28/09/2025: We had dinner here in early September. We chose this restaurant and pizzeria for the variety of dishes, as not everyone enjoys seafood. It was an excellent choice! The staff were very friendly, and the food was superb! I hadn't found this quality in a long time, with truly rich flavors. We had both excellent seafood dishes, cooked by chef Anna, with whom we chatted at the end of the evening, and very good pizza. The price was fair, around €30-35 per person. A must-visit, and definitely worth a visit.

05/10/2025: Terrible service, poor food, the receipt doesn't detail what you consumed. For 7 appetizers, 6 first courses, 2 mixed fried dishes, 1 liter of house wine and water/orange soda, spending around 300 euros seemed excessive to us, mostly because of the quality, which was definitely not adequate.

04/08/2025: We stayed at this splendid hotel. The staff were impeccable, polite, and helpful. Our seafront room offered a unique and evocative view, especially in the evening. Breakfast offered a wide selection of savory and sweet dishes, accompanied by a variety of drinks, and was served on clean, expertly set tables with attention to detail. The hotel's Art Nouveau style and enviable, strategic location made our holiday wonderful. Thanks to the owners, who are truly special, and to all the staff.

02/10/2025: The management must have changed, otherwise it's impossible to understand. It used to be a staple in Carloforte, but not anymore. Prices have skyrocketed, and the quality has declined. The girl serving is also quite unpleasant. Avoid.

28/09/2025: After a motorcycle tour of the island of San Pietro, we stopped at this little restaurant in Carloforte, recommended to us by a local bar. It was a great choice. I also loved the menu I'd seen by chance, which seemed appropriate. Tuna and octopus for an appetizer, a trofie pasta with a tuna pesto whose aroma alone made it worth a second try, a grilled tuna dish worthy of a true saltimbocca, and wine to suit your taste. What can I say about the service? Excellent and attentive, and prices in line with the location. For those who want it, it's just a stone's throw from the ferry. Beautiful day.

20/09/2025: We stopped for dinner one evening, intrigued by the presence of so many locals, and we had a great time. The service was friendly and informal, the menu featured tuna, tuna, and also delicious spaghetti with bottarga. The wine list wasn't overly extensive, but, on Elisa's recommendation, we tried an excellent Nuragus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

13/10/2025: Everything was very good; we came to this restaurant/pizzeria twice during our vacation. It's very basic, nothing fancy, but the food is perfect: excellent pizza, excellent fish, and very friendly service.

24/09/2025: Sounds like a family owned pizza restaurant. The pizza and house wine were both perfect for the price paid. Much better than pricey tourist restaurant we dined last night in downtown.

11/10/2025: As a Venetian at heart, I can honestly say this is the best spritz in Sardinia... I've been stopping at Carlofoforte for events for three years now, and I can't help but stop here for a spritz... unlike the ice-filled, tasteless glasses you find everywhere, at Mikimax, the spritz is served just like in the Veneto region! The price is the usual one on the island, but at least the quality is remarkable! I find the service courteous and friendly, and it's a pleasant aperitif overlooking the sea!

26/09/2025: In my opinion, the restaurant deserves more stars than the list here indicates. We got a table for lunch without a reservation, an hour before closing time. We ordered a mixed salad, spaghetti vongole, and pasticcio alla Carlofortina. We accompanied it with a light white wine, as recommended by the owner. The dishes were freshly prepared, and the aroma alone promised a great meal. The portions were truly plentiful. The value for money was good. However, I would like to point out that a low price shouldn't be the basis for a good meal. Much more important is the lasting taste experience. And for that, I say thank you very much. 19/10/2025: Traveling to Carloforte several times a year, we know Mamma Mahon very well. Limba is an angel and Roberto a living example of a dedicated cook. Whether you get something to take away for a sailing trip or you sit down in the evening and enjoy some special food, it’s always a good choice.

06/09/2025: Every year we return to Carloforte and go to Mamma Mahon for lunch, confident that we'll eat well—an increasingly rare occurrence. The place is clean, the food is just right, with flavors and truly plentiful, and the prices are fair. We ate quality fish made to order... at a restaurant we'd pay double. 09/09/2025: We ordered some takeout dishes, including the casca' Carlofortino (couscous). It was bland, and they'd added water. Perhaps to make it heavier... In any case, it was inedible. Thrown away.
