11/03/2026: The restaurant was more than nice. I didn't like the sauce on my bruschetta with porcini mushrooms, so they replaced them, but I'd forgotten I'd ordered tagliatelle with porcini, and it was the same sauce, so... I didn't like that either. How embarrassing! And they changed that one too. I don't know of a restaurant that would have done that... Absolutely fantastic!

07/03/2026: Completely satisfied! We stumbled upon Trattoria La Piattino by chance. But it was a pleasant surprise. 10 overall: Food, hospitality, wide selection, tasteful decor! The owner and waiter were very kind, and the food was delicious. It will be our regular stop every time we come to Zafferana! ❤️

15/12/2025: I attended an eighteenth birthday party, the Gloria room was very beautiful and elegant, the food did not satisfy me, poor quantity and quality, the staff was not up to the standard of the room, I understand that the work is not the best and is very hard, but a minimum of friendliness and courtesy never hurts, some of these things need to be reviewed and it can certainly improve and become one of the top villas to be able to celebrate any type of event

26/11/2025: A beautiful venue with several well-appointed reception rooms. The terrace adjacent to the dining rooms offers a splendid view. The dishes are all high-quality and beautifully presented. The friendly and helpful staff offer expert advice, making the venue unique. Kudos to the owners for their dedication and sacrifice in running such a demanding business.

08/02/2026: Positive experience, the dishes carefully prepared by the chef... everything delicious, high quality... but I'm sorry to say, but the service is not up to par... first of all, the maître d', unprofessional in many ways, was on his cell phone while I wanted to ask a question as if nothing had happened, the dirty table was cleaned only at the end, the waiter who while we were still eating took care of clearing and clearing away... the service must be on par with the kitchen, otherwise everything falls apart. I repeat, the dishes were divinely good.

09/02/2026: We went early cause we were hungry 😋 The restaurant was open but they were cleaning the restaurant and bathrooms. And the food was beautiful. The pizza together with the Pizza-Burger was spot on! The staff is so friendly!! I highly recommend to go to this place and try the pizza and the Pizza-Burger. Cleanliness is 10/10, Food 10/10 and Very friendly staff & Place 10/10 (And also it is pet friendly ❤️)

The menu is impressive (8/10): good pizza, well-made, and with interesting options, not the usual predictable choices. The service is one of its strong points (8/10): attentive, very friendly, and capable of making you feel immediately at home. The bill also gets a thumbs up (8/10), with an excellent balance between quality and price. Overall, a highly recommended place, where you eat well and are happy to return.

02/03/2026: Dear Owner, ​We want to respond to your reply because our lunch experience was profoundly different from what you described. ​I consider myself a very polite and respectful person, and I would never have allowed myself to make a gesture like pouring water into a glass if I hadn't been driven to exasperation by treatment that we perceived as hostile from the very first moment. We chose your restaurant precisely because it was declared "dog-friendly," but the welcome we received from our dogs (who were very well-behaved) was cold and almost irritating. We were rudely reprimanded for even briefly picking up our dog, only to be told he should stay under the table or tied up outside. ​Throughout lunch, we felt observed and uncomfortable. The gesture of pouring water was born out of pure frustration: I want to point out that the water in the bowl was clean because the dogs, terrified by the hot weather, didn't even drink. Being dog-friendly means welcoming guests with a smile, not making them and their pets feel like a burden. It's a shame, because hospitality is just as important as the quality of the food (when it's available, and not in your case). A warm farewell.

The dishes are generous and delicious. The pork shank is highly recommended and one of the best dishes in my opinion.

09/01/2026: Terrible service. We were offered a verbal menu without any information about the prices. Trusting the service (after years of coming), we were literally shocked by the bill: €220 for appetizers (the diminutive is a must given the extremely modest portions), that is, 22 small plates of appetizers (I even doubt the actual number) for €10 each. Madness. Not even at the best seafood restaurants. Moral of the story: a bill of about €50 per person for 12 diners (including 3 children who only had a plate of penne with sauce each), of which €27 was just for the appetizer. Madness! Just as madness will be returning to this place. Don't get ripped off and ask for a menu with the relevant prices.

You can sense great attention to both the ambiance and the well-being of the guests. As a customer, I fully understand the commitment and sacrifices of those who choose to work during the holidays, and for this reason, the service we received was even more appreciated. 03/01/2026: We stayed the night of December 29th. The view was breathtaking, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms certainly aren't the most modern, but they're comfortable. The double bed was top-notch, the heating didn't go above 23°C (73°F) and was already comfortable, the shower and bathroom were spacious, although the bidet made some noises like it was sinking. The rooms with balconies have practically everything. Breakfast the next day was a standard buffet, but we were definitely satisfied, as was the splendid view just outside the room. Parking outside the hotel is very convenient, even if it's not covered by a roof.

13/01/2026: One star is a lot for this pizzeria. We ordered six pizzas, and we paid an absurd price. Among them was a tuna dish with invisible tuna. When we called the lady, she didn't even bring back a properly made pizza. NEVER AGAIN!
