13/07/2024: Beh che dire : location molto suggestiva in pieno duomo , personale cordiale e molto preparato e soprattutto carni eccezionali ! Vi consiglio di provare la picanha di black Angus e la pancia di maialino laccata al miele , illegali ! Super consigliato.

03/07/2024: Als ik 6 sterren kon geven, dan gaf ik er zeker 6! Super vriendelijke en attente bediening, gezellig terras op de trappen, SUPER eten!, zo lekker dat we er zelfs 2 keer zijn gaan eten. Wij namen de beef croquette, pasta carbonara met truffel, pasta al algio, rib eye, nergens iets op aan te merken. Van superieure kwaliteit! Prijs ligt iets hoger, maar is het méér dan waard.

28/10/2023: Our biggest disappointment from hundreds of trip advisor ratings. I don't usually rate restaurants, but tonight I feel an obligation. The shrimp with pasta, had probably 1/2 of a shrimp, served cold. The grilled swordfish was tasteless, appeared to be a frozen filet. The lamb chops were at best average. The young lady waitress did an incredible job, as the mana, owner ate, and watched her. My apologies for the negativity, but, certainly a heads up, to all.

19/10/2023: Prices clearly too expensive if you haven't made a reservation, a very special atmosphere, no longer an Irish pub, there are much better restaurants in Cefalu

10/08/2024: A little disappointing. I came to eat at this restaurant on August 10, 2024. Ordered appetizer of raw and cooked seafood, simple and good. Unfortunately for the first course it went badly, I ordered a risotto with red prawns and orange cream, but a saffron risotto with prawns arrived; the orange cream was not present in the dish and was not even remotely noticeable (the orange still has a strong flavor and the little that is added should be noticeable). I pointed out to the owner how this dish was quite disappointing because he sold me a product for another. The owner simply replied that they don't use saffron, although my risotto only tasted of saffron and that they use Argentine oranges which have no flavour! An answer to how disappointing, despite Sicily being the main land that offers the best citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges, unfortunately it has not used the products of this wonderful land. Overall rating 5

24/07/2024: Meravigliosa esperienza culinaria, enologica ed umana in questo locale molto curato, dove l’esperienza del titolare Simone e la simpatia dei colleghi Marta e del carinissimo Andrea mettono proprio a agio i clienti. Ottima la selezione di drink proposti, sia nazionali che locali, superlativa la selezione di salumi e formaggi preparati al momento per comporre taglieri dall’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! porzioni veramente abbondanti e gusti davvero ricercati. Locale perfetto dal pranzo, all’aperitivo, così come alla cena e per un drink di fine serata, assolutamente consigliato. Grazie da Silvia, Simone e Kevin dalla Valpolicella, Verona. Siete fantastici!!!

15/07/2024: Non ci sono parole per descrivere “tentazioni mediterranee”, taglieri composti da formaggi e salumi ricercati e di prima qualità e non solo il cibo e il beveraggio ci hanno conquistati , ma anche la gentilezza di Simone ed il suo staff e per finire i prezzi sono più che adeguati. Consigliamo vivamente, vogliamo questo locale in tutta Italia! Grazie davvero

30/08/2024: Lugar típico donde ellos hacen la pasta y está espectacular. El trato es muy bueno, el cocinero sale a preguntar cómo ha estado la comida. Tuve que esperar 15’ porque había gente esperando, pero valió la pena. Y espectaculares los precios, muy baratos. Recomendable!!!!

30/08/2024: Very modern and well-kept cafe with great variety and abundance of ice cream and rotisserie. The negative note is given by the house which in theory provides two stations but which, both from my individual and direct experience and from that of the regular customers who were in line and commented, only keeps one active as it also has to carry out tobacconist and betting shop services. ... Which leads to waits of up to 20 minutes. It's a shame because if next time I see such a long queue I will definitely leave

27/08/2024: It would seem tourists are not welcome here. I came all the way from New Zealand and of course not understanding this café 's service processes was made to wait while the rude woman behind the counter served only fluent Italian speakers. It was not very busy so being ignored was especially galling. With a little patience and tolerance for those of us who struggle to speak Italian it could have been a whole different experience.

