21/08/2025: We went in the evening after dinner and it's a perfect place for a quiet drink. The drinks were very good and everything was very reasonably priced. It's also in a great location and the waitress was very friendly.

17/08/2025: The operator was incredibly rude. I was asking for information about live music and she hung up on me with a rudeness that not even Lino Banfi in his films could describe... whoever it was, diverted my group of 10 people to the furthest kiosk...

25/01/2026: To access this location, you have to go down a walkway designed, I assume, for wheelchairs, with no handrail or anything, very dangerous for the elderly or those wearing heels... It was freezing cold. They sat us on the veranda, the tableware was all paper, all bags, in the time of Covid. I won't argue with the pizza because I haven't tried it, but it looked good. As for the food, apart from the pepperoni side dish, I have to say it was awful, awful, awful. Of course, I didn't have much choice in Carloforte at the moment, since all the restaurants are closed during the off-peak season. However, if the few that remain worked a little better, they would have left me with good memories. I think that unfortunately, San Pietro Island is no longer in my future plans.

18/08/2025: A very family-friendly atmosphere, well-maintained, with excellent homemade food. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pool area is lovely. The location, surrounded by greenery, is excellent for easily reaching the most beautiful beaches.

05/08/2025: A beautifully maintained farmhouse surrounded by greenery, with beautiful, meticulously cared for animals. A place to spend quiet evenings and have fun in the pool. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: I came in to take away some croissants but the lady was basically rude and arrogant. I would have even waited if you had asked in a much more polite tone. Kindness is the basis for working in places like yours. ☺️

26/09/2025: In my opinion, the restaurant deserves more stars than the list here indicates. We got a table for lunch without a reservation, an hour before closing time. We ordered a mixed salad, spaghetti vongole, and pasticcio alla Carlofortina. We accompanied it with a light white wine, as recommended by the owner. The dishes were freshly prepared, and the aroma alone promised a great meal. The portions were truly plentiful. The value for money was good. However, I would like to point out that a low price shouldn't be the basis for a good meal. Much more important is the lasting taste experience. And for that, I say thank you very much. 25/09/2025: A small trattoria discovered by chance... the owner and the waiter were very kind, and recommended typical local dishes. The food was delicious, and the price was excellent. Recommended.

30/01/2026: The staff were extremely kind and attentive. The only major flaw was the food. We ordered the mussel soup (the accompanying sauce was excellent, but the mussels were probably overcooked) and then the trio of appetizers. We were speechless; we weren't happy with any of the dishes; they were tasteless, and some were truly absurd for the price (crackers with 2 or 3 mussels on top, also "dry," and freshly chopped tomatoes). I'm sorry, but we were expecting much, much more. It's a shame, but nothing was good. It's a shame everything else was exceptional.

07/01/2026: Nice place, but... Mussels cooked at noon and reheated in the evening. Raw fish sent back to the kitchen. I owned a restaurant in Sardinia for 30 years and I know what I'm talking about. But the sad thing is that they keep saying I'm wrong, pitiful. Highly recommended. The bill was €62. A: Your response is just a gratuitous insult. The fact is that you mock "tourists" and certainly don't do justice to my wonderful Sardinia. Fresh fish is presented on a tray so the customer can choose, otherwise it's frozen. The mustela you served was raw inside and mushy on the outside, anything but fresh. The banal Arborea mussels were left over from midday, reheated and served, practically chewing gum. You even have the nerve to reply, shame on you. 2 glasses of white wine 1 mustela, approximately 250 grams, sent back to cook 1 plate of rubbery mussels €62.

08/02/2026: We've been here several times to give this place more of a try. It's a restaurant with two rooms, a very nice one at the entrance and another off to the side with very old, broken, and patched-up sofas. Naturally, they seat you in the room with the old sofas, where a waiter comes every 30 minutes, because everyone is in the other room, where there are no customers. To order or ask for anything, you either get up and go to them or you have to wait for a waiter to show up. Once you've taken orders, you receive your food no sooner than a 45-minute wait (and the room is half-empty, to boot). It's a shame because the food is good, but the service is unnerving.

23/11/2025: Perfect location, professional staff, and amazing cuisine! We had an excellent stay at Hotel Artu. The location is fantastic: the hotel is very central and directly overlooks Piazza Sella, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and professional. The room was clean, with a modern, recently renovated, and comfortably sized bathroom. The restaurant deserves special mention: excellent Italian breakfast and a mushroom-based lunch that turned out exceptional. The cuisine was refined and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: “Su Mustazzeddu” in the heart of Nebida and ours. Typical Sardinian dishes, cooked with love and passion. We tried four different dishes, all truly delicious: you can clearly see how much the chef loves what he does. The staff was fantastic, kind, and welcoming. The cookies we took away… a real treat for the palate! Nico, the chef, is a wonderful person, the kind you never forget. Goodbye and a big thank you to all of you. 11/11/2025: I have coffee and croissant here most mornings. My Italian is very weak, but the beautiful ladies who work there are always very kind and patient with my poor language skills. After a few visits, they had memorized my order. They often see me coming through their window, and have my order ready and waiting for me by the time I reach the counter. The place is small. The menu. is simple. I sit at a table 10 meters from the sea, overlooking the fishing boats, enjoying my coffee and croissant. It doesn’t get better than this.

Whether you get something to take away for a sailing trip or you sit down in the evening and enjoy some special food, it’s always a good choice.

The place is clean, the food is just right, with flavors and truly plentiful, and the prices are fair. We ate quality fish made to order... at a restaurant we'd pay double.
