Ho preso una grigliata di pesce, arrivata dopo quasi un'ora d'attesa e assolutamente mediocre. Pesce spada colloso, totano crudo...insomma, non ci siamo proprio. Peccato veramente

Ho preso un arrosto misto di pesce a 25 euro contenente:
- due cicaline (tutta buccia e no sostanza)
- due gamberi (tutta buccia e no sostanza)
- due pezzettini di polipo grandi come due indici della mia mano
- un pezettino di pesce spada della grandezza di un pacchetto di sigarette
- una seppia della grandezza doppia ad un pacchetto di sigarette
Praticamente sono uscito con piu' fame di prima.
Un posto di di "mare" come Scicli dovrebbe inondare i clienti di pesce ed invece gli fa sentire solo il profumo e forse neanche quello.
25 euro lo considero un furto... ma come si fa? Certo che la gente scappa e non torna in questi posti.

17/11/2024: Unfortunately I have to express my disappointment with the evening. I often frequent this place, but this time the experience was terrible. I ordered a Lunatica Battuta pizza, specifically asking to replace the artichokes with fried aubergines. I received a pizza with artichokes, as large as the normal ones (when it should be "beaten") and slightly burnt.
I pointed out the mistake to the waitress, who said they would make it again. After about ten minutes I received a new pizza... still burnt! When I pointed out to the waiter that it was not acceptable, his response was that they made it in a hurry and that I should have simply removed the artichokes from the first one. An unacceptable and unprofessional attitude.
In the end I only ate a little of that pizza and left it, but when it came time to pay the bill, no one did anything to apologize or make up for it. A big disappointment, especially for a place I often went to. I will definitely not return again, and will not recommend it to others.

17/01/2025: We discovered this place a few years back and loved it. The huge selection of often creative toppings, the options for different bases (standard, wholemeal, gluten free etc) plus its position in the piazza made it a favourite of our whole family for a couple of years. But boy has it gone downhill. Service is just appalling: yesterday evening we waited 45 minutes for a bottle of water and a lemon soda, let alone our pizzas. Last visit was the same: we languished inside for a good hour before receiving our pizzas and then one was missing. We had to chase waiters to pay our bill and almost walked out out of frustration. There aren't nearly enough staff and those who there are are surly, unhelpful and seemingly untrained. It's clear no one is in charge. There is now only one pizza base available: standard white flour. Pizza was fine but certainly nothing special. Last night was the last straw and we have given up. No groovy branding and menu is enough to make up for Pura Follia's shortcomings, especially as there are plenty of great pizzerie in Scicli and the surrounding area.

30/09/2024: Semplicemente favoloso, di diritto nelle mia top 3 delle gelaterie preferite. Alla base di tutto materie prime di primissima qualità; basta assaggiare gusti come sesamo, carruba o ricotta e fichi per rimanere colpiti dalla bontà e delicatezza di questi gelati. Aggiungi cordialità e simpatia al bancone (Elisabetta spero di ricordarmi giustamente il nome!!) che non gusta mai. Da non tralasciare le opzioni di gusti vegani. Assolutamente da provare la brioche con gelato alle mandorle....WOW!!
Se ricapito da quelle parti obbligatorio passare da voi per un gelato...magari due!!
11/09/2024: Preso più volte il gelato in questo locale quasi nascosto al centro di Scicli! Che dire… la squisitezza dei gestori si sposa appieno con un gelato veramente top, in tutti i gusti che ho provato (consigliati quelli siciliani!). La coppetta da 3,50 euro è poi molto abbondante… bravi!
