24/08/2025: A nice, quaint location, but the service really leaves much to be desired. After about 40 minutes of waiting, someone finally arrives (I don't think it was a waiter) and asks us what we'd like to order... but without bringing us a menu. He leaves us a QR code and leaves. We call him back shortly after to order and ask about the Fiorentina steak, specifically whether the portion size is suitable for one person. He tells us yes. After almost two hours of waiting, the steak arrives, already sliced, evidently intended for two, along with the side dishes. Neither plates nor silverware are brought to us: we have to specifically ask for them. In the end, we paid €96 for the steak, and when we pointed out again that we'd asked for a portion for one person, the cashier indifferently replied that the meat was "1.6 kg... as if it were normal to consider it a single portion." I should point out that we hadn't been told the weight of the steak, so we trusted the waiter's reply that he'd serve a Florentine steak for one person. An extremely disappointing experience.

Aside from the after-work railway atmosphere (no offense to the worthy Italian railway workers), I haven't eaten so badly since my military service. The Tuscan crostini appetizer consisted of slices of bread spread with tuna sauce and melted cheese!! And a single dish of truly awful livers. The tagliatelle with wild boar was overcooked, drowned in tomato, and truly made you long for the Star sauces. The waitress came to take your order without even providing you with a menu with the corresponding prices. Never again!!
