25/10/2025: When I go to Scicli with my family and friends, I always return to this restaurant. The quality and price are impeccable. The outdoor location is spectacular, in the most beautiful little square in the heart of Sicilian Baroque, near the Montalbano police station. It's very well-kept and beautiful inside, even on the coldest days. The owner, Franco, and his wife, Maria, are wonderful people. I highly recommend it. See you next time!!!

11/07/2025: At Carmelo's we had excellent pizzas, cooked to perfection and with a truly exceptional variety of flavors. The arancini were delicious. Four of us were able to sit at a table outside, and the staff was extremely kind and friendly. A truly wonderful experience.

04/08/2025: I had the pleasure of tasting the typical Ragusa scacce and arancini with ragù at this welcoming and refined restaurant. The atmosphere is clean and tidy, and the prices are unbeatable, especially considering the excellent quality of the food. As a native of Scicli, and a cook at heart, I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I hope to return soon! Best wishes to everyone who works at this rotisserie.

24/10/2025: The location was beautiful, and the food (we had a small appetizer) was delicious. A slice of bruschetta cost €11, a regular coffee €6, and a cappuccino €8. A bottle of water also cost €6. The drinks weren't listed on the menu. We think it was a rip-off and not a pleasant vacation experience.

12/10/2025: We've finally found the Sicilian cuisine we were looking for, the kind made for friends and family, the kind you'd want to take home and eat every day, even after your vacation. 07/09/2025: Always a guarantee of quality and the beauty of its location. The woman who served us was very knowledgeable regarding the celiac disease of one of our guests. Pizzas of many varieties and with tasty and unique ingredients. Excellent value for money, with fries and beers, we paid €15 per person. One star less because some pizzas were not cooked well and because the gluten-free pizza base was not made by them.

27/08/2025: If we had listened to Google reviews, we would have passed. Fortunately, we decided to follow the much more relevant advice of the Guide du Routard, which recommended the place. And indeed, the pizzas, both the dough and the other ingredients, were excellent (be careful with the olives, however, which retain their pits). The service was very good, with sufficiently attentive waitresses. We showed up at 7 on a Wednesday at the end of August, without a reservation, and were seated right away. In short, a very good experience, in the heart of a very picturesque neighborhood of Scicli.

As a Settecolli player and Italian showdown champion, I can say that, between training sessions, a stop here has become a ritual... and perhaps I owe part of my fame to their legendary carrot cake! 🥕🏆☕️

13/10/2025: Scicli is already a busy place in the evening, but we had a wonderful meal here. The service was fast, and the dishes, a blend of innovation and tradition, were truly spectacular. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: We were recommended this place from our Airbnb host but we were disappointed. The food was actually delicious and the wine selection plentiful, but the service was terrible. Rude waiting staff (except for one lady who was perhaps the sommelier) and this really dampened our experience. Pre-booking our table via email was easy and very friendly but unfortunately this did not continue into our visit. Quite a disappointing experience

11/09/2025: Nice bar, very popular. Parking is easy to find, and the staff is friendly and quick. There are tables both inside and out.

21/08/2025: I don't know, maybe it's changed management. When I come to Sicily on vacation, I can't wait to enjoy a good granita with cream, and this time I was disappointed with the classic cream that collapses after a minute. The other products are different, too.

Ci siamo fermati per il pranzo della domenica, il posto ci ha invogliato perché molto tranquillo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità delle pietanze. 14/09/2025: Takeout pizzeria with a wide selection of pizzas, including organic whole wheat pizzas. Excellent prices. It's a takeout pizzeria, but with tables and chairs, so you have to do everything yourself. You get your pizza on a plate, cutlery, and glasses and drinks. Very good pizzas. Recommended.

12/08/2025: Excellent takeout pizza. You can also eat in, but there's no table service.
