I’ve never not had a bad meal here! The mozzarella is always fresh and the pizza is amazing. Definitely a Naples staple for us.

We came here exclusively for their wood fired pizza. The place is cool and neat. We ate on the patio in May which wasn't too hot with the fans and a breeze going. The fountain outside is nice and the patio is shaded so it's a good vibe outside. Inside was freezing cold, so bring a light jacket if you're eating inside.
We ate all three pizzas that didn't have mushrooms on it: pepperoni, margarita, and prosciutto. All three were top notch. Crust was thick enough and yet so soft and chewable. One of the best crusts I've had. The thin pizzas are personal sized and cut into 4 slices. The prosciutto pizza had arugula on it and was a little hard to eat but good, more healthy tasting pizza. The pepperoni I kind of wished had a bit more kick to it or a little more pepperoni but it was still extremely good. The margarita pizza you really can taste how great the sauce is on the pizza. The cheese is good too, but the sauce and crust really stand out and they're fantastic.
Overall this place is located in an affluent area, a quick walk to the beach, had a good atmosphere, and excellent tasting pizza. I would definitively come back and get the pizza again.

This is a nice restaurant, the food is good, the service is good/ok, but needs some updating and better front of house. There’s really 3 sections in this restaurant. 1) shove the families and kids into one section, 2) nice outdoor section, and 3) the more modern couples and no kids section. The best thing here is the food which is really great quality. Only thing for food is that you get like 4 ounces of calamari and two measly pieces of artichoke. But otherwise good.
Service was ok, our waiter was nice, front of house/hostess could be a bit more hospitable. They made us park our $1k plus stroller in dirt under a tree with god knows how many bugs. The decor and overall plating and ambience could use updating. They’ve updated the pricing, should get up to surrounding standards.
Overall nice place, if you can drive 5-10 min I would highly recommend their sister restaurant Grappino for a far better experience, ambiance, and much better food. We honestly couldn’t get a reservation there. Glad I tried this place, most likely wouldn’t go back just cause there are so many other wonderful restaurants in Naples but I would recommend if you have a craving for great pasta and good pizza.
Food was fabulous. Our server, Tara C. was outstanding. Pizza was great. Caesar salad was outstanding. The arancini was better than what I had when in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Overall grand experience.
Looking forward to being back in Naples this September 2026. Will be coming to Barbatella.

Fantastic early dinner special! The hostess was very accommodating and gracious in seating us with one gentleman with a walker ! This is not always the case in our restaurants here . Our waiter, Michael, was extremely helpful! We have always enjoyed dining here and will continue to do so !

We dying there for lunch on Monday of this week as we’re in for the Pickleball tournament as the many tourists looking for great values while we’re staying we had a wonderful server. The gentleman was kind understanding and prompt and treated us with the ultimate respect.
So we decided to go back today two days later. Again, it was for lunch, but this time we had a lady who was a server that didn’t treat us very nicely. In fact when it was brought to her attention that there was something in the wine glass instead of saying oh let me take care of that she says oh it must be cork, trying to make some type of excuse, and she was rather abrupt and never checked on us after our meals were delivered at the end of the day it goes to show you it’s the people that you have working for you that determine how nice and how successful you can be
please remember while those lunch specials are extremely attractive other restaurants up and down that street were jampacked with people and we were only one of two diners at Barbatella
so I would recommend management try to find people that care about your customers and they will come back and fill your restaurant and you will make lots of money

Amazing meals and service at this beautiful restaurant...all our dishes were great but the lobster ravioli was the star and of course the gelatos are the best in town…I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes😎😎😎

Cute environment, and good ice cream!
We got two different pizzas and both were very disappointing. Crust was good but toppings were horrible.
We felt very rushed by our waiter, he didn’t take much time explaining the food so we could make a good decision. We wanted to sit outside but got seated inside because it would start raining - but it didn’t.
No zero or diet options for sodas.
