The staff is friendly, the service impeccable, and they're friendly, competent, and clean. Everything is topped off with homemade first courses that respect Roman tradition, and second courses and side dishes that exceed expectations. Everything is top-notch. Congratulations! 09/04/2026: I returned to Koko in Quartu for lunch after several years away, driven by the memory of what was once an undisputed local excellence. Unfortunately, I must note with great regret that the superior quality that once made it a must-visit seems to have faded over time. It's a real shame to see a restaurant with this history decline to standards that no longer hold their own as they once did. The main problem lies in its comparison with the current gastronomic landscape of Cagliari and the surrounding area, where the average level of sushi and rice processing has become extremely high. In such a competitive environment, offering an à la carte menu with a quality of ingredients and preparation now easily found in a standard all-you-can-eat restaurant is unfortunately not a winning choice. Customers who choose the à la carte option do so because they're looking for an elite experience, which is lacking here today. I sincerely hope this criticism of mine will be seen as an incentive to improve and rediscover the brilliance of the past, because Quartu needs to maintain its historic landmarks. I hope to return in the future and rediscover the care and freshness that made Koko a special place, bringing it back to the level its fame deserves.

The service was courteous and attentive, the timing was right, and the overall experience was excellent.
