Quality craft beer and the chef's desserts are truly amazing.
The place is very cute, clean, and welcoming, and, not to be underestimated, has the perfect lighting to make the most of the evening.
Highly recommended!
01/02/2026: We had high expectations, considering the two Gambero Rosso stars, but unfortunately the experience didn't quite live up to them. We ordered a gluten-free Margherita and a Capricciosa: we expected something more, both in terms of the dough and the overall quality. The pizzas were too heavy with toppings, especially the gluten-free Margherita, with excessive mozzarella. We weren't entirely convinced by the taste either, and at the end of the meal we found them a bit heavy and difficult to digest. That said, the location is truly lovely, with indoor and outdoor dining (covered in the winter), an open kitchen, and an excellent wine selection. The staff was extremely friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

Recommended, we weren't disappointed.
The arancino with ham and mozzarella was good but not memorable, while the one with ragù won us over with its richness and quality of filling.
We loved the scacce.

25/08/2025: Very nice staff! We ordered two Arancini, one with Ragu and one with spinach and cheese. Very tasty and affordable! Especially for a quick pit stop.

20/11/2025: We waited half an hour to be served but no one came to the table to take a simple reservation, in my opinion you should pay more attention to the tables and not stay distracted talking without first providing service to the customer.

As a Settecolli player and Italian showdown champion, I can say that, between training sessions, a stop here has become a ritual... and perhaps I owe part of my fame to their legendary carrot cake! 🥕🏆☕️

Trattoria tipica locale con piatti cucinati a regola d’arte. Ci siamo fermati per il pranzo della domenica, il posto ci ha invogliato perché molto tranquillo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità delle pietanze. A completare l’esperienza la splendida gestione familiare e la simpatia del sig. Ignazio. Torneremo di sicuro!

My wife went to buy pizza dough for our family pizza night at home. They gave all the fresh dough, board and rolling pin for a very reasonable price!
Staff couldn’t speak much English but with a little help from Google translate they provided great friendly service.
Would definitely recommend a visit, whether you want to eat tasty pizzas made on site or help with having your own pizza making experience.

29/07/2024: Esperienza veramente deludente. Guai a chiedere una variante sui condimenti delle pizze perché è tutto preparato in anticipo, alla faccia di intolleranze e allergie. Attesa interminabile, durante la quale sono stati serviti tavoli arrivati ben dopo di noi. Tengo a precisare che al nostro arrivo il locale era praticamente vuoto e c'erano non più di cinque o sei persone in fila per l'asporto. Alla nostra richiesta di spiegazioni un cameriere ineducato e arrogante ha tentato di sbugiardarci. Ho lavorato nella ristorazione dieci anni, se hai perso la comanda o ci sono stati problemi rimedi. E infatti quando sono entrata, scocciatissima, dopo un'ora, per pagare birra e acqua, hanno ammesso che era proprio quello che era successo. Ma occhio, perché io vivo a Donnalucata da anni enl quando sento parlottare capisco perfettamente lo sciclitano. Scorretti e poco simpatici. Mai più.
25/07/2024: Sconsiglio, dopo più di un'ora di attesa con il locale quasi vuoto non ci avevano ancora servito l'ordinazione: due pizze. Alla richiesta di spiegazioni il cameriere rispondeva in modo sgarbato. Siamo andati via senza cenare! Consiglio, volete una pizza a Donnalucata andate altrove.
