01/05/2025: Non-existent service, shame. We waited forever for a table, no menu brought, in the end we took it ourselves, in the end we didn't eat because the kitchen was closed and we hadn't been notified.

08/05/2025: Di passaggio a Carloforte, io e mia moglie siamo andati a cena al ristorante Da Nicolò, incuriositi da una foto pubblicata in un servizio di Bell’Italia lo scorso settembre su Carloforte, che ritraeva Antonello Pomata, patron e chef di questo ristorante, in bicicletta con una cesta di limoni ed una enorme bottarga di tonno appesa al manubrio. Siamo stati accolti con calore e simpatia sia dallo Chef sia dai suoi collaboratori che ci hanno spiegato e consigliato i piatti che abbiamo gustato durante la cena. Io ho scelto un cannolo croccante di pane carasau, con gamberi, cozze e zucchine su bisque di crostacei e come piatto principale dei mezzi paccheri con polpo, seppia, granchio rosso, pomodoro e cipolla. Come dessert una cassata Carlofortina. Mia moglie ha optato per una bottarga dl tonno di Carloforte con carciofo di Masainas, spuma di mozzarella di bufala, crostino di pane all'origano e scorza di limone. A seguire, lo stesso mio cannolo e per dessert una cheescake alla bottarga, invenzione dello chef. Tutti i piatti sono stati ottimi, all’altezza delle nostre aspettative. Il percorso è stato accompagnato da due calici di Vermentino a testa e con i dolci da un bicchiere di passito Angialis. Conto di 170 euro.

28/04/2025: Per noi velisti di lungo corso in Sardegna ogni anno e’ tradizione la visita da Nicolò’ che e’ sempre il migliore riferimento a Carloforte se si vuole altissima qualità e creatività . Il tutto viene accompagnato dalla gentilezza e professionalità di Antonello che supervisiona e coccola gli ospiti dall’inizio alla fine. Una esperienza da vivere quando si viene a visitare questa meravigliosa Isola . E “Da Nicolò’ “ renderà’ indimenticabile il vostro soggiorno.

03/05/2025: We went to this place today, May 3rd for lunch. Initial misunderstanding with the waitress who brought out the first and second courses all together! Tuna belly (which they had was medium cooked), still frozen in the centre, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge! Honestly, for a €30 portion I would expect at least the right cooking.

08/10/2024: We stayed 2 nights in this establishment and we occupied a recently renovated room in the small building connected to the main building. We did not stay long enough to judge the quality of the staff, but the hotel is well placed, opening onto the marina, close to the center of Carloforte. The main building has a lot of charm and the garden at the back of the building is very well maintained. Nothing to report regarding the cleanliness of the room: the bathroom is functional with a cabin shower. The breakfast is ok, nothing more. A recommendation for having visited one: avoid the rooms at the back of the main building, without windows and very poorly lit.
