08/08/2026: I have been to the u'palacca restaurant several times and the very warm and tropical atmosphere is overwhelming, the welcome and the Roman accent make everything more magical, I recommend the gratinated mussels, far surpassing those of grandma, something that has never happened, also recommended seafood carbonara
06/08/2026: I've read so many lies in my life, but never more so than in the negative reviews of this restaurant, which isn't just good, it's one of the best seafood restaurants I've ever been to. The mussel soup is incredible, as is the care the staff and owner take in using the highest-quality ingredients, which they handle with skill and respect.

The food was okay but the kitchen is not flexible at all, it seems that they are not interested in making your stay a good experience.
12/08/2026: I was there the other night with my family. Two fregole allo scoglio were basically just tomato sauce, four mussels (only one full), one tiny squid, and two nonexistent shrimp. €20
Spaghetti with clams was acceptable.

21/08/2026: Some dishes were excellent, others not so much, and there were some errors when ordering; in the end, they took the dish away, but we waited over 20 minutes for the correct one. Very nice location, friendly staff.
21/08/2026: Pizzeria/restaurant overlooking the sea and one of the most beautiful sunsets in Sardinia.

24/06/2026: Very disappointed. The burger was tiny and not very tasty; the only redeeming feature was the melted cheese on top. The "fresh fries" listed on the menu were actually just chips from a bag, refried and served as if they were a specialty. The service and friendliness of the staff were questionable. The only positive note was the beers, which were unique and good.

05/08/2026: Excellent grilled fish dinner, and both the mussel soup and the pickled swordfish are delicious.
And the beautiful, elegant venue offers a breathtaking view of the sea at sunset.
Highly recommended.
28/06/2026: Two pizzas, an hour and a half wait. Tables who arrived after us ordered later than us, and received their pizzas first. We had to order another pizza after an hour and a half because they ran out of ingredients. They served a bottle of beer that expired seven months ago.

19/06/2026: I've never seen a pizzeria where plates and dishes are thrown haphazardly onto the table and where diners have to hand them out to those who ordered them. And with the dining room practically empty. An experience not to be repeated.
10/06/2026: We ordered two pizzas: one seafood and one Biancaneve. Both had a distinct taste of sour mozzarella. The seafood also had spoiled mussels with a nasty taste and an unpleasant odor (I use the word "unpleasant" to be polite). The waitress, seeing that the pizza was still on the plate, asked if everything was okay. After explaining the problem, she dismissed us with a "I'll report it!" We paid the full bill without even a word of apology. An experience we absolutely won't repeat!

17/08/2026: In the evening, it's a pizzeria with plastic tables set up on the street in the historic center of Sant'Antioco. They serve pizza in slices, with a crust that looks fried and is very crispy. I really enjoyed it, and the prices are fair.
15/08/2026: Misleading: the place, the window stickers, the welcome at the table, and the table setting all make you think of a classic pizzeria serving round pizzas. Only on the menu, at the top, does the word "pizza by the slice" appear, which is completely absent from the signs and never mentioned by the waiters. In short, if you're not careful, you risk realizing it once you see the food in front of you.
When paying the bill, we pointed out to the cashier how misleading it all was, and she "barricaded" herself by the fact that the word "pizza by the slice" appears on the menu.

22/02/2026: The gelato was delicious. I ordered three flavors at a reasonable price and enjoyed it in the streets of the historic center, near the steps. It's an experience I'd happily repeat. The place has several shaded outdoor tables, perfect for summer.
