29/12/2024: After years, it was wonderful to find Paolo again at Osteria del Rosso. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The Rosso cutting board is a must, rich and tasty. The first dish we chose was simply divine, and the liver was cooked to perfection. The dessert also ended on a high note. Excellent food quality, impeccable service and honest prices. If you are in Grassina, you can't miss this tavern!

19/10/2024: I had dinner at 588 with a friend and we had an unforgettable evening. Let's start by saying that the restaurant is located in a wonderful setting immersed in the greenery of the Florentine hills and stands out for the refinement and accuracy of the details, from the surrounding furnishings to the impeccable equipment. The waitresses pampered and spoiled us from the first to the last moment, carefully explaining every single dish and accompanying us on what was a real journey into the flavors of Tuscany. As for the food, what can I say... a unique experience! We tried the tasting menu (which I highly recommend!) and each dish was a discovery. The chef experiments and plays with new combinations and I must say that they are always spot on! just to give an example, I fell in love with tortellini filled with lamb brains, smoked trout with its eggs and wild fennel (said by someone who has never particularly loved brains, I couldn't help but change my mind!) or cured meats made by the chef (never tried anything like it)...the desserts leave you speechless, try it! Thank you for a wonderful evening..we will definitely be back!

03/10/2024: Evening among the olive trees, particular location with a glass window overlooking the beautiful swimming pool. Precise but not formal service, very courteous and attentive. Tasty dishes that require a lot of care and research. The wine list is satisfactory. I recommend it for an evening full of taste and good food. The bill is a little high but given the quality and culinary knowledge, I would say it is still in line..

02/01/2025: Honestly, I was very disappointed... having been a customer for more than 10 years, I can't even find the words to describe the service, the waiters one worse than the other as well as being disorganized and also very rude... except Marco..., the dishes compared to months ago reduced and much worse, poorly cared for, honestly if before it was my favorite restaurant after this time I don't even take it into consideration and as they say where I come from: they can put them in salt for me!!!

03/01/2025: A charming Florentine trattoria where you can eat typical Tuscan dishes of very good quality. The staff is very attentive, fast service. The owner is very nice. The Florentine steak is a signature dish that really impressed us. Very important is that it is a non-touristy place and Italians - local residents and residents of Florence - eat there. It is located in the hills outside of Florence with beautiful views of the entire city from the terrace. The only thing is that you need a vehicle or taxi to get there.

01/11/2024: Tuvimos el placer de cenar en el ‘Tre Rane’, el restaurante Ruffino, donde se pueden degustar algunos platos icónicos de la Toscana , reinventados con talento por los jóvenes chefs Fabio e Daniele. Presentación excepcional, excelentes sabores y, por supuesto, maridaje perfecto con Riserva Ducale Oro! ¡Un postre de pistacho increíble para cerrar un almuerzo perfecto! Esta fue una inmersión completa en un sueño encantador de la Toscana, sin duda recomiendo Tre Rane si la buena cena es su pasión! Grazie Ruffino per la grande cura e passione e talento con cui mantenete al massimo livello i vini eccezionali, la cucina deliziosa e insomma la bellezza infinita della nostra Toscana!

29/12/2024: Small family-run pizzeria, an institution in the small village of Grassina, a hamlet of Bagno A Ripoli..the owners are kind and welcoming..wife, husband and their 3 children. I would say a perfect mix for their restaurant..the food.very good. and the prices are more than affordable...but I would like to underline their pizza, the fine and crunchy dough makes it one of their strengths which has stood out for decades...it's worth a stop ...ah!! it's always best to book

11/10/2024: We actually prefer to try a different restaurant every day, but we liked this one so much that we went there two days in a row, and we probably would have come even more often if the opening times had been right. The restaurant has a small menu, exclusively in Italian (you may need to download an offline translator, as there is no cell phone reception in the restaurant), but that's not a bad thing, as the waiter is happy to give recommendations and also explains which variants (e.g. classic carbonara, or a variant with fish) the dishes are possible. Here you can really see how much fun both the waiter and the chef are having, the dishes taste really delicious and are combined brilliantly! Example is a codfish (in German, cod) served on small orange slices along with caramelized onions (seen in the last picture). I would never have thought of the combination myself, but it tastes incredibly good! Someone here really knows a thing or two about cooking! On the first evening we also had the Florentine steak to share and try. Absolutely worth it!
