My husband ordered a good pizza... unfortunately, everything was ruined by my specific request to change the side dish on a burger and fries... or salad... since I have serious intestinal problems... I simply wanted to replace the fries or salad with grilled zucchini. To my question, "Can you change the side dish or should I just have the burger?" She replied, "The dish is like that... you can't change it." If you can't eat fries, "THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM..." Conclusion... except for the burger, which was as thin as a sock and of poor quality. I left the fries and paid FULL PRICE. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

17/06/2025: I'm Canadian, and my Italian is rather limited. But the restaurant staff is understanding, charming, patient, and friendly. Good food in very generous portions, some things more delicious than others. The restaurant is essentially an open terrace on the edge of a park with a pine forest, perfect for warm evenings. The pizzas we tried were wonderful.

28/09/2025: After a motorcycle tour of the island of San Pietro, we stopped at this little restaurant in Carloforte, recommended to us by a local bar. It was a great choice. I also loved the menu I'd seen by chance, which seemed appropriate. Tuna and octopus for an appetizer, a trofie pasta with a tuna pesto whose aroma alone made it worth a second try, a grilled tuna dish worthy of a true saltimbocca, and wine to suit your taste. What can I say about the service? Excellent and attentive, and prices in line with the location. For those who want it, it's just a stone's throw from the ferry. Beautiful day.

The service was friendly and informal, the menu featured tuna, tuna, and also delicious spaghetti with bottarga. The wine list wasn't overly extensive, but, on Elisa's recommendation, we tried an excellent Nuragus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

26/08/2025: Terrible. The location is rundown and dated. BEWARE OF THE RAW FOOD! Unusually HOT. POORLY DEFROSTED SALMON WITH A OLD SMELL. OVERCOOKED, BADLY SEASONED RICE. Grilled ravioli were poorly cooked and stale, given the white color of the pasta. Finally, the bill... AYCE YES! BUT WHEN FACE OF PLATES HAVE BEEN SENT BACK, MAYBE I'D ASK MYSELF A QUESTION.

We've been coming here for 10 years now, and I've seen the quality continually improve over the years, but finding the same level of affection is what makes me happiest. It's the only place where I eat fish and can be confident I can trust it. I've had the amazing ravioli with sea bass, and the spaghetti alla San Nicolò; the pasta is truly excellent.

I've been stopping at Carlofoforte for events for three years now, and I can't help but stop here for a spritz... unlike the ice-filled, tasteless glasses you find everywhere, at Mikimax, the spritz is served just like in the Veneto region! The price is the usual one on the island, but at least the quality is remarkable! I find the service courteous and friendly, and it's a pleasant aperitif overlooking the sea!
