28/09/2025: After a motorcycle tour of the island of San Pietro, we stopped at this little restaurant in Carloforte, recommended to us by a local bar. It was a great choice. I also loved the menu I'd seen by chance, which seemed appropriate. Tuna and octopus for an appetizer, a trofie pasta with a tuna pesto whose aroma alone made it worth a second try, a grilled tuna dish worthy of a true saltimbocca, and wine to suit your taste. What can I say about the service? Excellent and attentive, and prices in line with the location. For those who want it, it's just a stone's throw from the ferry. Beautiful day.

20/09/2025: We stopped for dinner one evening, intrigued by the presence of so many locals, and we had a great time. The service was friendly and informal, the menu featured tuna, tuna, and also delicious spaghetti with bottarga. The wine list wasn't overly extensive, but, on Elisa's recommendation, we tried an excellent Nuragus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

11/10/2025: As a Venetian at heart, I can honestly say this is the best spritz in Sardinia... I've been stopping at Carlofoforte for events for three years now, and I can't help but stop here for a spritz... unlike the ice-filled, tasteless glasses you find everywhere, at Mikimax, the spritz is served just like in the Veneto region! The price is the usual one on the island, but at least the quality is remarkable! I find the service courteous and friendly, and it's a pleasant aperitif overlooking the sea!

29/08/2025: Nice and welcoming atmosphere. My husband ordered a good pizza... unfortunately, everything was ruined by my specific request to change the side dish on a burger and fries... or salad... since I have serious intestinal problems... I simply wanted to replace the fries or salad with grilled zucchini. To my question, "Can you change the side dish or should I just have the burger?" She replied, "The dish is like that... you can't change it." If you can't eat fries, "THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM..." Conclusion... except for the burger, which was as thin as a sock and of poor quality. I left the fries and paid FULL PRICE. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

17/06/2025: I'm Canadian, and my Italian is rather limited. But the restaurant staff is understanding, charming, patient, and friendly. Good food in very generous portions, some things more delicious than others. The restaurant is essentially an open terrace on the edge of a park with a pine forest, perfect for warm evenings. The pizzas we tried were wonderful.

21/08/2025: We went at night after dinner, and it's a perfect place for a quiet drink. The drinks were very good and everything was very affordable. It's also very well located, and the waitress is very friendly.

17/08/2025: The operator was incredibly rude. I was asking for information about live music and she hung up on me with a rudeness that not even Lino Banfi in his films could describe... whoever it was, diverted my group of 10 people to the furthest kiosk...

16/06/2025: Io e mio marito abbiamo voluto assaggiare il pesce crudo in questo ristorante perché ci è stato consigliato da molti abitanti locali. Abbiamo quindi preso: 6 gamberi rossi di seconda scelta (la prima purtroppo non c'era), 4 scampi, due ostriche e una tartare di tonno eccezionale. Buon sapore e prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto ad altri ristoranti ma vale per l'attenta cura del locale. (35€ gamberi, 14€ scampi e 8€ ostriche). Abbiamo proseguito con un fritto misto, buono, giusta porzione ma niente di eccezionale e gli spiedini di pesce spada. Questi ultimi devo dire, che ci hanno sorpreso perché erano davvero ottimi e morbidi. Abbiamo concluso con due seadas (fatte in casa) davvero spettacolari. Due bottiglie d'acqua e una coca cola, totale 139€. Abbiamo dovuto attendere circa mezz'ora prima della prima portata ma un cameriere si è accorto della nostra attesa senza che dicessessimo nulla, e ha provveduto a farci servire. Il resto della cena è continuato con giusti tempi. Sicuramente un ristorante da provare.

15/06/2025: Molto buono il pesce e l’attenzione al cliente e stata adeguata, anche il rapporto qualità prezzo è senza dubbio corretto, merita una visita.

17/10/2025: For my very first time in Sardinia, I ate this delicious poke. The staff was welcoming, and the location was perfect, being in the historic center of Iglesias. I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of this poke, as the ingredients are top-quality. The prices are fair and affordable.
