19/11/2025: Business lunch for two...amazing food and wonderful staff. Reasonable value for money. Highly recommended.

30/10/2025: Hi, the lone star is only for the waiters, who were kind, even though... I'll tell you more. We made a reservation and they accepted us even though we have a medium/large dog (they were very kind). The waitress was very kind, welcoming us and bringing us drinks (the Coke bottle was very dirty with long hairs stuck to it that didn't belong to the waitress) and taking our order. One of the dishes we ordered wasn't available, so we opted for two first courses and several appetizers, a dish of the day, and two side dishes to be brought out first. The appetizers, the dish of the day, and one of the two side dishes arrived, plus a dish kindly provided on the house. Everything was good, then the first courses arrived, both different from the menu, or rather, missing key ingredients. If I order fregola with vegetables and fondue or cream cheese, I expect it... but instead it was a very oily caponata with fregola in it. I called the waiter, who, mortified, apologized and told me the kitchen's explanation ("they didn't have that type of cheese and forgot to tell you when you ordered, so they made it without it." It was a shame that the cheese platter, previously ordered, had it.) The same thing happened with the culurgiones, which instead of pecorino fondue had just grated cheese. We pointed out that the dishes weren't as per the menu, and returned the fregola intact. We ordered dessert and coffee and went to pay... Remember that I had specified earlier that I only ordered one of the side dishes? Yes, because the second course never arrived. After paying and looking at the receipt, not only were we not given a discount due to their miscommunication regarding the first courses (oh well), but they also included the dish that never arrived...with the excuse that the order had been sent, even though it wasn't processed and delivered to the table. And we weren't refunded because they didn't know how to do it, since we'd paid by card. We specified that they'd keep the money as a tip, since they didn't know how to return it. Anyway, it was an absurd situation that I NEVER expected, especially since the owner was present and could have intervened for the mistakes of his kitchen staff. As a fellow restaurateur and cook, I found this to be terrible behavior and felt ashamed for them (especially the kitchen), and I felt very sorry for them as a customer too.

05/10/2025: Very good seafood antipasti, big disappointment for the seafood risotto which was simple rice with little garnish and not at all a real risotto.

23/09/2025: Toluca was the perfect setting for an unforgettable day with friends... delicious food, welcoming staff, and that veranda overlooking the sea that fills your heart. A place that stays with you... thank you for everything! 🥰

20/11/2025: "I do not recommend visiting this restaurant in Italy. The staff, particularly an older gentleman with glasses at the entrance, were very rude and refused to serve us. He told us to get pizza next door, which was very disappointing. It's a shame that a business like this treats people this way. I hope they reconsider their approach to customer service. It's not the experience one expects in a country like Italy."

07/10/2025: I've been going there for thirty years now, as a girlfriend, a newlywed, and a mother. Always top-notch, never misses a beat.

14/12/2025: This is our second time in Castelsardo and our second time eating here. This time we had some starters, and I have to say they were truly excellent. Large portions. Excellent value. See you next time!

15/08/2025: We relied on them for savory catering and christening cakes, and we were very satisfied. Friendly and welcoming from the moment we received the quote, they were able to advise us perfectly on their wide selection of preparations: the types, combinations, and quantities were spot on! The two types of cakes were both delicious, beautifully decorated, and they were very willing to accommodate our decorating requests. Prompt delivery and excellent value. Highly recommended.

A great place for those looking for something good and honest.

03/08/2025: La semplicità paga sempre. Non per forza serve un super impiattamento per colpire ma il gusto e la qualità vincono sempre. Antipasto di mare, primo di tonno, spada. Tutto buonissimo!!!

02/08/2025: Serata trascorsa in famiglia di venerdì sera in un ottima atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, precisi e molto gentili. Antipasti e Primi molto abbondanti e gustosi. Antipasto sardo nella norma, molto buono invece l'antipasto di mare. Molto consigliata la fregola ai frutti di mare, gustosa ed abbondante. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tonno. Meglio prenotare, in estate può essere affollata. Consigliatissimo.

29/10/2025: I was very disappointed with my experience at Albero. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with unmade beds and bathrooms that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days. The tap water was black and didn't seem drinkable, which was a problem for me and my family. The staff was rude and showed no interest in solving our problems. When we asked to change rooms, we were told there were no other options available, despite the fact that the hotel wasn't full. The price of the stay was too high for what we received. The rooms were small and lacked any amenities, despite the high price. Overall, my experience at Albero was very negative, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The value for money was terrible, and the staff showed no interest in providing quality service. I hope the hotel takes our complaints into consideration and does something to improve the quality of the service and the rooms.

01/08/2025: Location con parcheggio disponibile. Il ristorante è bellissimo sia dentro che fuori, ha vetrate trasparenti quindi durante la cena abbiamo assistito a un bellissimo tramonto. Personale gentile, disponibile e attento. Porzioni super abbondanti e veramente tutto buonissimo! Questo posto ci è stato consigliato da un amico sardo e io veramente consiglio di non perderlo! Prezzi assolutamente nella norma abbiamo speso meno in questo posto sublime che in altri ristoranti di pesce della zona. Sicuramente torneremo perché ha svoltato il nostro soggiorno in Sardegna!

29/07/2025: Esperienza deludente, mai più. Siamo stati in questo ristorante con buone aspettative, ma purtroppo la delusione è iniziata quasi subito. Fin dall’arrivo ci è sembrato che ci avessero “inquadrati”: ci sono state servite porzioni visibilmente ridotte rispetto ad altri tavoli vicini, e il trattamento generale non è stato dei migliori. Il cameriere che ci serviva si è mostrato poco attento, spesso parlava con il tavolo dietro di noi mentre prendeva il nostro ordine o serviva i piatti, quasi come se fossimo un contorno alla sua conversazione principale. L’atmosfera è risultata fredda e poco accogliente. Alla fine del pasto, con uno scontrino da 112€, ci siamo permessi di far notare che le porzioni erano davvero scarse, ricevendo come risposta dal proprietario: “Avevate poco appetito”, con un tono poco professionale e piuttosto arrogante. Un’esperienza che non giustifica minimamente il prezzo pagato. Di certo non torneremo.