11/08/2024: awful experience, we had to wait forever for the food, and when we said that it was longer than they said they tried to gaslight us into believing we are wrong and have no sense of time or smth. Food was mediocre, not great, nit terrible.. definitely not recommend.

10/08/2024: Starting with the food, it was not up to the price we paid to start with the prawns at nine euros per prawn totally exorbitant and they were not up to par. On the other hand, the pasta was acceptable and perhaps the most in line with the price and to finish the fish was very expensive €24 and for our taste dry and without any type of accompaniment. Continuing with the service, they served us well but they were confused with the order of the dishes and it took them more than half an hour to serve us. The prawns, because of this, we did not order dessert and we left quite disenchanted

19/08/2024: Nice environment and excellent service. The octopus cooked at low temperature is highly recommended, really good! The owner is friendly, present and very attentive to the customer.

18/08/2024: Nothing special just a lot of ingredients put together without sense and without flavour. Our ceviche and my red mullet were full but full of lemon/lime, good only for the sore throat my wife had, the tagliolini with redfish among the various ingredients included capers, never seen before and the mussel risotto thrown away etc. only tasted like rice

26/08/2024: location sul mare a dir poco sensazionale. pizza ottima, ingredienti freschi e l’impasto è leggerissimo, per fino il bordo. conto adeguato a quello che abbiamo mangiato servizio gentile e cortese. tempi di attesa veramente brevissimi

25/08/2024: Unser letzter Abend in Cefalù war dank Porta Ossuna ein schöner Abschluss. Obwohl wir erst kurz vor dem Abend angerufen haben, um einen Tisch mit Meerblick zu reservieren, war das Personal am Telefon äußerst freundlich und hat uns tatsächlich einen Platz mit direktem Blick auf das Meer organisiert, obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Auch am Abend selbst war das Personal sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war zwar nicht spektakulär, aber qualitativ gut und geschmacklich lecker. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte war relativ vielfältig, aber es gab nichts besonders Spezielles für die Region. Trotzdem waren wir zufrieden und haben gut gegessen. Für zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind haben wir 86 € bezahlt, inklusive zweimal Teigwaren, einmal Pizza, drei Gläser Wein und Wasser. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Abend mit gutem Essen und tollem Ausblick. Recensione in Italiano: La nostra ultima serata a Cefalù è stata resa speciale grazie a Porta Ossuna. Nonostante avessimo chiamato solo poco prima di cena per riservare un tavolo con vista mare, il personale al telefono è stato estremamente gentile e ci ha davvero riservato un posto con vista diretta sul mare, nonostante il ristorante fosse molto affollato. Anche la sera stessa, il personale è stato molto cordiale, rapido e disponibile. Il cibo non era particolarmente sorprendente, ma di buona qualità e gustoso. La scelta nel menù era abbastanza varia, ma non c’era nulla di particolarmente tipico della zona. Tuttavia, siamo rimasti soddisfatti e abbiamo mangiato bene. Per due adulti e un bambino, abbiamo speso 86 €, inclusi due piatti di pasta, una pizza, tre bicchieri di vino e acqua. Nel complesso, una serata piacevole con buon cibo e una vista fantastica.

25/08/2024: Quality restaurant. Faced with our visible difficulties in expressing ourselves, the (probably) boss made the effort to communicate in French and it was very kind. The dishes are generously offered and despite a visibly rich menu, I had difficulty making my choice because “Google translate” was working slowly. Perhaps offering a map in English would be appreciated but this is just a suggestion.

21/08/2024: Sea view yes but products from autogrill. A glass of packaged juice ONLY 3 euros. The staff tries to be pleasant. Cannoli with hard shell

16/08/2024: Very unpleasant the one with these red glasses (photo) I was almost going to leave because it was so cold because I didn't see that I was on the granita side I asked for a lemon and cream ice cream and I paid 3, 50 for a ridiculous little pot and worst of all it wasn't good.

04/09/2024: Genuinely nice atmosphere. 4 different wines. All 4 are not possible and I drink wine every week. Not recommended for me sorry...
