29/12/2025: So let's start by saying that the owner was very rude and impolite (not just to us but also to the staff) simply because I pointed out that at a table of eight, we were served four different times, not because we had to share, but because everyone had their own portion. We were served, but all the dishes were small and lacking in ingredients, like onions and sausages, which were almost nonexistent. And to top it all, the bill was much higher. I'm sorry, but a few years ago the quality was superior in every way.

01/01/2026: We decided to go to Alghero with some friends for the New Year's concert. We booked ahead of time at the Ramblas pizzeria and restaurant. Their website listed an à la carte menu. To our surprise, however, we discovered there wasn't an à la carte menu, only a combination menu. So, confident that we wouldn't be able to find availability elsewhere because it was already late, we decided to stay. So, along with the pizza, we were forced to order a charcuterie board to share between four of us (two slices of sausage, two slices of pancetta, two slices of coppa, and two slices of cheese) and a pizza of our choice. We could have easily done without the charcuterie, especially since we didn't manage to eat the whole pizza. They should have made this clear on the website, so we would have chosen another place. A shame, it wasn't very clear.

01/01/2026: I'll start by saying that my meal wasn't bad, and the owners and staff were friendly. But for me, fairness and intellectual honesty are two things I can't compromise on. I chose Ramblas for New Year's Eve dinner because, according to the ads on their website and Facebook, they offered an à la carte dinner, so it was entirely up to me to choose the courses. That wasn't the case. The pizzas (with the price removed) could only be ordered with a mandatory charcuterie board. So, whether I wanted it or not, I was forced to order an eggplant pizza and a charcuterie board for €30. The first or second courses, however, had to be paired with an appetizer. I couldn't choose there either, but there were obligations. What a shame. Cheating to cash in on the already crowded customers on New Year's Eve wasn't fair.

20/10/2025: Restaurant in an alley where the welcome is decent but it's a real tourist trap. It's good but very expensive and a bit limited in the plate. 15€ for a pork chop and 7€ for a plate of grilled vegetables consisting of 2 eggplant slices and 5 zucchini slices. It's a steal. 16€ for a plate of spaghetti bolognese is expensive. 3€ for a 75cl bottle of water when the day before in another restaurant it was 3€50 for 1.5l. So if you can go elsewhere, don't hesitate. Oh yes and 2€50 for service per person so 10 balls for 4. Free in other restaurants like the one from the day before in Isola Rossa.

19/10/2025: Tourist trap! Avoid! When ordering, I explained to the waiter that I actually preferred grilled fish to fried octopus... and he finally brought me both! I protested! But nothing worked! The grilled fish was raw inside... I had to send it back to the kitchen! My son's hamburger came as a simple hamburger with fries... the lasagna wasn't homemade... etc.... and the bill was very steep for a bad meal! When the food is so good in Sardinia!

I thought for a moment that they were a bit too many since we are 2 people but I can assure you that if there had been another kilo we would have enjoyed those too. 19/01/2026: I've ordered a sandwich from Roberto many times, preferring it to other fast food restaurants in the city, precisely because I thought it was better and because it's never disappointed me. But last week I was disappointed with a sandwich that was empty and different from the one I'd ordered. Maybe it was the time (late, I admit), but if you don't have the ingredients to maintain the standard the customer is accustomed to, it's best to let them know in advance and, above all, avoid being too cheap with the toppings.

24/10/2025: ...what can I say... a SUPERB birthday cake! Beautiful, but above all, DELICIOUS. The staff were friendly and courteous, highly recommended.

29/09/2025: As soon as I picked up the cake, the decoration was wrong... during the reservation I requested a cake with fruit decoration and the word happy birthday... when I picked it up I found a cake with a pink background and little fruit... pink color that I absolutely did not request, they replied saying that pink was automatically given to girls and blue to boys...

03/08/2025: La semplicità paga sempre. Non per forza serve un super impiattamento per colpire ma il gusto e la qualità vincono sempre. Antipasto di mare, primo di tonno, spada. Tutto buonissimo!!!

02/08/2025: Serata trascorsa in famiglia di venerdì sera in un ottima atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, precisi e molto gentili. Antipasti e Primi molto abbondanti e gustosi. Antipasto sardo nella norma, molto buono invece l'antipasto di mare. Molto consigliata la fregola ai frutti di mare, gustosa ed abbondante. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tonno. Meglio prenotare, in estate può essere affollata. Consigliatissimo.
