04/03/2025: Locale curato, pulito e accogliente il servizio un po' freddo,quasi inesistente ,minimal(in confronto con la colazione).il menù ricercato, innovativo,ogni piatto un esplosione di sapori e molta cura .Un applauso allo chef !

02/03/2025: I've been going there for a lifetime (20-25 years I think) to eat but it's been a while since I've been back, really disappointing compared to the past, service (in terms of timing) scandalous, food not bad but much worse than it used to be (both in quantity and quality), really high prices, when it's full and crowded even parking is difficult, the faded photocopy (better to say the mimeograph, for those who know what it is) of the Paiolo of the past :-(

26/11/2024: Trattoria/osteria tipica che mantiene il fascino rustico di un tempo e gestita dalla signora (credo) Paola che è di una squisitezza infinita. Abbiamo mangiato piatti della tradizione che non hanno nulla da invidiare alle tanto osannate e decantate portate gourmet. Antipasto con focaccia fritta ripiena di mortadella, pesto e pistacchi e come primo tortelli di patate con crema di parmigiano e guanciale croccante. Il gradimento di questi ultimi potrebbe essere riassunto con la frase inglese "something to die for!!". Torta di mele con crema calda e cantucci offerti con vin santo. Se potessi darei 10 stelle.

28/11/2024: We stayed there for 1 night at the beginning of November 2024 as we were on a stopover trip. I had booked the room in advance by email in Italian (you want to be polite and Google translate makes it possible) and we wanted to stay there again on our return journey (see below for what happened next). I had also reserved in advance. The room was okay (quite spartan), the bed was comfortable, but that was it. The location was in the countryside, but I know of nicer surroundings in the countryside. It may be that it works differently in summer. Since we only stayed 1 night, it didn't matter. Communication with the owners was very difficult as no one could speak a word of English. My few words of Italian were just enough. Dinner was okay, but nothing special. The breakfast was not designed for international guests. You had the choice between "sweet" and "salty": if you chose "sweet" you got 3 pieces of cake. Salty consisted of a ham/salami plate with a very small piece of cheese and white bread. Only when asked was a piece of butter added. No honey, no ricotta, no jam - nothing. One could almost assume that international guests either didn't come here or that the owners simply didn't care. I don't know what the great Tripadvisor reviews are for... Nothing came of the second night on our return journey because they had "forgotten" us! When we arrived at around 6:30 p.m. everything was dark. When I called, I tried to explain it to her with my few words of Italian. Then she probably remembered - and she just hung up!! To date there has been no apology! Nothing like this has really ever happened to me - unbelievable!

15/11/2024: The starters are good, fresh therefore the ricotta is excellent. The homemade pasta well made, we took a trio of first courses. The ricotta and spinach ravioli and the wild boar ribbons are excellent. They had forgotten to put the sauce in the potato tortelli, they were made with red oil. First flaw. We took the mixed roast as a second course: the rosticciana and sausage were good, while the sliced ​​meat was inedible due to how tough it was. The wine was almost gone, it gave heartburn. For the lunch it was, the bill was too high. For that price I ate and drank much better elsewhere. Starters.... 5 ⭐️ First courses.... 4 ⭐️ Second... 3 ⭐️ Wine.... 1 ⭐️ Account.... 1 ⭐️
