08/02/2025: Ancient food shop which over time transformed into a restaurant. Excellent food, excellent conviviality. Spartan service and substantial dishes. The cold cuts are top notch.

15/01/2025: 4 of us had dinner with two platters of very good cheeses and cold cuts, then pappardelle with roe deer and testaroli with pesto, peloso and fried chicken, all very good. Typical restaurant atmosphere, very welcoming and personal friendly and prepared. We will definitely be back for a fair price for what we ate

19/10/2024: I had dinner at 588 with a friend and we had an unforgettable evening. Let's start by saying that the restaurant is located in a wonderful setting immersed in the greenery of the Florentine hills and stands out for the refinement and accuracy of the details, from the surrounding furnishings to the impeccable equipment. The waitresses pampered and spoiled us from the first to the last moment, carefully explaining every single dish and accompanying us on what was a real journey into the flavors of Tuscany. As for the food, what can I say... a unique experience! We tried the tasting menu (which I highly recommend!) and each dish was a discovery. The chef experiments and plays with new combinations and I must say that they are always spot on! just to give an example, I fell in love with tortellini filled with lamb brains, smoked trout with its eggs and wild fennel (said by someone who has never particularly loved brains, I couldn't help but change my mind!) or cured meats made by the chef (never tried anything like it)...the desserts leave you speechless, try it! Thank you for a wonderful evening..we will definitely be back!

03/10/2024: Evening among the olive trees, particular location with a glass window overlooking the beautiful swimming pool. Precise but not formal service, very courteous and attentive. Tasty dishes that require a lot of care and research. The wine list is satisfactory. I recommend it for an evening full of taste and good food. The bill is a little high but given the quality and culinary knowledge, I would say it is still in line..

11/10/2024: We actually prefer to try a different restaurant every day, but we liked this one so much that we went there two days in a row, and we probably would have come even more often if the opening times had been right. The restaurant has a small menu, exclusively in Italian (you may need to download an offline translator, as there is no cell phone reception in the restaurant), but that's not a bad thing, as the waiter is happy to give recommendations and also explains which variants (e.g. classic carbonara, or a variant with fish) the dishes are possible. Here you can really see how much fun both the waiter and the chef are having, the dishes taste really delicious and are combined brilliantly! Example is a codfish (in German, cod) served on small orange slices along with caramelized onions (seen in the last picture). I would never have thought of the combination myself, but it tastes incredibly good! Someone here really knows a thing or two about cooking! On the first evening we also had the Florentine steak to share and try. Absolutely worth it!

08/02/2025: Yesterday my friends and I ordered three takeaways for 8.15pm. The pizzas arrived 15 minutes early and remained warm. The pizzas were well made and tasty. I took a red one with truffle and cooked ham (paid €12), drinks not included. Advise! 🍕

01/01/2025: We joined Tre Rane Ruffino for their New Year’s Eve dinner and, unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The dishes lacked flavor and creativity. At one point, we were served cold, processed turkey deli meat over spinach—something far below the standard you’d expect, especially in Italy, a country renowned for its culinary excellence. Even the bread, a staple of any meal, was bland and unremarkable. This was particularly disappointing because we booked this experience expecting something special and memorable. Instead, it felt like an overpriced, poorly executed event that offered little to no value. To add to the frustration, the wine tour included in the dinner was conducted exclusively in Italian, despite the organizers knowing we weren’t native speakers. Spending so much money on such a subpar experience left us deeply dissatisfied. We had hoped for a unique and enjoyable celebration, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations.

31/12/2024: We celebrated a birthday at lunch on Sunday. I didn't know this place, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the always smiling service staff, by the quality and goodness of the dishes, and I particularly appreciated the surprise of the unsolicited candle on the birthday girl's dessert! Thanks, I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!!!!

18/01/2025: In Capannuccia you can find Tomassina, a place with a rustic and characteristic atmosphere. Possibility of having breakfast with croissants and coffee, as well as lunch and dinner with squash and pizza. Pizza on top, thin and crunchy dough, slightly hard when flattened, grainy but tasty. Top ingredients, friendly staff. Advised
