10/09/2023: Local overlooking the central Piazza Repubblica. It is a pub that serves craft beers from the brewery of the same name. The menu mainly features hamburger sandwiches (different combinations with vegetables and sauces), dishes consisting of meat and vegetables and excellent fresh fries. The choice of craft beers is quite wide and satisfies all palates: lager, stout, weiss, IPA, etc. Possibility to taste a selection of their 5 beers at a cost of €10. On weekends it is often crowded but with a fast turnover of customers. However, booking is recommended. Fast, courteous but sometimes inattentive service. They also do takeaway. Absolutely honest prices.

23/10/2023: 29 years ago we were guests of this hotel. I was pregnant with my son Giacomo, I had very strong nausea, I remember the smells of the sea, of food that bothered me. But the indelible memory of the place, of the courtesy, of the relaxation experienced during that holiday does not abandon me. My husband perfectly remembers eating delicious fish dishes, although he fights a bit with cooked fish. Thanks to your island, proud and authentic. Who knows if we will succeed next year...

19/10/2023: I spent a night in this historic seafront building in Carloforte with a group of cycling friends. Large rooms with comfortable beds, Excellent and plentiful sweet and savory breakfast. The bike storage problem was quickly resolved.

24/03/2024: The Pasticcio alla Carlofortina is excellent. I would recommend changing the water glasses, with the color layer largely peeling off, ugly to look at and not very inviting.

06/03/2024: Since you pay €2 for service, justified by the olives, but if I had known that the house wine cost €10 per litre, I would have taken a bottle. However, everything was good, although something could have been added for the €10 starter.

13/03/2024: Excellent port front location. Tables both outdoors (highly recommended) and indoors. Young, dynamic and friendly staff. Ideal for a lunch break during a trip to the splendid island of San Pietro

08/02/2024: Leggendo le tante recensioni negative è la prima cosa che mi viene di pensare.Siamo arrivati in questo locale per puro caso, prendendo un caffè, buonissimo peraltro, una mattina prima di recarsi al mare.L'ultima sera prima della partenza in cerca di un locale, dopo aver preso un paio di fregature in zona ,ci ricordiamo del caffè e della buona impressione avuta conversando.Prenotiamo, ci riceve il figlio della signora, vino un buon vermentino, antipasti misti, primi linguine e paccheri, secondo fritto e grigliata, abbiamo cancellato una portata ordinata perche' eravamo strapieni, non succede spesso ultimamente, senza problemi è stata tolta dal conto.Tutto buono, ottimi i primi ,asciutto il fritto,gli antipasti abbondanti da guardarsi negli occhi stupiti.Conto 135 euro in quattro,abbiamo lasciato dieci euro di mancia alla ragazza ,il proprietario ha offerto due mirto.esci col sorriso.Sarà fortuna ma è pura verità.Sottolineo che a Carloforte in due ristoranti su quattro sere , senza fare il nome, hanno sbagliato il conto o le classiche cose che ti propongono fuori menù raddoppiate .

01/04/2024: Super delicious ice cream 🍧 and the bubble waffles were ultra delicious 😋 🤤 at a very reasonable price. I always enjoy eating there and I definitely recommend it.

16/11/2023: The restaurant is run by a real crook. A first-rate bullshitter. Honestly the food is quite good, but the portion for a primo piatto of pasta at 18€ is ridiculous. The big blow was a medium-sized fish without accompaniment which I estimate at 400-500g max was supposedly weighed at 600g and charged €48. We got out at €98 for 2 people, the most expensive restaurant we had in Sardinia and we were still hungry afterwards. The chef and manager came to see us a few times during the meal, but at the end of the meal his waiter came to bring us the extremely high bill and immediately entered the amount on the card machine to put pressure on us. Didn't see the manager again who hid in his kitchen. I strongly advise against it. At this price, go to a real gastronomic restaurant like the Ristorante da Andrea al Cavallera or the Sandolo.

18/10/2023: I'm sorry I wasn't able to try the dishes as they are in the photo, unfortunately the only one I wanted to eat a few evenings ago (the fregola) was small in quantity, too soupy for the paltry content of fregola and fish and not very tasty. 22 euros for a dish plus 3 euros cover charge each (without even a paper placemat) little bread and two miserable triangles of carasau bread left us hungry... It's It was an expensive expense for a disappointing dinner. g.z.

03/01/2024: We have ate and drank in most places in Carloforte and Milkimax has far being the place we returned the most and will continue to return! The appetitive are second to none, nice cocktails and delicious pastries! The patrons are also happy to adapt to our order! Max is helpful and attentive and definitely a valuable asset to Carloforte’s shoreline!

06/09/2023: Very fast, smiling and available. A lot of care in the service. An original place outside the center of Carloforte. Good dough, very filling, generous size. For the first time the boys are unable to finish the sausage and chips pizza, called Mc Donald. The vegetarian one with wholemeal dough is delicious, the grilled vegetables are delicious: peppers, aubergines and courgettes. Fresh, lots of outdoor space, books available in the original library. The only flaw is the cats if you go with the dog and he doesn't get along. I have to come back to try other doughs. Gluten-free available upon reservation and also other treats such as turmeric and hemp.
