09/09/2023: Siamo stati a pranzo in famiglia in questo ristirante a gestione famigliare. E' in buona posizione vicino al porto e alla via principale. I piatti sono molto buoni e preparati con passione (vera cucina casereccia fatta in casa, non commerciale) e i titolari molto gentili e simpatici. Prezzi giusti. Consiglio questo locale, ci tornerò.

06/10/2023: Cucina buona, peccato che nella "sala" ci fosse puzza di letame di cavallo visto che era palesemente una stalla riadattata. Prezzi esagerati per l'offerta.

17/09/2023: Si mangia nel cortile dell baglio, davvero carino e fresco. La cucina tipica è quella autentica, non adattata al gusto dell turista. In particolare mi sono piaciute le busiate alla trapanese, buono il tagliere di formaggi mentre del tagliere di salumi alcuni erano davvero buono mentre altro più insipidì. Il cannolo destrutturato è di qualità.

02/10/2023: ATTENTION PRICES! A few evenings ago, my wife and I passed by the place during the cus cus festival, attracted by the sign offering a good price for meat and fish cus cus, a few euros more than the one on the stands. The sign in the photo shows 12 euros for both. Since we are not naive, having checked on the menu that the prices were higher than on the sign (but given the festival period we thought that there could be an adjustment to the price) we expressly indicated that we entered for what was advertised and that we wanted those two dishes in poster. They took the order without adding anything! All very good but when the bill arrived the surprise, expertly organised, of making us pay €18 (meat) and €14 (fish) respectively. We asked the waiter for explanations and he embarrassedly told us that he didn't know anything and that the sign outside was recent, that he would go and talk to the owner. He came back, almost trying to bargain, showing us that a 2 euro discount had been included on the receipt. I laughed when I said that the "discount" had to be 8 euros :) At that point he went back to talk to the owner and we followed him to the checkout. The owner nodded and mumbled something saying that the price on the receipt was correct. We paid and left without saying anything else basically because for 6 euros they didn't deserve our time and discussions. The dishes are good (I would have given 4 stars) but... it's a shame for this attitude aimed at scamming the tourist. It's already bad that they try (the doubt remains whether it was done on purpose or not) but that they even insist on this strategy even when it is pointed out to them, it means that there is profound bad faith!

28/04/2024: Motivati dalla fiction televisiva Macari, abbiamo voluto conoscere i luoghi resi noti al grande pubblico dai due protagonisti principali Saverio La Manna e Piccionello , facendo prima un sopraluogo alla villa loro dimora poi andandoci a sedere a tavola nella meravigliosa terrazza del ristorante il Pocho da dove lo sguardo esterefatto si perde sulla baia di Custonaci - San Vito lo Capo e in profondita la riserva dello zingaro dove svetta imponente il monte Cofano . Le aspettative culinarie non sono state tradite , da portate preparate con destro accompagnate da un buon servizio a tavola. Permettetemi di sottolineare la codialita , la simpatia e il sapere interfacciarsi con i clienti con eleganza e un sorriso dispensato gratuitamente da Chiara , che ritengo sia l'anima della struttura . Un appunto a margine di questa recensione che non cambia il giudizio complessivo e finale , a nostro avviso alcuni prezzi andrebbero meglio rapportati alle portate proposte, altresi premurarsi sempre della disponibilita dei prodotti proposti nel menu per assecondare l'ordinazione del cliente . Ritorneremo con piacere a sederci nella terazza del Poncho per goderci il meraviglioso panorama e riassapore i gusti della cucina mediterranea .

Lication deliziosa personale gentilissimo e preparato piatti veranente di qualità eccelsa.... Carbonara di pesce eccezionale spiedino di pesce spada sublime.. Ottimo il dolce e ottimo vino il conto in kinea cin quanto mangiato.... Super consigliato.... A presto

13/04/2024: I really liked the place, just a stone's throw from the beach, a good place to invigorate yourself, the pizzas were really good, and the dishes were fresh, we wanted to discover Sicilian dishes, so we tried to ask the service if we could try some of the antipasti and she brought us a platter of mignardise with a bit of everything, it's adorable, we enjoyed it, the only small negative point is the red wine, it wasn't great unfortunately , but hey it's the risk, I recommend in any case!

02/10/2023: Il miglior cannolo di San Vito lo Capo! Ottima anche la genovese (noi l'abbiamo provata solo alla ricotta, ma c'è anche alla crema, al pistacchio e alla Nutella). Gentili e sorridenti. Consigliatissimo!

27/09/2023: Pessima esperienza. Siamo entrati nel negozio per una granita. Il contenitore con il ghiaccio era sciolto e con un brutto colore. Perciò non abbiamo preso nulla. La titolare si è talmente arrabbiata che ha iniziato ad inveire dicendo che quella era la migliore pasticceria del paese. Noi che ci eravamo seduti sui divanetti nel frattempo ci siamo alzati e lei continuava ad urlare, forse anche invogliata dalla signora anziana che le raccontava quello che stavamo dicendo. Alla fine un cannolo lo abbiamo preso, chi lo ha mangiato ha detto che non era male...ma l'acido della titolare sicuramente non aiuta! Cara Signora..cambi mestiere, è meglio!

29/10/2023: On our way to Trapani we stopped in this bar, with a 3 month old baby girl and a 5 kg elderly dog... given the heat and the scorching sun we certainly couldn't stay outside but the owner (who is worse than a beast) he rudely tells us that the dog cannot enter. First of all, according to the law, dogs can enter, but regardless of this he kicked us out with, I repeat, a three-month-old baby! And the seats outside were in the sun since he hadn't even opened the umbrellas! Luckily I didn't even have time to consume anything, this is the example that compared to the owner my dog ​​is a gentleman, much more polite and humane than this unclean being who was behind the counter. 01/11/2023: Ice cream- gelato was absolutely next level. Went here most days out of my 8 day holiday in San Vito lo Capo. Pistachio, baccio, dark chocolate, and various other deliciousness I can't pronounce.... Best ice cream of my life. I've also had coffee and waffles from here. Nice staff, table service.

06/05/2024: Poor price/performance ratio We wanted to end the last evening of our vacation with a nice dinner. The restaurant looked inviting from the outside and the menu didn't sound bad. Overall it was a bitter disappointment. Five different restaurant employees came to the table one after the other every minute to sell additional services. That was annoying! After average starters (caprese and bruschetta), the main courses were served. In particular, the Frittura Mista for 18 euros was a joke: six calamari rings, two prawns, a mini squid. Very manageable. Conclusion: walk a few meters further, there are many alternatives in town!

01/10/2023: Esperienza da non ripetere. più di un'ora di attesa tra una portata e l'altra pur essendo locale a menu fisso. Attese estenuanti e noiose. Pesce congelato.

25/04/2024: Location tipica e meravigliosa Proprietari premurosi e penso di talento… qualche piccola pecca nella scelta del personale che ovviamente fa il tutto per soldi e non per passione… la recensione negativa andrebbe fatta prima di tutto allo stato italiano, le sue leggi, e il modo barbaro di rubare soldi ai lavoratori. Chiaramente comprendo difficoltà nel trovare personale al top. Ma basta saper coccolare i propri dipendenti e le cose si aggiustano. Il punteggio basso lo devo dare per via di un piatto ordinato e le cotture vanno rispettate. Soprattutto se è l’alimento è il pesce.
