16/05/2026: Congratulations on the vegan sandwiches! Finally, the only place in Alghero with a super-tasty, high-protein burger with top-quality vegetables that wasn't at all heavy. The food wasn't at all oily, but rather light and tasty. The portions were super generous and the dough was excellent. If you ever specialize in vegan options, I'm sure you'd make a lot of people like us happy. Keep it up, guys!

09/06/2026: Indeed, the hotel is very close to the airport, but not within walking distance; you can hear the planes very clearly. Keep in mind that Alghero city center is only about ten kilometers from the airport. We arrived yesterday in the mid-afternoon at the hotel reception. We received a very poor welcome from one of the receptionists; the other was much more courteous. We needed her to call a taxi (we had the contact information) for the next morning because we don't speak Italian. The receptionist with the red glasses refused, but the other did. The room was clean, but the bed was very hard; you could really feel the springs. The restaurant is very good; we had a very good dinner. However, they tell you that if you are a hotel guest, you will receive a 10% discount, but this is not applied. As for breakfast, we don't know. We left before it opened (our flight was scheduled for 8:55 am) and there was no lunchbox to take home, even though we had paid for it. I don't recommend this hotel, but I do recommend the restaurant.

18/05/2026: Saturday 16 May 2026, the eve of the cavalcade....the museum is ALSO part of a traveling exhibition of ancient costumes, unfortunately at 2:00 pm the gates were closed even though the program indicated closing at 8:00 pm.....we went at 4:00 pm and like 10 other people - at that time - we were disappointed....SASSARI TOURIST CITY.... absurd.

02/05/2026: A splendid museum, with artifacts that trace the history of Sardinia from the Nuragic era to the present day. Several exhibition rooms display a variety of artifacts from different eras.

05/10/2025: It was just before siesta and kitchen was closed when we arrived but the owner let us stay and have a drink.

20/07/2026: Sushi in the Sassari area near the shopping center Excellent quality ingredients, a menu that takes a bit of understanding but then becomes easy to navigate. I would recommend increasing the variety of appetizers; otherwise, I was satisfied. Dinner price €29.90, if you're wondering :) Online

21/10/2025: I had lunch with my wife after visiting Valledoria. The dishes are freshly prepared. The service is perfect. They make you feel at home. I ordered a varied plate with grilled fish, squid, and prawns. Spectacular. My wife ordered roast chicken. The dishes are generous. Everything was perfect. We'll be back when we return to Sardinia.

20/06/2026: Not transparent, called ahead about vegetarian options and got misled We called ahead specifically to ask about vegetarian options and were told there were plenty. On arrival, we were only offered the fixed meat-based tasting menu. When we pushed back, staff first insisted there was no vegetarian option, then eventually put something together — just a couple of starters, the same vegetarian items already part of my own menu, in a much smaller portion. Not what we'd been promised on the phone. Before ordering, we discussed pricing with our waitress: since I was having the full fixed menu and my girlfriend would be eating far less, going à la carte instead. She walked us through it item by item — "ten euros here, ten euros there" — clearly implying a lower total to reflect the smaller amount of food, even if no exact number was stated. That was the clear understanding we walked away with. At checkout, we were charged for two full fixed menus. When I raised this, the person at the register was dismissive and unwilling to actually listen — just repeating firmly that à la carte costs more, period, end of discussion. No real attempt to understand what we'd been told earlier, which felt unprofessional and unkind given the context. Food portions were enormous, far more than anyone could finish, leaving me questioning whether quantity is prioritized over quality and consistency. Service felt outwardly very kind throughout the meal, almost overly so, which made the rigid, dismissive attitude at the bill even more jarring. Between the vegetarian bait-and-switch and the non-transparent pricing, this felt like a touristic trap!!!

28/06/2026: Terrible, low-quality food, subpar dishes. The only positive thing was a friendly waitress. Otherwise, nothing pleasant. I strongly advise you not to go there unless you want to waste your money. There are much better sushi places in Sassari, like Koko and all that, but otherwise, nothing of any quality. Appearances can be deceiving.

03/05/2026: I tried this pastry shop with rather high expectations, also due to its "French" and niche positioning. Traveling and seeing establishments in other cities (including here in Sardinia, like Cagliari, but now throughout Italy), it's increasingly easy to find places with truly refined doughs, expertly crafted, both visually and palatably. Precisely for this reason, I expected something distinctive. I'm talking specifically about the breakfast (tried several times): classic croissants and variations (whole wheat, pistachio/Chantilly/Sassari roll/etc.), which, however, are rather average, without a particular fragrance, texture, or preparation that makes them stand out. Considering the price, the overall experience doesn't live up to expectations. A pleasant place, but the offerings could be much more enhanced in every respect. Currently, they don't meet expectations and aren't competitive except in a place like Sassari, where there are predominantly pastry shops with "old classic recipes."

02/05/2026: Friendly staff, it feels like being in Paris, exceptional pain au chocolat, exceptional apple and cinnamon sfogliatella, you have to go back several times to try everything! Cappuccino with perfectly frothed milk. NB: The workshop is open to the public, they have nothing to hide here, well done.

28/03/2026: We were here about 13 years ago and were absolutely thrilled with the incredibly delicious ice cream! We never forgot it and today (now with our children) decided to come back. The ice cream hasn't changed; it's still simply perfect! This time, we also had the pleasure of enjoying what was probably the most delicious pizza we've ever eaten: handcrafted with fresh ingredients! It couldn't be better! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff, whether at the tables or the lady serving the ice cream, are all very friendly and helpful. It's a shame we're not from around here; we'd love to come back more often!

28/10/2025: Oh My Bar is a recommended little cafe/bar/patisserie in Alghero, just a few minutes from the beach. Well worth the short walk. The quality of the food was excellent, we had excellent crispy sandwiches, waters, then followed by coffees & cakes. Locals dropped by regularly for espressos at the counter adding to the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient: the cafe decorated brightly also has an outdoor seating area. Enjoyed so much we visited twice. Grazie mille

07/07/2026: Extremely kind and professional. The pizzas were okay, nothing to write home about, but unfortunately, Alghero has much worse to offer. The dessert selection was interesting and different, for better or worse, from the rest of the restaurants. The coffee wasn't even saved by the sugar, but it's not a bar.

04/07/2026: We stayed for 5 days in the apartments (besides the restaurant, there are other apartments in the same building). The owner and staff were very friendly, the apartments were beachfront, well-equipped and clean, and in a great location. The food at the restaurant is very good and inexpensive.

02/06/2026: I'm leaving this review because as soon as we sat down at the table we found the table sticky, the price of the spritz was 7 euros even though it had nothing to do with spritz, being already prepared, and moreover without even serving a small appetizer like simple chips.
