26/12/2023: I was there in August and I don't feel like giving more than 3 stars given the service.
The food was really good and the dishes fresh and balanced. The environment is also extremely nice.
Unfortunately, although we had pre-booked a table for 9.30pm, when we arrived we were told that it wouldn't be available for at least another 30 minutes as the previous table had been late. The 30 minutes then became 50.
Also considering the above average prices, one would also expect a more attentive service.
08/10/2023: We had dinner in the internal garden! Beautiful atmosphere! Perfectly cooked tuna, fresh fish and couscous done to perfection!

Trattoria da Mariella's spaghetti alle vongole is made with fresh local mussels, garlic, white wine, olive oil and pepperoncino. The dish is simple but full of flavor.

Plus a local wine that goes well with the dish.
02/11/2023: Disappointment. Several dishes displayed on the external menu were missing. Since there was no fillet, they recommended the counter fillet which was actually a 3mm thick slice of meat. The busiata alla trapanese was barely edible.

09/10/2023: Good ice cream shop and good ice cream. Seating available on wooden benches in the outdoor garden. Availability of different flavors of ice cream and granita. Many flavors of the Sicilian tradition.

13/12/2023: The place is not very cozy, inside there is a stuffy atmosphere of yesterday's tobacco - please air it out. Friendly service. We tried pizza, bocaccia and vegetable stew (I forgot the name). Everything was good, no stomach problems. Can be recommended.

30/03/2024: So, me and my friend Bartolo, after having been to restaurants with ice cream, we went to "el sombrero" and I have to say, I ordered a pizza with my cousin, he was so happy that I did the pizza similar to "pac man". Apart from that we ate very well, the only thing that was bad was the resemblance to a sauna because there was too much heat, but probably in Mexico it is pure like that.

The little lights on the adjustable tables are cute, let you see the Siamese cat they have as a mascot.

17/10/2023: Geweldige Arancini, drankjes en broodjes gehaald terwijl we op het strand in San Vito lo Capo lagen. Even rustig in de schaduw op bankje zitten genieten. Prijzen zijn goed.
17/10/2023: Apprezzata la qualità del cibo tanto che in pochi giorni siamo andati tre volte, e la gentilezza del ragazzo in cassa. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.
