16/06/2025: The place has gotten worse since it was renovated. It has dead colors like gray and the atmosphere is that of a company canteen. Before the renovation the portions were decent, now they are halved. When there is the Fair in Terranuova Bracciolini they are even half of half. And the price remains the same. Last night I ordered a tomato salad that consisted of a tomato with two basil leaves on a very large plate, I should have paid half of what it cost. But the thing that surprised me even more and for which I had not been back for a long time was the behavior of the owner in a specific moment. It was me and my mother, an elderly woman, we were eating in peace when the waiter who served us, a bit with the typical Neapolitan color and talking continuously and in a different voice asked me for my phone number. I was incredulous and very embarrassed, and I was not, as I am now, savvy enough to know how not to let off the intrusive people immediately. Caught off guard, I gave it to him right then and there, even though I didn't want to. He gave me his and, as soon as I left the place, I immediately wrote him a message asking him to delete my number A strange memory flashed in my house. When, many years ago, someone told me that you have to be nice to waiters otherwise they might spit in your plate. So I took courage and went to the owner to simply ask her that when I returned there to eat she should serve me a different waiter. And I explained to her why. If the restaurant had been mine, I would have immediately apologized for what had happened and maybe, or rather probably, I would have offered a dinner to do so in a tangible way. She instead started talking and talking, still amazed that I didn't feel flattered by a man's compliments. She said that women should always feel flattered by men's compliments. That many men act like flatters even with her who knows how to handle herself and bullshit like that. Now, if she likes to receive compliments from men, that's not my problem. But I don't think at all that a waiter should take these confidences without invitation and without authorization, without a justifying context. I haven't been back for a long time. Last night was a coincidence because there was no parking available elsewhere, but I doubt I'll ever go back. That waiter stopped working there after a while, and the one who is currently there on a regular basis, Massimo, is a discreet person and does his job without ever being intrusive. Despite this, I'm not satisfied with too many aspects.

09/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati qui per il secondo anno dovendo alloggiare nel vicino hotel per spezzare un viaggio in autostrada. Ancora più buono della prima volta. Personale gentile e accogliente, cucina tipica con un menu non lunghissimo ma vario: carne pesce, primi e pizza. Fanno anche cocktail e tutto è preparato da loro con prodotti di qualità. Atmosfera rilassante ma non formale e prezzi nella media.

22/06/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. The only authentic Moroccan restaurant in Valdarno. The food was delicious, typical and tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. The owner of the restaurant was kind and available to explain all the dishes on the menu. All in all, really excellent!
