26/01/2024: Una cena a base di pesce e carne cibo di ottima qualità accompagnato con un buonissimo vino consigliato dal responsabile di sala non si spetta molto per cenare titolari gentili e disponibili personale di sala eccellente

18/03/2024: Location is nice. Some dishes were great, other dishes were average. Food took a long time (45 mins) to come out despite the restaurant having only 4-5 tables full at 7pm. Atmosphere was awful thanks to an extremely rude and clearly anti child owner. Definitely not a place to bring children, especially since they charge a cover person (including infants!). With all the other nice and friendlier restaurants around the area, you should find somewhere else to eat.

05/01/2024: The location is also lovely, the cocktails are mediocre, nothing exceptional, the accompaniment to the cocktails is poor. But the worst thing was the violation of all privacy regulations as the management communicated my presence inside the hotel to third parties, which was truly unpleasant but absolutely related to the insignificance of the person who committed said violation.

29/12/2023: We visited on the first night of our holiday because of the great reviews. We arrived around 5-6pm and it was very quiet. The owner was so lovely. Really friendly and welcoming. He kindly put on the air conditioning for me as I get hot and we were sitting inside! He made us feel comfortable and right at home. He helped us to order and gave recommendations. He also adapted one of our meals to suit one of our requirements. My Dad has not stopped going on about the food at this restaurant. He absolutely loved it. We all agree that it was the nicest that we’ve had in Taormina-and we’ve visited a fair few. It was really affordable and good value too. The prices are not over inflated. We would visit again and highly recommend. We had the parmigiana and lemon and veal meatballs to share and start. Bolognese, parmigiana ravioli, nduja &stracciatella pasta amongst other things. All lovely.

31/10/2023: Abbiano pranzato in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia e degli amici. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi primi accompagnati da un buon vino siciliano. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

12/01/2024: It’s ironic that I had to travel all the way to Sicily to eat the worst pizza of my life given that this is the country of origin. The restaurant served food that showed that the owner clearly did not care about what was being served. I know that the town is a tourist trap, but clearly some restaurants still care enough to serve something edible. The food here was not edible. I ate a couple of mouthfuls and handed back a pizza that was both burnt and sopping wet with tomato water. The other food was almost as bad it is a shame because the view is beautiful. however, I came to eat and you can’t eat the view. I came to Sicily under the impression that the Italians loved food and left this restaurant. Completely perplexed. How can you serve a capriccioso pizza with what looks like three day old, sliced boiled egg? The artichokes were in edible. The fish in breadcrumbs was old and mushy and soggy with oil. Avoid this place and save yourself some money and some heartache. You have been warned.

08/01/2024: Trovandoci di passaggio a Taormina in tarda serata, siamo entrati in questo ristorante al fine di verificare se fosse ancora possibile cenare. Un membro dello staff ci avrebbe liquidato istantaneamente, in quanto aveva già risposto che la cucina era chiusa, mentre il gestore ci ha subito garantito che, qualora ci fosse stato posto in sala, avremmo potuto accomodarci. Il personale di sala, probabilmente mosso dal desiderio di terminare il turno serale al più presto, è stato molto efficiente, anche se chi ci ha servito delle birre in bottiglia non si è reso conto che fossero scadute. Avendo particolarmente sete, pur notando che le bevande emanavano un insolito odore e che avevano un retrogusto molto stantio, non abbiamo valutato l'ipotesi che non fossero idonee ad essere servite. Poiché, quasi immediatamente, ho ordinato una seconda bottiglia di birra dello stesso tipo, ho per caso scoperto che la data di scadenza era stata abbondantemente superata; pertanto, con particolare discrezione, ho fatto notare al cameriere cosa non andasse bene e lo stesso, senza profferire parola, ha provveduto subito a sostituire la bevanda con una non scaduta. Le pizze erano buone, ma niente di straordinario, e qualche dessert ordinato a fine pasto non ritengo fosse degno della sufficienza, tenuto conto lo standard della tradizione siciliana. Il conto, come prevedibile, é stato salato e nessuno sconto è stato applicato per ovviare al disagio delle birre, le prime delle quali nessuno si è, fra le altre cose, sincerato di verificare se fossero state idonee alla vendita. Da evidenziare la straordinaria cordialità di un membro dello staff, il quale ha accompagnato tutto il servizio con sorrisi e, addirittura, simpatici ammiccamenti nei confronti di tutti i commensali, indipendente dal loro genere e età.
