The environment is very relaxing and well looked after, the service is excellent, Giusy and her collaborators are always kind, attentive and present,
The food is exquisite, I have had the pleasure of trying different courses over time and they never disappoint,
The quality is good, the price is well related
Giusy and her husband are two wonderful people! I highly recommend to everyone

21/02/2024: My boyfriend and I were eating a four course here. The food was delicious, everything tasted very unique. I love Sicilian food, yet often it's a bit too greasy and hard to digest. Here I didn't had this "heavy feeling" after.
The waiter was very kind and asking us about allergies and intolerances, which I think is amazing. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere with lots of pretty artwork. It's located in the beautiful old town of Caltagirone, very near to the big scales. I highly recommend it!
20/01/2024: We went to this restaurant for lunch today.... They welcomed us very well and also welcomed our 2 slightly bulky dogs.... Excellent and particular food, impeccable service, the waiter was very kind and very knowledgeable. .. Thank you

10/03/2024: We went on Saturday evening to eat pizza which was also very good.
However, you cannot arrive at 9pm and eat pizza at 11pm.
The place is full, the staff is bare bones, because paying an extra waiter can be too expensive, a single bakery for 200 people.

07/04/2024: Best restaurant of our trip to Sicily! Very authentic, friendly, inexpensive and, above all, super tasty. If it's not on the menu, be sure to ask for pasta. We got a pasta with asparagus, tomatoes and ricotta, which was delicious.

You won't regret it....a very small place, with the dish of the day (we had fresh pasta with ricotta and broad beans - a delight -) and some salads, sandwiches and platters. Excellent products, the owner transmits his passion for cooking to you. Definitely a place with a soul!

31/03/2024: between the starter and the first course they made us wait an hour, the same thing between the first course and the second course and the exact same thing between the second course and the dessert. the courses were also really small and not very abundant
05/02/2024: Nice and spotlessly clean place, friendly staff, we went to Caltagirone for a dance competition... and looking through maps the closest place was this one... even if the reviews were vague (and based on delays and lack of courtesy) we decided to go there... what can I say!! A beautiful revelation. The owner and the staff are friendly and attentive... they made us sit down and advised us on the choice of menu. We had an excellent Italian appetizer, pistachio and spek calamarata, sausage and fennel calamarata, and an exquisite braised beef. And some fried fish... Sweets, water, beer and various drinks... semifreddo, coffee, grappa... etc etc. Account more than correct. We were 6 adults and 6 children. What can I say, it is yet another demonstration (I am referring to some reviews) that those who go to restaurants turn up their noses at a comprehensive delay... (when the room is full) should go out more often and visit as many places as possible... to learn to evaluate with greater awareness and experience.

04/03/2024: Caltagirone is the city of the famous ceramics or staircase of Santa Maria del Monte. We stumbled upon this bar by chance one evening. Given the time they offered us an aperitif. The service was fast and efficient. They brought us lots of things, a huge aperitif and everything was very good. If you're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by. Excellent value for money .
