16/03/2024: Beautiful tavern in the historic center, the view and the atmosphere created on the very romantic terrace are extraordinary. Extremely fresh fish, sublimely cooked couscous, generous portions and impeccable service. We had a great time and will be back.❤️

28/10/2023: Is it better for employees to give explanations in English or Italian? I was impressed by his attitude of trying to accommodate tourists. The food was delicious, and by 7:30pm, the place was almost full.

31/03/2024: Terrible experience!! Starters with normal cured meats, some battered vegetables. Trofie with frozen mushrooms and risotto as they define their workhorse but simple risotto with ragù for school canteens! Second courses of simple pork rib, to conclude almond parfait but without almonds all at a cost of €45 per person! Easter lunch 2024

Very good, I really liked the owner who works in the kitchen and prepares the fish that he has displayed in the window or that comes in in the morning from the port of Portopalo. Chef chapeau. Too bad it's in a hidden place. Keep it up

07/03/2024: We were looking for a seafood restaurant in the area. We came on a Thursday. They usually aren’t open to regular guests on Thursdays but Enzo, the owner, still accommodated us. We had the shrimp salad, Ravioli with shrimps and the grilled mixed plate. It was absolutely stunning. The service was beyond excellent and so was the food. This is an absolute must visit restaurant.

21/02/2024: They recommended this restaurant to us to enjoy typical Modican cuisine. We were convinced we were eating well given the influx of customers. But we have rarely encountered such poor cuisine. In particular, the rib was tough and inedible, the home-made potatoes were raw and pre-cooked and the boiled meat was a piece of fatty meat cooked in water without any taste, just water, which was also not edible. I took it away for my cat but he rejected it. The presentation of the dishes was done without any care. We waited a long time for the food to arrive and we had to ask. Naturally we immediately reported the problems to the manager but the response was "impossible" all the customers are happy with it (I wouldn't say it from the reviews). However, we were not charged for the rib but despite this we paid too much, €40, as we managed to eat an appetizer and a first course which were also not very pleasant. Inedible meat and side dish. Drank water.
