27/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this family-run restaurant. It's a bit outside of Milazzo's city center, so it's best to drive (there's plenty of parking). Prices are average, but the quality is superior to many other restaurants we've tried in the city center. Friendly service.

09/10/2025: Review: Ristorante Panzakina Our group of five enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Ristorante Panzakina. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was perfectly balanced — creamy, peppery, and full of flavour — while the l’insalata di mare was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully seasoned. The rosato was sublime, pairing effortlessly with both dishes. Service was polished yet relaxed, with staff attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere captured effortless coastal charm, enhanced by lovely views over the boat harbour. It’s the kind of place where great food, wine, and scenery come together in perfect harmony — a true highlight of seaside dining in Sicily.

The reason is clear: fresh roasting is done directly on site, visible to the customer, a rare and crucial element for the final quality of the cup. The coffee is aromatic, balanced, and free of harsh bitterness or unpleasant aftertastes. This is a clear difference from most coffee shops, where the coffee is often commercial, oxidized, and bitter. Not here: here, the coffee has identity, purity, and structure. In the evening, the place transforms into a high-end aperitivo spot. Even the simplest offerings—spritz, gin and tonic—are made with high-quality ingredients, never standardized or banal. The drink is always good. A spacious, elegant, and comfortable atmosphere, along with professional and courteous staff, complete a consistent experience from start to finish. Conclusion When it comes to authentic coffee and quality drinking, Larabico is unique in Milazzo. Here, quality isn't declared: it's demonstrable. ☕🍸

22/02/2026: Very nice place with attention to detail. Very friendly staff. We tried both raw and cooked fish, and the quality of the food was very high. There's also a wide selection of bottled wines. The price is reasonable for the quality. Recommended.

30/10/2025: Good evening, I'm speaking personally because I'm genuinely tired of hearing stories and speculations about the establishment in question, the renowned pizzeria "Pizza 33." It's frequently rumored that the wait times are practically interminable; therefore, I thought it appropriate to verify the authenticity of these claims. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the two master pizza chefs, flanked by their respective teams, named "Paky" and "Shiva." I should point out that my visit took place during the Halloween period, and I must admit that the decorations were extremely meticulous, almost theatrical. Even the wait staff were rigorously costumed, so much so that, when one of the waiters approached with my dish, I momentarily suspected an attack due to the intimidating nature of his mask. Returning to the gastronomic experience, my order dates back to October 31, 2017. Upon recent inquiries, I was told that the pizza would be ready within a period of approximately twelve centuries. However, I finally received the order dating back to 1798, thus managing to taste the long-awaited dish. The pizza was paper-thin, with crisps on top that were almost scorching hot, mozzarella obtained—according to the statement—from Mr. Mario Owitti's bakery, and sauce prepared by the expert Mrs. Annamaria Annunziata Cannoletta. After the meal, I went to the cashier to pay and immediately looked at the price list. I noticed an anomaly: I remembered for sure that the marinara pizza was priced at €3, but now it's listed at €3.50. I therefore believe I will not return to this establishment, as the prices are, in my opinion, excessive and subject to unjustified increases, a circumstance I find slightly regrettable. In closing, I would like to point out that one of my dearest friends celebrated his birthday here last summer; nevertheless, it is said that the pizzas from that event are still in the pre-baking stage. 14/10/2025: The rooms, though a bit dated, are clean and comfortable, with breathtaking sea views. The welcome service is impeccable. The breakfast is well-balanced, although the selection is limited. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the center and right on the seafront, where you can step right out onto the hotel's private beach.

12/08/2025: A hotel with a restaurant, boasting a unique seaside location and a fully equipped beach for guests' exclusive use. Clean rooms equipped with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay (most have a splendid sea view and terrace). Friendly and professional staff are available to accommodate all guests' requests. A sweet and savory breakfast buffet is served, including a special mention for the homemade cakes and pies. The property's quiet location allows for a short stroll to the city center and the port. The property also offers a large, tree-lined parking lot for those arriving by car. The restaurant, located just meters from the sea, offers a menu featuring fresh, top-quality seafood (and also includes some meat options) and an extensive wine list.

19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us show up and are seated at a table inside, which I'm forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.
