10/12/2024: Value for money absolutely out of line. 22 euros a microscopic tuna tartar, full of fat and cartilage that I had to discard, on top of a tasteless burrata. The seafood carbonaras arrived at the table all very salty even if cooked at different times (this implies a mistake upstream of the line) with incorrect creaming (curdled). I didn't like the fried food, with the fish being of little quality and quite greasy and heavy (waited for almost 40 minutes after the others had already finished eating). The trio of tuna samples were absolutely too expensive (30 euros) for three pieces of tuna as good as many other tuna dishes I've tasted around. I hope not to read the usual tale of raw materials and processing as a justification answer because in Carloforte we all know how much good tuna and Ventresca and fish in general cost; and if you want you can create dishes with excellent raw materials without applying these prices. In my opinion, for these prices the restaurateur must be able to offer a very high level both in the kitchen and in the dining room, something that has absolutely failed here. Those who frequent high-level restaurants assiduously will agree with me on what I say, at that point I prefer to spend double or triple, but for it to be truly an experience. Last point which is not clear to me, first Nicola came to illustrate the wine, then he was the chef in the kitchen and then to do the math, I didn't appreciate this aspect.

15/10/2024: Very kind guys and delicious ice cream. I highly recommend it. They have a wide selection and they were so kind to let me try the flavor first which I then chose because it was really good (salted caramel)

23/08/2024: Super delicious ice cream 🍧 and the bubble waffles were ultra delicious 😋 🤤 at a very reasonable price. I always enjoy eating there and I definitely recommend it.

16/10/2024: The restaurant was a real discovery, the innkeeper won us over with his kind manner, absolutely worth trying with the Carlofortina pasticcio, the salad with the typical Carloforte tiger cucumbers, tomato biscuits and the inevitable tuna as well as the Carloforte pasta which was truly balanced and tasty!!

23/03/2025: Sconsigliato! Una frittura di pesce pessima: cruda, molliccia, surgelata, inzuppata di olio, senza sapore. Esperienza da non ripetere!!

17/10/2024: Il 12/10/2024 ho cenato con mia moglie presso questa gastronomia che offre anche la possibilità di mangiare all’aperto, con tavolini sul marciapiede. Il personale è stato cortese e la scelta dei piatti era sufficiente, sebbene le porzioni non fossero particolarmente abbondanti, specialmente per i secondi. Abbiamo ordinato due porzioni di cous cous, un’insalata di polpo con patate, una porzione di pesce spada, un bicchiere di vino, una bottiglia d’acqua e una Coca-Cola. Tuttavia, i prezzi ci hanno sorpreso: i secondi piatti erano rispettivamente 19,50€ e 15,00€, mentre i primi 7,50€ a porzione. Considerando il contesto molto semplice – cenare all’aperto su un marciapiede con un servizio di base (a pagamento) – se avessi saputo che la spesa sarebbe stata così elevata, probabilmente avrei scelto un’alternativa più adeguata alle mie aspettative.

21/09/2024: Vacanza a Carloforte, su consiglio di amici ci ritroviamo a cenare in questa gastronomia sulla passeggiata mare Subito messi a nostro agio da Roberto e Limba che con estrema passione gestiscono cucinando sapientemente piatti tipici carlofortini e sardi dal cascà delicatissimo a verdure e primi piatti sempre disponibili nella loro gastronomia da asporto o su ordinazione come il maialino croccante fuori e morbidissimo dentro, fregola con pesce fresco sublime , polpo con patate divino, pasta con bottarga di tonno e cozze … Ci hanno conquistato e coccolato per tutta la settimana grazie

08/10/2024: We stayed 2 nights in this establishment and we occupied a recently renovated room in the small building connected to the main building. We did not stay long enough to judge the quality of the staff, but the hotel is well placed, opening onto the marina, close to the center of Carloforte. The main building has a lot of charm and the garden at the back of the building is very well maintained. Nothing to report regarding the cleanliness of the room: the bathroom is functional with a cabin shower. The breakfast is ok, nothing more. A recommendation for having visited one: avoid the rooms at the back of the main building, without windows and very poorly lit.

16/10/2024: Best gelato in town, and I tried 3 other places to compare. You can tell by the flavors and also because it’s dense and creamy. Not aerated and fluffy like cheap gelato.

06/10/2024: Slowly, after about 10 minutes of trying to intercept a construction site I went into the bar to ask for a beer (I was a little thirsty given the hot day) the person at the counter sent me back to the table saying: "we don't work like that, I don't know which table you are at. I send the boy, so to mark the beer at the table he doesn't know where I am but to send me the waiter yes

03/01/2025: Excellent breakfast, from the coffee to the cappuccino, to the juice, to the delicious croissants. Truly friendly and qualified adult staff

25/12/2024: Open on December 25th. Very nice people. The espresso and cappuccino were very good. A quaint old cafe. The dolci are average but ok. If that's not enough, you can look for a Starbucks.
