29/11/2024: Astonishing sweets, everything is just fresh and natural

26/10/2024: Dismal and unpleasant welcome. Staff borderline aggressive and annoyed that we entered their store, 1/2 hour before they closed. Unfriendly to tourists, no effort to speak slowly even though we make the effort to speak Italian!! A shame that this address is in the backpacker's guide. The antithesis of the values ​​of warm welcome and kindness towards tourists, advocated by the backpacker guide. We turned on our heels and left without buying anything. What a shame and what a shame.

22/03/2025: I have been going there for over 20 years, since the time of Lillo the chef with the striped trousers. Beautiful restaurant well furnished (working fireplace). care and attention to the dishes of the centuries-old tradition of the change or rest stations (stazzuni) Carrapipi Sicilian saffron was found and loaded, then sulfur gave impetus to the area. The restaurant offers excellent and various first courses, unfortunately little innovative choice in the second courses: but the tripe is exceptional. Moderate prices compared to those that enrich (?) the restaurateurs located up to 25 km from the Sicilian coast.

15/08/2024: Great local pizza. Pizzaiolo stayed in the pizzeria specially for us so we were able to order something in the late evening!

If I really have to nitpick one thing, yes, I didn't see the owner walking around the tables like I might see elsewhere, but he could be there on a confusing evening.

13/03/2025: I was in this restaurant during a lunch break, finding myself in Enna for work. All excellent. Rustic appetizer, an excellent first course (rigatoni with turnip greens, dried tomatoes, sausage and breadcrumbs) and a slice of apple pie. Excellent price (€25), excellent quality and kindness of all the staff. When I return to Enna it will obviously be my first choice :-)

09/03/2025: Restaurant with large spaces and very well looked after, both inside and outside. Trained and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. We had a great time.

An establishment that could be interesting but which clearly sets its prices based on the customer's head. €125 for 2 antipasti + 5 pasta dishes + 2 bottles of water - 1/4 wine and coffee?!?!? Really exaggerated for this type of establishment. + the final service really below par! Never again and I wouldn't send anyone there. Playing the One Shot rather than building customer loyalty is a shame and shows that you haven't understood anything!

12/02/2025: Such a gem! We stumbled upon it en route to Taormina and turned out to be one of the best meals we had all trip. Everyone working and eating there is so lovely, the food is excellent and incredible value.

03/01/2025: We spent €25 for three big pasta dishes (which were tasty), a 1L bottle of water and a coffee. The waitress was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. It looks closed when you're in front, but just pull the door open.

05/01/2025: Veramente una ottima esperienza di cibo locale. Piatti tipici, come la lingua di vitello marinara, e varianti come fettuccine al tartufo e uova in camicia, oppure Entrecote con carciofi e miele. Prezzi molto buoni, servizio cortese e veloce nonostante siamo venuti alle 14:40 di Domenica. Consigliatissimo

05/03/2025: We went for pizza, it was really good!!!!!! Super light, very well seasoned. Very nice place, the boy who served us was very kind and courteous. For what we ate we paid the right amount, unlike many pizzerias in Enna which have increased prices dramatically.

22/10/2024: We went because the reviews were quite good. The food is OK, but nothing more than basic home cooking. We paid €10 for vegetables and we got a plate of watery and overcooked cavalo nero. Unless you are too tired to walk further into town I would skip this restaurant

28/09/2024: Best restaurant in the area with a great welcome, don't hesitate to take a detour before visiting the Roman villa which is 4 km away. Good and inexpensive, everything is homemade 🤗
