, but maybe a little dry with the ham and cheese. Maybe I made the wrong combination, or maybe they need some sauce to make it chewier; it makes my jaw hurt. The dough was good, though. I also had the sweet version with fruit, but it was a shame; it was completely tasteless. The lady behind the counter was kind. I don't think I'll ask for seconds...

02/04/2026: I very rarely give 5 stars. Only to places where, as you walk out, you’re already thinking about when to come back. And honestly, I almost never give 2 stars either — I simply don’t visit such places. But Carmagnini del ’500 is the kind of place worth getting on a plane for and flying to Tuscany. Royal lilies on the walls, plates with a family crest. But this is not arrogance. This is self-respect. Quiet, confident, unquestioned. I’ve never had venison prosciutto like this — deep, elegant, no drama. The duck — fantastic, the kind that makes conversation unnecessary. The tiramisu — exactly as it should be. No experiments, no “modern art.” And then comes the moment when you think: “Alright, I’ve seen it all.” And they bring you the pasta with cheese… And you realize — you haven’t seen anything yet. By the way, first time in my life I was charged a €4 coperto per person. And what? I didn’t even feel offended. When the system works — even the fee becomes part of the experience. In short: this is not a restaurant. this is a place that sets the rules — and you’re perfectly happy to follow them.

22/03/2026: We tried Pizzeria Origano in Calenzano, ordering two takeout pizzas—a Margherita with artichokes and a Quattro Formaggi—and were truly impressed! The dough is simply among the best we've ever tasted: light, well-leavened, and highly digestible. You can immediately taste the quality, and every bite confirms the attention to detail. The ingredients are also top-notch, perfectly enhancing the final result. Both pizzas were exceptional, tasty, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a pizzeria we'll return to often—highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Thank goodness this delightful little place exists in Calenzano! The round pizza is delicious, from the dough to the quality ingredients and the many flavors to choose from, along with many beautiful and delicious desserts. Plus, the girl at the cashier is incredibly kind, really nice and helpful—well done!!! I'll be back to try many more flavors of pizza, both round and sliced, and various desserts!

09/05/2026: After so many years, it's still a sure thing! Excellent dishes, top-quality ingredients, and very kind waiters. I'd also add that the prices are excellent considering the quality/price ratio and the abundance. Highly recommended. I recommend making a reservation.
