29/03/2026: I'll start by saying that the ingredients served at this restaurant are of good quality, and the sea view is definitely a plus. The staff is kind and professional, but alas... All this wasn't enough to make the evening enjoyable. Dinner started at 9:15 PM and ended at 12:30 AM. Service was VERY SLOW with only 30 diners in the dining room. The first two courses, the appetizers, were truly excellent; the rest of the dinner was either saltless or too salty. Appetizers were served in rounds (about 25 minutes apart). The stuffed pasta was cooked too al dente; you needed a knife to cut it. It was unnerving; people got up and left without even finishing their orders.

16/02/2026: Disappointing experience. We booked a set menu for Valentine's Day, so we arrived and were seated, they poured us prosecco, and that was it. For about an hour, despite calling the waiters' attention, no one showed up, so we didn't even have time to have our order taken. We got up and left!! Before leaving the restaurant, we asked if we had to pay for the prosecco poured into our glass, but they gave it to us free of charge.

04/09/2025: This pizzeria offers both classic and "long" pizzas. I tried the pizza of the day, but it didn't specify (or say anywhere) that it was "long." If I had known, I wouldn't have chosen it, especially because of the price: for €15, I expect a large, well-topped pizza, while the long version is a bit smaller and thicker than a regular pizza, although the waitress was careful to point out that the dough is the same. Given that I chose this pizzeria because I don't like thick pizzas, I was quite disappointed. The pizza was good and light, but nothing exceptional.

04/09/2025: Superb pizzas, both for their dough and quality ingredients. A small place in the center of Castellammare, but well-designed, with a garden area that also creates a beautiful ambiance. I had a pizza with scamorza and mushrooms, which was incredibly good. For two pizzas and a beer, we paid €40, in line with the somewhat uniform prices in town. The staff were incredibly friendly. The service was very fast. We'll be back during our stay.

10/11/2025: Fish dinner Everything was very tasty, but it's a shame the room was really crowded, even a little too crowded 😅

07/10/2025: Very nice place, on the sea. Really good food. The homemade pasta was delicious. The fried calamari was excellent and light. The peppered mussels were tasty, and the dessert was also very good. Excellent service, accompanied by friendliness and a smile. The price was fair. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: We came to Tenute Plaia with modest expectations, after a few disappointing meals elsewhere. What we found instead was a place of quiet balance, the view and stillness alone felt restorative. We dined on the terrace, overlooking the hills and the sea. The air was calm, the setting serene, the kind of silence that feels alive rather than empty. From the first greeting, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel instantly at ease. The food was exceptional: authentic Sicilian cooking with depth and honesty. Every dish carried a sense of place, clear flavors, thoughtful execution, nothing showy. We were the only guests that evening (perhaps because we came early around 7 PM), but the solitude made the experience even more memorable. In essence, Tenute Plaia doesn’t aim to impress, it simply delivers truth through simplicity. A place where food, landscape, and calm coexist naturally.

12/03/2026: I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, but in Sicily, it's unacceptable to serve an arancini with soggy breading and overcooked rice. Even the sfincione, well-risen, could have been better. Perhaps it was late and we were just unlucky...

01/02/2026: The pane cunzatu is the best. I've been coming to this bakery for years, it's always open, a unique place, today at 9 in the morning a wonderful bread that I couldn't resist.

29/03/2026: Lovely spot by the harbor. Staff very reserved 😔. Unfortunately, no snacks to go with the Spritz and wine. We're used to better in Sicily. What a shame…

22/03/2026: A very satisfying dinner! I noticed some improvement from the already good level I remembered. Spectacular uramaki and then a truly exquisite scampi and truffle risotto. Well done, congratulations.
