25/07/2025: I am very disappointed with this restaurant. We came, the food was delicious but in the end everything got worse, I don't know why they say 24h open, in our country it is normal somewhere so we counted on it being open. In the end it was closed already at 23h. On gmaps it says 24hoein open, on imaps until 3am So I don't know where to find out the opening hours, we are certainly not the first ones who got fooled. However the food was delicious, but this really annoyed us that's why I'm giving a bad rating so that everyone will notice.

14/04/2026: Looks to be very popular, as there are always people there, but maybe that's because it takes so long to get served. The food was good overall. I got a large beer with my meal, was expecting a Moretti, Peroni or similar, got served a not-so nice wheat beer, for which I was charged €10. I should have gone inside to see the selection first.

22/12/2025: At least the lemon was good. Encouraged by the reviews, we went to this restaurant. The staff were friendly and polite, the service was excellent, and the service was fast. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't live up to expectations. The fish appetizer was expensive, and the fish didn't taste or smell fresh. The swordfish rolls were good, but very small, not commensurate with the price. I wouldn't go back.

22/09/2025: I returned after seven years and can only confirm the positive experience. Beautiful atmosphere, quiet location just outside the center of San Vito lo Capo. Excellent and beautifully presented dishes. Good service and friendly staff. Average prices. Recommended!

22/04/2026: A Peruvian restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo? It might sound strange, but I assure you, the real strangeness is walking in only to have to endure their service, their food, and their remarkable nerve. Behind this decidedly disappointing establishment lies a group of crafty people, convinced they can fleece tourists as if we were all clueless fresh off the bus. But tourists, fortunately, aren't that naive. The atmosphere is rather perplexing, with a decidedly chaotic decor: furniture that looks like it was borrowed from a slightly confused grandmother's living room, Slovakian and Ukrainian flags hung here and there as if we were in Bratislava or Kiev, all in a supposedly Peruvian restaurant in Sicily. The geographical confusion is so confusing it makes you wonder what continent you're on. Service is entrusted to a waiter with a complete lack of restaurant skills, who moves around the dining room with extreme awkwardness. His work style, unfortunately, borders on incompetence. He struggles to communicate clearly, can't maintain a flowing conversation, and seems incapable of understanding the most basic requests from customers. The restaurant's management clearly pushes him into overdrive in an attempt to take advantage of him. Case in point: ask for a simple children's juice, and he shoves a ten-euro fruit cocktail in front of you. Their sales tactics are questionable, to say the least: they offer you shots "on the house," only to then, magically, charge you six euros each. They're classic tourist traps, so dated that anyone could spot them from a mile away. And now we come to the sore point: the food. Calling it "embarrassing" is a compliment; it's a real disappointment to the palate. They serve dishes prepared without the slightest care: everything tastes like prepackaged food, reheated in the microwave, with haphazard spices, and a strong sense of being ripped off. Let's take the fresh seafood busiate: there's very little that's "fresh." They're served in a loose sauce reminiscent of discount store products and have a seafood smell that I'd describe as unreassuring. The fish soup a lo macho is a real mess, a cloudy broth with ingredients that are difficult to identify floating in it: a dish that doesn't do justice to either the Sicilian sea or Peruvian tradition. The picante puka is a dull, grayish cream, far removed from the colors and flavors of the proud Andean recipe, and is as spicy as a tub of plain yogurt. And finally, the ceviche, which looks as if it were made with fish that wasn't exactly fresh, literally drowned in lemon juice that tastes like a cheap, industrial product. In short: it's low-end airport cuisine, but without the excuse of high altitude and with the disadvantage of decidedly exorbitant prices for what they offer. And to top it off, with a certain lack of professionalism, they present you with a handwritten bill on a crumpled piece of paper, as if we were decades behind the times and not the 21st century. In short, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are much better places in San Vito Lo Capo to spend your money without losing your patience and, more importantly, your appetite.

27/12/2025: We went in December before the holidays. The pizza was terrible. The ingredients, like the prosciutto and cheese, were stale, and the dough was rubbery. There were no drinks on the menu, though the waitress quickly ran to a nearby store to get them. The waitress smiled and didn't speak a word of English. The price was given off the top of my head, with no receipt.

16/11/2025: The pizza was poor quality. We got a dry piece of dough that couldn't even be cut or chewed. I don't understand how someone could serve something that could hardly be called a meal. I don't recommend it!

29/03/2026: The problem is, we waited an hour for our food, even though only two people arrived after us. We don't know what the owner (who is also the chef) was doing during that time. At home, I can prepare spaghetti carbonara and grilled calamari in half an hour. What kind of wait times must there be when the restaurant is full?

17/09/2025: An old hotel, you can tell from the entrance facade that it's not well-maintained. On a positive note, it's really just steps from the sea. There's no elevator. Breakfast was poor, dinner was plentiful. The towels in the room were very scratchy; almost every evening we had to ask for shower gel because they forgot to leave them. There's a sign on the refrigerator in the room saying that if they found food or drinks inside, they wouldn't charge for its rental. I find that ridiculous! The clothesline outside the window was baked by the sun. In the evenings, the room always smelled of food because the kitchen was located below our room.

27/07/2025: Io e mio marito siamo stati in questo ristorante più di una volta a cena durante la nostra vacanza. Di recente apertura, offre un meno tipico. Cibo molto buono, ben lavorato e ben servito. Davvero eccellente la zuppa di cozze. Ottimo anche il pesce spada in umido e le busiate al pesce spada. Molto buono anche il servizio è il rapporto qualità - prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

29/10/2025: Very, very bad! We were the only table eating on the terrace. The food for all five of us was tasteless and some of it was just not good. There was a hair in my food! When we asked if frozen seafood had been used in the pasta, the answer was: "It could be." The service was very unfriendly and unprofessional; the two of them were overwhelmed despite there being only two or three tables having drinks. There were long wait times. Poor value for money; the food was also relatively expensive. We will definitely not be coming back.

31/08/2025: A friend and I stayed at this hotel the first week of August 2025. We had a great time; the rooms were always clean and tidy, with towels changed daily. The breakfast was varied and complete, including homemade desserts. The staff was friendly and helpful. A heartfelt thank you ❤️ to Luana for her kindness and helpful advice. Hugs!

01/11/2025: Ficodindia is a true gem in San Vito Lo Capo! The location is incredibly romantic, perfect for a special evening. The food is truly delicious, with carefully prepared dishes and authentic flavors that showcase local traditions with a modern twist. The staff is welcoming and attentive.

25/02/2026: The hot and cold gelato is very good, with unique combinations that are truly enjoyable and well-executed. Table service was also very efficient and fast, and the staff is attentive and courteous, even though the place can get crowded during peak hours. And the view while you eat your gelato is priceless: looking out over the sea makes the experience even more enjoyable and makes you want to stay a little longer. I definitely recommend stopping here for a delicious break with a view.
