I asked for a table for 2 people comforted by the fact that a table for 2 had just become available but... a gentleman who I believe was the owner in a rude, rude and impolite manner replied to me that it would take 45 minutes to set the table. Absolutely to avoid

24/02/2025: Abbiamo ordinato delle busiate con frutti di mare che sono arrivate scotte e senza sale , peccato perche alla vista il piatto si presentava bene , ma evidentemente lo chef o era troppo giovane ed inesperto , oppure anziano e stanco in quanto tali errori così banali non possono passare da uno chef di mestiere . Abbiamo pagato 50 euro per 2 primi ed una bottiglia d'acqua e quando ho chiesto la fattura ho spiazzato il titolare che aveva problemi con il software . Vivamente sconsigliato nel rapporto qualità e prezzo

04/10/2024: Metto tre stelle solo per la bellezza del locale. Per quanto riguarda la cucina, cous cous di pesce che non aveva alcun sapore, molto più buono quello degli stand del cous cous festival in spiaggia ed il brik era un uovo alla coque pieno di olio. La persona che ha preso l’ordinazione, non ne ho la certezza che fosse il proprietario, al momento di prendere la comanda e dopo 5 secondi ho fatto aggiungere un’altro piatto si è rivolto in maniera poco carina quasi rimproverandomi che la comanda era già partita. Servizio troppo veloce, in maniera esagerata aggiungerei come a volerci fare alzare subito.

29/09/2024: Questa si che è stata una cena in tema con le serate in corso del cous cous fest. Poi, Gioele ha saputo presentare egregiamente e con stile il vino che avevamo scelto, oltre alla cortesia e la disponibilità dell'intero staff. Complimenti a tutti

01/10/2024: Of all the beach places in San Vito, this is one that works very hard and offers low quality/price. The quality is good and wide ranging from croissants, ravazzate, coffee, salad caps, arancina etc. The owners are approachable, quick and friendly. The only ones in San Vito where we found the town dirty and very touristy with the rudeness of the other managers.

10/11/2024: Here is a review for L'Oasi di Paolo: I had an unforgettable stay at L'Oasi di Paolo in Sicily, and I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough! It is an enchanting place, family-run, where every detail is taken care of with love and attention. The staff is uniquely kind: always available and ready to make guests feel at home. We had chosen half board, and I can say that it was a perfect choice. Each meal was a true culinary experience, with dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The cuisine is authentically Sicilian, and each course left us speechless. You can see the passion with which each dish is prepared: divine flavors and generous portions that reflect the typical hospitality of the region. Paolo's Oasis is truly a small paradise, where you can relax and enjoy the real Sicily. We can't wait to return!

10/11/2024: This is the worst place ever… The pizza is drenched in oil; it looks and tastes like a frozen pizza. The carbonara is the driest pasta I have ever eaten, with no carbonara taste at all. The orange juice is full of ice and water, with no orange flavor and no sweetness… The pizza dough tastes like it’s several days old. We were forcing ourselves to eat it only because we were so hungry… and they automatically included a service fee, even though we didn’t want to tip at all. I have never eaten somewhere this bad before… We traveled three hours just to eat the worst food ever….

12/10/2024: Tuvimos una experiencia decepcionante en A Lampara. Varios platos y vinos enumerados en el menú no estaban disponibles, lo que limitó nuestras opciones desde el principio. El servicio fue golpeado o fallado — mientras que el caballero mayor fue educado, un miembro del personal fue grosero, incluso arrojando los platos sobre la mesa. El equipo también parecía desorganizado, llevándonos vino de la casa y un Aperol Spritz que nunca pedimos. La comida en sí era abrumadora, con porciones pequeñas, y el risotto ai frutti di mare* sabía a arroz precocinado. Desafortunadamente, no es un lugar que recomendaría.

I can never understand how in San Vito lo Capo, 100 meters from the sea, from the fish shop and from those who sell fresh fish, in all the restaurants they serve you the catch of the day: while in this restaurant they cook you the FISH OF THE YEAR.... Un lido magnifico, dove la tranquillità e l'impeccabilità di ogni tipo di servizio rendono questa piattaforma sul mare una perla incastonata tra il blu e la natura di San vito Lo Capo. Il faro sea club offre una serie di servizi ineccepibili: docce calde, spogliatoio, angolo per aperitivo, nonché un'ottima ristorazione di varie tipologie e prezzi. Il ristorante sul mare offre un panorama spettacolare. Il servizio in piattaforma ombrelloni ti fa sentire amato e coccolato. Il faro sea club offre uno spazio riservato e rispettoso della privacy grazie ale prenotazioni on line e telefoniche di cui ci si può avvalere, come abbiamo fatto noi. Le due scale di discesa ammmare sono uno spettacolo di bellezza e sicurezza con facilità di discesa e di risalita. Personalmente un incanto per me che vivo a Roma. Il faro sea club ti fa sentire in famiglia e per tale motivo un ringraziamento speciale al Signor Mimmo che ha offerto servizi extra al signor M. Pulvirenti e alla sottoscrittta, rendendo più agevole il soggiorno, con la cordialità che questa terra offre generosamente. Luogo consigliatissimo. Torneremo ancora. A presto.
