19/09/2025: We got a table immediately and placed our order promptly. The drinks took 20 minutes to arrive, even though other guests had already had their drinks and food. The restaurant wasn't full by then. When we asked if he had forgotten our drinks, it still took forever for two Aperols to arrive. The food was okay, but the waiters were very arrogant and unfriendly. We won't be visiting this restaurant again.
03/09/2025: Probably thanks to the new management, we had a great time at this restaurant in Alghero's historic center. The staff were very friendly and found us two seats without a reservation in just a few minutes. The food was very good and the wine was excellent. Prices were in line with the quality and location, but it's an excellent value. Recommended.

30/08/2025: A super cool place, not in the center of Sassari, but worth a visit for its delicious food, its beautiful decor, and the friendliness of the waitresses, who even spoke to us in Spanish. We went there craving nachos, but we heeded their recommendations and left delighted, in love with that delicious sweet and sour chicken dish.
07/07/2025: El Fogon in Sassari is a real discovery! The place is cozy and lively, perfect for an evening with friends. The food is authentic and delicious, each dish transports you to Mexico. The service is remarkable for its speed, making the experience even more enjoyable. Recommended!

12/10/2025: Upon entering, we felt like we were intruding. There was no one at the counter, and the blonde bartender served us two Crodinos in different glasses without any manners. When we approached the register to pay, the same bartender practically snatched the money out of my hand, without giving us a receipt or even acknowledging our goodbye.
It's obvious we'll never see that bar again, and we can only advise against it every time we pass by.
22/09/2025: I was staying in Castelsardo with some friends, and they recommended this place, not far from where we were staying. Given the short distance, we tried everything from aperitivo to a typical Sardinian dinner on Sundays, all at a very reasonable price. Impeccable service and a top-notch bartender! Highly recommended!

08/09/2025: This is not an authentic Indian restaurant, service is decent- but horrible under cooked food , no salt on some food, under cooked bread, old spoiled dishes. The owner argued with us when we brought to her attention the food was spoiled.
I would stay away from this place, almost every dish had an issue and we ate there as a large group of 10

13/04/2025: Great place and great food. We stayed in the B&B bit, the rooms are big, air conditioned appropriately. Staff are all lovely and smiling.
Very tranquil place, lovely view all around us.
We stayed for dinner and rather than a dinner it was a feast.
All locally sourced food, they kept bringing big portions of delicious stuff.
Please note that the food is not fish based.
Definitely a place to visit if in the area. We preferred to try this place rather than staying in Castelsardo and it was the right choice.

07/10/2025: This place is a bit like a trip back in time with its decor. In fact, most local diners order by phone and take their pizzas away. There are only pizzas, BUT WHAT A PIZZA! A no-nonsense pizza, they're excellent, airy, and incredibly tasty. One of the best I've ever eaten.
The prices are unbeatable.
The welcome is very friendly and pleasant.
